Completely renovated and decorated with taste and attention to details, this charming apartment is located on the second floor with elevator of a prestigious Florentine building in the exclusive area of the luxury district. This apartment can accommodate up to six people thanks to its 2 bedrooms, both with a kingsize bed. (NB the upstairs bedroom has a low ceiling).
The entrance opens onto a bright living room, where the dining table and the double sofa bed is, and a newly renovated and fully equipped cooking area with Nespresso machine ; a wonderful and very spacious outdoor living space offers a breathtaking view of Florence: ideal spot to enjoy an aperitivo and a dinner in the evening, have breakfast in the morning, or just sit back, relax and fully take in the beauty of Florence's rooftop and monuments view.

All bedrooms have been decorated with style down to the very last detail, and offer a comfortable and very bright living space thanks to the large windows. Each room of the apartment has independent air-conditioning and double glazed windows to reduce noise and help with temperature control. There are 2 full bathrooms, both with shower and a washing machine complete the picture for the perfect holiday rental in Florence.

The building has a centralised Eco-friendly Air Condition System, the room temperature won't go below 22/23 degrees.

This property has very few positives. Pros - Location Cons - The property says it is 2 bedroom and in the description says 3 bedrooms. It is a 1 bedroom. It has a platform above the kitchen that is a little less than 5 feet tall that they are calling a bedroom. It is fully open. My daughter that stayed in the platform is 5’10”. The property listed a washing machine when I booked. That has since been removed, but it still says washing machine in the description. The washing machine is there but has not been working for some time as it has a sign on top that was once white and red and is now yellowed from time. The property says it has air conditioning. It does have air conditioning units but those do not work. The room never got below 28 C. They know it doesn’t work because the place has 6 fans and a portable air conditioner that is useless because it doesn’t have the exhaust duct. The most inexcusable was the lack of a wine corkscrew.. We are in Italy! Who is not having wine?

No air conditioning and no response from boat, my family and friends and I all became sick from the heat exhaustion, this is dangerous in July and August. The unit was almost 30 Celsius inside!! No response from the host. If give it 0 stars if possible due to this. If the AC worked this would be 5 star. Also no washer dryer working either.

It is a great place in a fantastic location. Emi who checked us in was wonderful!! It was our second time staying there. It was hot with the AC not working but we used the fans. We stayed busy and loved our time in Florence!

Location was great ! The air conditioner was out and it was unbearably hot. The washing machine was out of order( one of the main reasons we chose) they informed of these issues the day we checked in after having booked many months in advance . The out door area was filthy and needed to be hosed down and the cushions were too dirty to sit on. I asked if they could send someone to clean it and they wanted me to send pictures like they didn’t believe me and I had nothing better to do in Florence than complain . We left after 3 of our 5 nights we had booked . The couch and kitchen stools are old stained sand should be replaced and there were ants in the apartment . I know I didn’t book a 5 star accommodation but it was very disappointing

The apartment was clean and lovely. The best part is the outdoor space. Second bedroom is a loft with a low ceiling but the bed was comfortable and worked well for our group. The air conditioning did not seem to work. The only downfall was that the overall communication with “SWEETSTAY” was poor. The fellow who met us to check in was great but leading up the trip and while we were there, response time was less than ideal.

When we checked in, the apartment had not been cleaned yet and smelled like the garbage that had been left behind by the previous renters. Housekeeping arrived shortly after and needed another 2-2.5 hours to clean the unit. It was obvious that the comforter is rarely washed as it was filthy. We pulled some blankets out of the closet to see if they were any cleaner and a cork fell out of them. The couch was so dirty we didn’t dare sit on it. And yes, the washing machine is still broken and has been for quite some time despite the listing advertising one. The location doesn’t get any better, but for what we paid for this apartment I expected more professionalism and honesty.

We had a wonderful stay, clean, comfortable- and a can’t beat location. The only thing that I would change is the stools in the kitchen, they lower by themselves constantly. All in all we were very pleased with our stay.

