Wir haben 2 tolle Nächte hier verbracht. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Wasser. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und modern eingerichtet (sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern). Unser Zimmer hatte zudem einen kleinen Balkon mit Tisch und Stühlen. Der Ausblick aufs Wasser ließ uns träumen. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich.
Das hoteleigene Restaurant bietet ausreichend Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten. Wer das Frühstück hinzu bucht, darf ein Gericht a la carte wählen. Die Cocktails und Smoothies sind sehr lecker. Besonders die Scampi-Spieße und der Kokosreis sind zu empfehlen.
Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles war sehr sauber.
Vom Steg ist ein direkter Einstieg ins Wasser möglich. Zudem sind Schaukeln angebracht, auf denen man wunderbar die Sonne genießen kann
Für das Schloss am Zimmer bekommt man einen Code, was toll ist, da man so keine Karte bei sich tragen muss.
Einen Föhn konnten wir uns an der Rezeption leihen.
In der Umgebung gibt es fussläufig ein paar Einkaufsläden.
Per Wassertaxi kamen wir am Anleger an und wurden mit einem Taxi direkt ins Hotel gefahren. Die Abreise auf die Insel Bastimentos erfolgte am hoteleigenen Steg.
Wassertaxis können vom Personal immer recht zügig geordert werden..
Es gab nur Zimmerservice auf Anfrage. Wir brauchten aber wenigstens neue Handtücher.
Im Hotel gibt es Trinkwasser zum Abfüllen. Dieses ist jedoch nicht genießbar, sodass ich davon abrate.

Amazing deck, can swim directly from hostel, nice tunes and food. Welcome drink on arrival. Activities organised. Off the centre of town but not a bad thing as there’s currently construction in town.
The pod was like a small warm cave, personal fan doesn’t make much difference. The bathroom in dorm didn’t have air con so was very hot. Reception staff could be less corporate and more friendly.

The hotel has a nice quiet location in Bocas town, very nice sun & bathing platform, nice restaurant on the water, everything well maintained & very modern and clean. The staff was outstanding friendly, reception, housekeeping, restaurant- just great. The food with a Greek touch war marvellous.
We were really happy about the public places and then we checked in. We booked the smallest private category "Just right" with no balcony, because we only stayed one night, so our expectations were not high. But unfortunately they weren´t met. The small room was in the souterrain with a small window, which was not to open, and very less light, because the water tanks & their pumps were in front of the window, so not only less light, but the whole night very loud noises next to your head. It´s the same level like the hostel doorms and a very light door, so you have the noise from the young people at the aisle as well (we are in our 30s so no old people, but it was really much). We payed a 111 $ rate for the night and this is not comparable for such a room. The interior is also modern and it was clean, but we didn´t slept at all with all the noises and no fresh air around. This room is not more than a Budget/last room availability option and the price of this is cheeky.

I never leave reviews however this hostel was so disappointing I need to. This hostel was more expensive than my hostels in Australia and New Zealand (which are more expensive countries than Panama) yet the stay was poor. For my first two days there was limited water. They kept switching it on and off so we didn’t have access to water most of the time. A girl in my room had diarrhoea and couldn’t flush the toilet which was stressful for us all. This was not an island issue because my friends were in other hostels and didn’t have problems. The bathroom was always dirty. There were flies in the kitchen. For the price I paid I expect a good quality hostel yet it fell so short from that. The aircon in my room leaked and made one of the girl’s bags very wet. When she was washing it, she started feeling nauseous and short of breath. Turns out it was poisonous. They weren’t apologetic to her and didn’t offer her monetary compensation. I would highly advise against staying at this hostel. For the price you pay, it is not worth it at all. Other hostels in the area are better value for money.

O quarto com sacada para o nascer do sol é espaçoso, camas confortáveis, lençóis branquinhos, splite silencioso, banheiro espaçoso com vista, o shampoo, condicionador e sabonete para as mãos são ótimos. Área de restaurante é ótima, no cardápio tem opções deliciosas para o café da manhã/almoço/jantar. Os passeios para praias lindas foi maravilhoso, fizemos 2 dias de passeio. Um obrigada a equipe toda do hotel ( hospedagem/restaurante) pelo sempre pronto atendimento e gentileza. Meninas no restaurante sempre com aquele sorriso.
Infelizmente as ruas não são asfaltadas e falta saneamento na cidade.

We hadden een normale kamer geboekt. Deze kamer viel qua ruimte best wel tegen en ook was er geen raam waardoor je naar buiten kon kijken. Op de kamer hadden we verder last van omgevingsgeluid en een storende piep. Toen we dit melden bij de receptie kregen we een upgrade naar een oceanview kamer. Deze was een stuk ruimer en comfortabeler. De service en klantvriendelijkheid vonden wij dus bijzonder goed. Verder een fijn hotel, mooi gelegen, relaxte lounge met een prachtig zicht op het water.
Denk erom dat de standaard kamer niet ruim is en ook geen mooi uitzicht heeft. Advies om de oveanview kamer te boeken.

