Having read reviews we were
keen to see if this place lived up
to what had been written. Did
it? Yes by far, what a gem. The
staff are fabulous, so friendly
and welcoming. The food was
superb, very tasty and plenty
of it with a great choice of
menu. The Bell is a beautiful old
pub/restaurant with fabulous
accommodation. Our room was
large, clean, with a super comfy
bed, and a lovely shower. We
did wonder if it would be noisy
but after 10pm, there was total
silence. For us the staff do make
this place, Nick the manager
was lovely and our young lady at
breakfast was wonderful, such a rare thing these days that's for sure. The whole place was spotless, the outside pretty, a very lovely welcoming place.
Nothing not to like. If I had to pick, it would just be nice if it was a little nearer somewhere to visit but that's being really picky and would spoil the serenity and peace!

Very warm and friendly. Room very tastefully designed and clean. Large comfortable bed and staff always on hand to help if you needed anything. Little touches thought of such as fresh milk in a fridge in your room for tea and coffee and a mini kitchen if you wanted to prepare a snack . The in food very good and nice atmosphere to eat in .
All fine

Every single person treated us exceptionally well; all were very friendly and we felt extremely welcome.
The Wi-fi was weak and spotty, but hardly an issue.

The guest rooms were quiet and you wouldn’t know you were above a popular and busy pub/dining room. Parking on site was great, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was really varied and freshly made to order from the kitchen alongside a continental offering. We had an evening meal one night which was very nice and the property was in a good location for us to drive to the surrounding towns in the Cotswolds. We would return and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. The rooms were clean, tidy and the toiletries smelt lovely! Little touches made the stay ideal for a weekend away from it all.
There really wasn’t much not to like! The only thing for me personally was the bed, it was a great size but the mattress wasn’t overly comfortable. This is a personal view but something a bit firmer would have been better.

Nice bath towels
Biggest issue was the bed was very poor. Sank all the way to the bottom. No support at all on one side. Poor pillows as well. As with many B&Bs in this area there is no A/C. While this is somewhat understandable given temps outside, the issue was the room was quite hot upon arrival so we opened the windows. When we returned the room smelled from smoke as the outdoor pub seating was below. Also, pack very light as there are many doors to go through to get to the rooms.

Rooms were a bit hot. Location is a bit far from popular tourist destinations.

Fabulous location ideal for walking trails. Was handy to have a small fridge, microwave and toaster. The food was superb, best muscles I have tasted since having green lipped muscles in New Zealand. Staff extremely helpful and courteous.

My favorite pub with terrific rooms in the Cotswolds. Clean comfortable rooms, great food and drink. Lovely, accommodating staff.
Nothing not to love.

The staff, the service and the prompt remedial action taken when the shower did not work. The decor and furnishings have kept the character of the place whilst providing an update to facilities.
the quality of the mattress was poor.
perhaps a pasta dish or a slightly extended dinner menu would be welcome.

The room was large and the bed comfortable.
The bathroom was beautifully equipped.
Breakfast between 9 and 10am only didn't really suit as we like to get out early and explore. We only had breakfast twice

Beautiful B&B. We only stayed for 1 night but loved everything about it. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, and yummy breakfast!

Great food. Great staff. Comfortable room.

Nice room, restaurant was noisy but very busy, so to be expected. Hosts were great, given I turned Up early for check in. Location is special.
Had dinner, food that we ordered wasn’t as expected. Guest had allergy to leeks and chives, whilst this was not an issue, perception was that there might be cross contamination. Ordered mussels as main course, no side plate for shells, remedied after 5 minutes without prompt, five minutes too late.
Ordered and paid for 3 cheese course, only 2 cheese provided. The blue cheese would have been nice, as I paid for it.
Breakfast, 9am pitched up at 9:10, to an empty dining room. Packed up, went down to check out, waited another 5 mins. Decided based on experience thus far, breakfast (included) wasn’t going to be worth it.
£115 A night, not for me.
