Petit déjeuner extra tout est fait maison : le gâteau à la banane, confiture de papaye, le yaourt etc….

La chambre avec la terrasse vue mer. La terrasse très agréable ou nous avons pris le petit déjeuner .

Petit déjeuner traditionnel proposé pour 5 euros avec couscous sucré et beinets de banane, café de Fogo et jus frais . Très appréciable. Le jardin et le salon communs sont très appréciable, belle végétation et fleurs dans le jardin. Accompagnement par Max ( Très gentil veilleur de nuit) et une autre personne pour aller jusqu'au restaurant le soir de notre arrivée . Quartier agréable, avec échoppes et restaurants de grillades à deux pas. Loueur de voitures intercidades rent car pas loin à recommander également. La belle loggia de la chambre 2

De manière générale, le décor est simple dans les chambres, et manque de lampe de chevet et de lecture. Un plafonnier avec éclairage façon bloc opératoire ...Pas très cosy. Attention, la chambre 2, indiquée sur le site booking comme avec salle de bain privative/wc , n'a PASde salle de bain dans la chambre, mais une salle de douche sur le pallier avec toilettes. Nous avons gentiment mais vainement demandé à avoir une chambre AVEC salle de bain (comme prévu) et alors qu'une chambre ainsi équipée était libre ( à minuit ) sur le même pallier, cela nous a été refusé fermement, au téléphone , malgré l'aide des personnes présentes dans l'hôtel, qui ont tenté d'intercéder pour nous ( Merci Max). Nous avons été très déçus, puisque la chambre avec douche/wc est restée vide cette nuit là. C'est très rare qu'un professionnel de tourisme refuse une demande de changement de chambre pour des raisons acceptables et avec une disponibilité. Cela a été notre seule déception de tout notre voyage au cap vert. C'est dommage. Pour toute résa, précisez chambre 4, la 2 n'a pas de salle de bains/wc, la une est petite ( je ne sais pas si elle a des sanitaires ) la 3 a des sanitaires , mais donne sur un mur.

Groot en mooi balkon. Ruime badkamer met goede douche. Lekker Kaapverdiaans ontbijt in een leuke tuin.

Er kon alleen een groot fel licht aan. Koelkast maakte lawaai.

Gastvrij, schoon, heerlijk uitgangspunt voor een verblijf in Praia

we kwamen midden in de nacht aan maar werden direct naar onze kamer gebracht zonder al te veel gedoe. Leuk gelegen in een rustige straat. Mooie en vooral schone kamer, lekker lokaal ontbijt met heerlijke koffie in een prachtige tuin. Super vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Echt top!

Het lag wat verder van het 'touristen' vermaak af maar eigenlijk voor ons prima gelegen

Good value for money, but expect some discrepancies with the add

Very well located near the beach and several restaurants and small shops. The garden and breakfast area are really beautiful. Breakfast was very good and the staff generally friendly and willing to help

The bedroom, although nice and clean, was very small and not particularly beautiful. There was only a sliding door separating the bathroom, which was quite uncomfortable because it did not offer any privacy. The small fridge inside the room was useful, but very loud at night. The add is misleading in describing the room as having a private kitchen, a dining area, a washing machine and a patio, when in fact the kitchen and dining area are shared by all the hotel guests as well as the hotel staff, and there is actually no free-access washing machine (instead you are charged 10euros for hotel washing service)

Incroyable 🤩

Très jolie établissement. Nous avons eu un appartement très spacieux. Le personnel est absolument gentil, bienveillant ! Merci à Juelmina pour son accueil alors que nous avions du réserver au dernier moment , mais nous avons quand même été accueilli tres gentiment ! Encore merci à eux et au gardien car nous étions dans une situation compliqué et ils ont été extrêmement aidant et flexible !! Très bon petit déjeuner. Je recommande absolument 😍 merci !!