Good location, clean rooms with good air con and friendly staff
The fact they precharge you for your stay and then charge you again at check in is completely ridiculous and strange. Never had this before with any other hotel. Sometimes you get a holding amount but this is a very weird setup. They do refund the pre charge after a few days but the system makes no sense! Also spoke to many other guests who said the same. This needs sorting out!

The Ocean View King Suite room was amazing and worth every penny! Really felt like we were staying in paradise. The location is great, positioned on the waters edge, and is close to shops, cool sea terraced bars, and a 6 minute walk from the airport!
We wanted to set up a tab for drinks for the room, but this wasn't allowed, and the process to pay for drinks at the bar was a bit painful. Other than that we loved everything.

Tolle Terrasse direkt am Wasser, hin und wieder mit netter Musik. Die Betten waren klasse. Das Frühstück war lecker. Gute Lage, denn nur 10 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt aber trotzdem super ruhig.
Es gibt in der Küche nur wenige Tassen. Das Personal im Restaurant ist teilweise unmotiviert.

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet und auch auf dem Sonnendeck konnte man sehr gut Zeit verbringen.
Die Duschen haben leider fast gar nicht funktioniert, teilweise kam nur wenig bis gar kein Wasser.
Leider war auch das Personal am Empfang und im Restaurant sehr unfreundlich. Man musste sehr lange warten, wir wurden vergessen oder nur genervt angeschaut, wenn wir Bestellungen dort aufgegeben haben. Das passt leider gar nicht zu dem ansonsten sehr freundlichen und offenen Hostel Vibe.

Consiglio il ristorante, ottimo menu, cucina mista tipica Caribena con influenze e rivisitazioni.
La nostra camera da letto dava sull’oceano, un sogno. Luminosa, curata nei minimi dettagli.
Siamo stati a Bocas nei giorni dei blocchi e scontri di inizio novembre 2023. A causa dei disagi nei trasporti alcuni prodotti scarseggiavano in tutta l’isola ma lo staff è stato fantastico nel gestire la situazione facendo sì che noi ospiti ci accorgessimo al minimo della situazione.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Drei tolle Nächte in Zimmer 17 mit Blick auf das Wasser. Vom Balkon aus konnten wir sogar einen Rochen entdecken und Seesterne gibt es sowieso zu genügend zu sehen. Tolles Frühstück. Unsere Empfehlung: Oatmeal-Bowl mit frischen Früchten oder die riesigen Pancakes. Aber auch die Wraps und Burger sind sehr gut. Wir waren eine Woche auf Bocas und davon drei Nächte eben im Bambuda. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir selbst die Tage danach, auch obwohl wir keine Hotelgäste mehr waren, für ein Abendessen und einmal Frühstück zurück gekommen sind. Tolle Ausstattung. Riesiges Bett. Warmes Wasser in der Dusche. Sehr saubere Zimmer, tägliche Reinigung. Schön war für uns, dass dasHotel ein bisschen abseits des Trubels liegt, man jedoch in nur 5 Geh Minuten bei allen Lokalen sein kann.

AMBIENTE: Bastante agradable, areas comunes (restaurante/bar/lobby/cocina etc..)
BUNK BED: Sumamente comoda y con muchas comodidades (luz, cargadores, ventilador personal, cortina de privacidad)
CUARTO: Suficientemente amplio, Tiene lockers individuales amplios, y aire acondicionado en perfecto estado
UBICACION: Cerca del aeropuerto , y algo lejos del resto de la calle principal de bocas (pero nada que incomode, bocas town es bastante compacto y caminable)
BAÑO: Recomendaria que sacrificaran un cuarto por piso para hacer baños comunitarios por piso, el baño del cuarto no era utilizable la ducha cuando alguien usaba el lavamanos/inodoro, y por veces esto se siente bastante limitado e incomodo

This place was amazing! Its in a great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were delicious at the restaurant downstairs. Not a far walk to the main part of town where there are many restaurants, shops and the tax boat hub. It has an amazing patio/deck right on the ocean. We met many travels by just hang out out there! This place has such a great vibe. If you come across this place don’t even second guess yourself, this is the place to stay!! Common areas were very clean. We stayed in a private room and it was perfect, we had no complaints at all.

The amenities were very clean. The bed in the shared dorm was comfortable and had its own fan, plugs, lights and curtain for privacy. Staff was super nice and willing to help. And of course the location was amazing, on the water!
