It looks just like the pictures! It was clean and smelled good. The giant refrigerator was perfect since we brought a lot of food with us. There was a lot of dining seating in one room so we weren’t separated. The fans on the porch are a nice touch. We appreciated all the towels and blankets so we had all we needed. The AC units in each bedroom made us all happy. We never found jumbo trash bags so that would have been good to have available or let us know to take with us. The bags we brought would not fit their trash bins. Same with a dish sponge, we assumed one would be available. The property manager was great and responded to all our questions quickly. We had a wonderful vacation and this house did not disappoint!

The house was everything we expected and more. There was generous sleeping space and the kitchen as well stocked. The great room in the barn area was perfect for our family to play games and enjoy each other‘s company. Loved the back porch and outside area! Would definitely stay in this property again!

We had our family Christmas there for the second year. It’s spacious and perfect for our large family ❤️

Heating and hot water tank were not working when we arrived. Hosts did respond promptly to our calls re these issues. They were handled the second day of our 4 night stay. Luckily the bedrooms had individual heaters but showers were cold or postponed the first morning.
No TV but a projector and large movie screen instead. But previous guests had (apparently) disconnected the projector from the computer and power to connect other devices instead (game equipment?) and changed the sound to a different channel. With the computer up against the wall, could not see these disconnections. The hosts could not help remotely, but told us about the previous guest family with kids and said OK to pull the desk the computer was on out from the wall to look. We were then able to reconnect the projector and set the amp to the right speakers and we were then good to go. Checking these things between guests would be helpful.
Last, a stain was found on a carpet in one bedroom after our departure that the hosts said had a chemical smell, like iodine. Took me a while to confirm that one guest (adult male) who was traveling after our gathering, was the one who used that room. He confirmed he had nothing like that in the room. Given the makeup of the previous guests with kids, suspect that stain was not noticed by cleaners between guests.
Pretty setting. Good for larger gathering but only 2 of five baths are on level with 6 bedrooms. 3 on main floor with one bedroom. Good for an event.

We stayed at the property for our annual family trip. The barn had plenty of space for everyone, very clean, quiet and just what we needed. It was perfect!

Excellent place - lots of rooms, plenty of hang out areas, just fantastic. It was my family, my aunt and uncle and their families, my parents, my siblings and their families - it was awesome! Great weekend!

We had a wonderful time! It was great to find a property that was able to sleep 23 family members with plenty of bathrooms! A bonus was that it was located within two and a half hours for the majority of us! The kids and teens had so much fun playing pool, ping pong, and hide and seek!

This beautiful home is removed from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Set back off the grid (literally) it was an excellent escape for our family to spend time together just visiting and playing games. I would recommend this place for any large family getaway that you are planning - it has everything you need!

We booked this property for a work retreat of a little under 20 people, and it could not have worked out better! The pictures didn't do it justice, the space was amazing. Everything was clean and updated, with everything in the kitchen that we would need, and tons of counterspace and food storage. We wanted a place where we could hang out and chill, but also a place where we could do team building activities and hang as a whole group together, and the house worked PERFECTLY for that! So much room + seating, the dining area was great, the recreation room had a projector and lots of tech options to hook up for a presentation, but also able to stream or connect our devices to it as well. The amount of chairs and folding tables made it really easy to set up group activities with tons of space to spare. One of the best parts of this house was the outdoor space/ back patio, we played lots of card games on the deck back there, but also got to set up some outdoor games and hang around the bonfire!
The only thing I would add is that it does sleep a lot of people, but there are quite a few pull-out couches that might not be the most comfortable/ don't have bedding, so we had people bring air mattresses- but there was plenty of space for that without it crowding the common areas.
Overall- I would absolutely book this again. It's also really close to Martin State Forest, where we went for a group hike and some breakout sessions. Tons of room for parking too and not as hard to get to as we were expecting! Our host was very responsive when we had a question about the wi-fi & followed up to ask about our stay.
Thank you for letting us stay- if you are looking for a spacious, versatile and accommodating group getaway- definitely book this place!

This was our 13th annual family fall weekend. Everyone who walked through the door was so very impressed at first sight. This property is by far the best we have ever rented. It was spacious and clean. We almost had too much room but because of the burn ban, we stayed in more than we usually would and enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, and watching movies on the big screen. We enjoyed hiking, picking wildflowers, carving pumpkins, and evenings on the porch. We enjoyed a sit down "thanksgiving dinner" with the whole family dining together in the dining room. There were only positive comments about the property and we will most likely return next year.
I would highly recommend for a large group....well worth the money.

We spent the long weekend with the uncles and nephews and friends. The house was perfect for all of us! Plenty of room for all 17 of us. The views were great and enjoyed spending time by the fire pit and watching football in the large game room! Would highly recommend this place!

Family Weekend (parents-siblings and our kids)
Very secluded with a beautiful view. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The common areas were spacious with plenty of activities within the space. Our weekend ended up being very rainy, however the covered porch and indoor activities kept us busy. The oversized kitchen and cooking area with seating for our whole group of 20 was perfect. Refrigerator was a double and there is a small freezer. The house is full stocked. Just bring yourselves.

Great Family Getaway
This house was perfect for our annual family reunion… 13 people . Plenty of room, amenities were great and just as stated. The pictures really don’t do it justice- the woodwork throughout is gorgeous! Location is very secluded with great views. James was attentive and checking in/out was easy.

Perfect place for any group
We had an amazing time. We were 5 families wit children 5-9 years old. This spot was perfect for us. You have an incredible amount of space indoors and outdoors. It’s perfect for the children to play and the adults to have time for themselves as everything is so safe too. The entire house is very well equipped and just has all that you need. We plan to come again!