Herzliche Gastfreudschaft in gemütlicher Unterkunft

Der Empfang durch Juelmia war überaus herzlich. Sie ist uns während des Aufenthalts mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden, hat Transfers organisiert und ist mit vollem Einsatz für ihre Gäste da. Danke Juelmia! Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich mit einem prächtigen Garten. Unser Zimmer war klein und sauber. Auf die Sicherheit der Gäste wird grosser Wert gelegt. Gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Clean, close to beach, friendly staff

Clean room and the person who greeted us was super friendly. We had a past experience with this property with a snafu with checkin but based on this specific stay, things went smoothly and we had a positive experience. The room had a mini fridge that was convenient. We didn't get a chance to get breakfast since we had to check out early but the area where breakfast is served is beautiful and has a nice view. This property is a 10 min walk to Cabra Canela beach which is nice to hang out at and close to a cute bookstore/cafe that is about a 5 min walk.

For this stay we had no issues.

issue with the toilet, room smaller than i thought a lot of noise at night as we hear other guests very clearly , with rooms opening & closing many times during the night. I was a little bit disappointed compared to all the positive reviews I saw on Booking.com

Great stop over for the airport.

What you see is what you get! We had the centre room on the first floor at the rear of property, above the dining area. It was nice to have the balcony. The room had a large fridge. Note the private bathroom is across the corridor. We dined at a pizza place about 400m away. The (extra cost) breakfast was good. Cinthia was a lovely host and very helpful.

Comfortable guest house with lovely staff.

Pros - very helpful staff, the guard showed me where the supermarket, bank and restaurants were by taking me there- so kind and helpful. Cynthia was so helpful and chatty and helped me a lot for transport info and collecting my passport from an Embassy. I really appreciated the staff. The host arranged a taxi pick up which was perfect, Unfortunately he did not turn up for the return trip but the night guard helped me get a street taxi - again, he was helpful. Room (Double Room with Balcony and Sea View), has an external bathroom in the corridor, not ensuite, which is not mentioned but it was big and only for my room. It is described as "private" rather than non-ensuite. Air con and wifi was great and bed very comfy. The room was very clean and light filled. The garden is beautiful and the communal lounge area very stylish and comfortable. The private balcony to my room overlooked the garden/houses and had a lovely sea view. The price was good for the quality and I would stay here again.

The kitchen is a shared one for everyone, which was ok for me, but Booking.com describes it as "private" in the room info, so I was unsure if it was private to me and in the room. Afterwards I noticed the description as being shared right at the bottom of the page so I think better clarification would help. I walked into Plato, but some may find the distance a challenge and thus a taxi is needed. They are easy to obtain in the street. Otherwise a number 6 bus goes ever 30 mins from nearby to Plato for 45 escudos. Not the host's fault but there is a lot of incessant dog barking and cockerels crowing in the nearby streets until late - I used earplugs because of the noise.

Nice hotel and location and friendly staff, few things to improve

The breakfast and location were good. The staff friendly and available, Ibrahim showed us the nearest supermarket and restaurant when we asked. Kelly was very nice accepting to keep one of my luggage at the hotel during my travels around the islands. The kitchen with filtered water always available was very nice to have.

The bathroom outside the room was a bit uncomfortable. The taxi driver sent was too expensive (we paid way less in other occasions) and didn’t have change so this forced us to call him again on our way back to get the money he owed us. A little bit more of proactive information on the island and the surroundings would’ve been nice.

Nice setting

Airport pick up and drop off organized by the guest house was very bad - I would not recommend using them. At pick up the driver wasn’t there and took a while to arrive. We had an early morning flight home and firstly the driver turned up a day early and rang me at 5 in the morning waking me up. I had clearly said we needed pick up for the day after. Then on the correct day they were late and the communication was poor.

The staff was super friendly and they helpen me with all the questions I had. The room and bathroom where unbelievably clean and very comfortable. Also, the little garden is magical. thank you very much for the short but great stay!
