Beautiful location, close to everything but far enough away for some quiet in the evenings. Some bread, fruit, homemade marmalade, butter, tea and coffee and daily provided filtered water was a nice touch!
Hosts were very accommodating in allowing us to store our luggage until our later flight, free of charge!
There is very little natural light.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, we took shifts on the couch.
The solution for cooling the apartment was to leave the window, with provided mosquito net, open... However mosquitos still got in and we were bitten through the night.

Superbe appartement: tastefully decorated, cosy, comfortable. The patio is such a plus. Splendid located very close to the center of te city and the bus station and stil a very quiet neighbourhood. Hastings park is just around the corner and is a lovely place to enjoy the sunset at the fountain in the coolness of a tree. The hosts are very caring - we loved the basic pakkage with food and drinks in the fridge when we arrived, the little chocolates at our bed. So attentive. We recommend. Definitely. And will come back again if we would visit Malta again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay, the apartment was quirky and comfortable and our host Raisa was helpful and generous with thoughtful little extras. Location was ideal for exploring Valletta and surrounds. Highly recommend.

Martin and Raisa’s Myrtle Suite was tranquil and welcoming. They provide thoughtful items for snacks, for tea and coffee, especially the delicious home made marmalade! I may return one day.

A peaceful, traditional, yet fully equipped house with its own small internal courtyard. Located in the most convenient spot in Valletta, 10 minutes away from all the buses and a 5-minute walk to the city center. It is equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay (coffee maker, kitchen, etc.). The owners are very helpful and responsive. It has a bit of humidity due to the stone and the island, but with ventilation and a dehumidifier, everything was fine! Worth 100%.

Location was central to major sites and bus transport but tucked away in a quiet street. It was very near the gardens overlooking the city which was lovely.

Wonderful apartment in excellent location! The flat is sparkling clean, charming and quiet, beautifully renovated historical building and court-yard. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and pay attention to detail, for example, providing a welcome pack with local and homemade goodies. The flat is nicely furnished and the bed is very comfortable. Had a very pleasant stay! Fully recommended for relaxing and exploring Valletta as well as all of Malta and Gozo – close to buses and ferries.

Our overall stay was very enjoyable and the hosts (and their cat) where delightful! They paid close attention to detail making us feel at home while providing a very authentic traditional Maltese feeling and even had local products for snacks which was a bonus! Location is great, the Sliema ferry port is a few minutes walk and the bus terminal is a also 5 minutes away which is helpful especially if you're travelling with a lot of luggage. The main street is just around the corner with shops, cafes, restaurants, museums, etc. We would definitely return when visiting Malta again!
The only negative thing was the humidity in the suite, BUT given that it's an old traditional building and Malta is generally very humid, i think it's to be expected and the hosts had a dehumidifier which helped.

The hosts are really lovely and they definitely care a lot about every detail. They left some food and drinks, including homemade mermelade, which was really perfect when arriving from a long trip. I even got help with finding stores and booking a taxi. The apartment has everything that one could need for a great stay in Valletta
I don't know if it was because of the rainy days, but the humidity smell was a bit strong.

We loved our get away: an authentic Valletta townhouse, great hospitality by the hosts, cozy and quiet ambiance. The place is sparkling clean and well-designed, enjoyed reading a book on the patio. We felt truly at home

Ideal location to visit Valletta, just five minutes walk from the main street. Very safe and quiet with ample free parking around the corner. Would highly recommend the city which has many beautiful historic places to visit and has a lively nightlife with fantastic, quirky bars.
House was well equipped to cook a meal etc if needed.
The courtyard is a shared space which was not clear in the booking information. Although it was not used by anyone else while we were there we felt there was a lack of privacy. We were also told to keep windows open because of humidity, this was still secure but again felt like a lack of privacy as the room and terrace is open to the rest of the family home. Photos look better than in real life.
Bed was very creaky and the noise woke you up when you turned over!
On our last night we had to dispose of a huge cockroach that was in the main living space. This was really horrible and we were pleased to leave early the next day.
Although not expensive I would not return.

We loved every detail of our stay. The hosts are amazing and thoughtful, making you feel like home! The place is unique, with all the facilities may the guest need. We loved the yard and Effie! We would certainly stay here if we visit Malta again and we recommend it to friends and family!
Everything was perfect!

The location was perfect, plenty of parking nearby but such a short walk to amazing views and the centre. The decor was charming, felt like a real home with some very nice art deco style furniture pieces and traditional tiled floor. Courtyard was a little oasis in the city.
Was a bit warm at night.

This apartment is extraordinary. It has high ceilings, it is very well designed and spotless.
We were there in the begining of April and it was so cold inside. The firts electric heater wasn't work properly. Then we complained and the host changed it for other heater. It was better. But after all, I would not recommend this accommodation for winter and spring season.

Great location in the historic Valetta area. Lots of restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. Very well set up apartment and kitchen with everything you need. A lot of care by the host to make this a nice and welcoming place.
Ground floor apartment in old stone building is pretty dark and cold (in March. Probably more a bonus point during Maltese hot summer.)

Lovely flat with high ceilings. Its bigger than it seems in the photos. Great location and responsive host.
It was a bit cold and though Citronella candles were provided, they weren't enough to fight more than a couple mosquitos that we had in the room.

The location is perfect, the apartment very comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts are very kind and thoughtful, providing essentials for breakfast (with even vegan options) and purified water everyday.
We stayed in December. Without central heating, the tall rooms took time to warm up using the electric radiator. If you are visiting Malta in winter time, make sure to bring warm clothes and slippers when lounging around indoors.

The hosts are so accomodating. They prepared a welcome pack with a lot of care. The apartment was very clean, the bedsheets were soft, and the patio was lovely.

The hosts were awesome and helpful. They had a pack of goodies prepared for us when we arrived that even included water bottles from their water purifier! We especially liked the fact that they are environmentally conscious, with all the little touches here and there in the apartment (having an organic waste bin for example). The apartment was beautiful and cozy and one could feel the great care that has gone into preparing it. The location was excellent, very quiet and at the same time very close to the center.
Nothing. As a feedback, one suggestion that we could make, is that the bathroom could use a solid door.

We came to valetta in early november for 3 days.
The place is beautiful, very cute courtyard. Lots of attention from the host, Martin, who's adorable. Place is very eco friendly (plant based butter ! Selective sorting.)
Location is optimal in Valetta near the city entrance of Valetta, very quiet and a public parking is nearby. And the price was really good compared to the rest of the offer.
We also forgot our jacket at the flat and Martin kindly helped us to retrieve it.
Absolutely recommend this place.

This place was created in an old family home and offers an authentic Valletta house experience with a cosy patio. It combines restored vintage furniture with a few high-tech tweaks. As someone who appreciates signage when encountering unfamiliar objects, I appreciated detailed instructions for the use of all appliances. The hosts prepared a welcome basket for breakfast and water from their purifier - when so many things in Malta are excessively plasticky, it was refreshing to see their commitment to waste-free hospitality

Best location to stay and explore Malta, close to everything. Nice apartment and very well equipped in typical Maltese building with high ceilings, thick walls, and internal courtyard.