The property listing said 2 BR, AC, and washing machine! It is a one bedroom with small loft. You cannot stand up in the loft and the mattress is on the floor. We were told at check-in that the washing machine did work - even though there was a sign that said it didn’t. We started a load and it flooded the apt. The property manager never responded about the flooding. Had to use our only towels to mop up water. And our clothes were stuck in the machine. The apt was hot and were told at check in they would have someone come check on it. The guy that came two days later to get our clothes out of the washer said the AC in the building had not been turned on for the season and there was nothing we could do. Also no microwave. The property was not as advertised. The only thing good about apt was location and the outdoor space.

The place is great, good location. Very clean. Only downside is the main bathroom is quite tight. (I think the listing said 4 bathrooms?) there are only 2 (which I knew, so not sure if the listing recently changed?), laundry was not working and the listing company was not communicative at all. I actually called Vrbo because I thought we were getting scammed. Didn’t get check in info until a few hours before we checked in. I did owe them a payment (my credit card # changed), but that was not communicated at all either until after I was in contact with Vrbo. In the end it worked out, patio was great, place nice, actual check in guy was very nice, but it was concerning not having a response from rental company for 24 hours.

This property was neat, clean, within walking distance of tons of shops, restaurants, bars and attractions, including The Duomo and the statue of David museum. The veranda is huge, on the third level of the building well above the crowds on street level - a perfect place to relax after exploring he beautiful city.

My husband and I stayed in Florence during our tour of Italy. The apartment was clean, comfortable and suited our needs. The location is ideal - especially close to the train station and in the heart of the city. We enjoyed the rooftop deck. As others mentioned, it does get loud but we expected this and were fine with the street noise. It didn't bother our sleep. Our only recommendation would be to improve the air conditioning. It was hot when we stayed in September. Overall, I would recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay overall. Highlight was the shower! The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable. It gets really loud at night up until midnight. Lots of street noise. We noticed some of the check in description and italian tax information weren’t correct. We were told earliest we could check in was 4.30pm (listing says check in starts at 2pm!) and italian city tax was 5.5 euros per night vs 4 euros as disclosed at the listing.

We had a fabulous stay in Giglio15 in Florence. It was located very centrally & a 3 minute walk from the main train station & easy walk to all attractions. The apartment itself was lovely & nicely appointed. Beds very comfortable. There was a small lift to the apartment which worked well. Unfortunately, it was particularly hot in Florence the week we were there & we couldn’t use the outdoor terrace much. The air conditioning could also be improved particularly in the main bedroom. We would have loved a few extras such as pump packs of body wash, shampoo & conditioners in the bathrooms. Overall a great stay.

Fabulous apartment in a great location. Clean, compact, comfortable and right in the heart of Florence. The terrace with lovely views of San Lorenzo is such a rarity in Florence and the perfect place for an aperitivo or coffee. Restaurants and bars are literally on the doorstep. Really excellent communication and check in process. Highly recommended.

This apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of Florence and close to everything, including historic sites, restaurants, shops, and the train station. It is tastefully appointed and has everything our family of 4 needed for our stay. The host was very responsive to all of our requests/questions. The outdoor space was an added bonus that we really enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice apartment with a large outdoor patio in a great location. The air conditioning did not work that well but it was very hot outside and it could be that the air conditioning could not keep up. Easy staff to work with and very helpful. Great value too.

I still cannot believe I had to negotiate to receive more towels and that the person helping me acted annoyed that we needed help finding the unit. For the price of the rental the customer service should be better. Not sure I will rent from Sweetstay again.

This apartment is as described in the listing. If you like a more modern feel this apartment is perfect. The only complaint I have is the noise. The apartment is directly above restaurants and a crowded street. Unfortunately, we were not able to sleep well during our stay.

This stay was perfect for a friend trip to Florence! There was a group of 5 of us & we had the best stay here! The location couldn't be more perfect! There is also a parking garage right outside of the apartment which is incredibly convenient for those driving!

The main assets of this apartment are the location (very central and walkable everywhere) and the outdoor patio, which we could not use because we visited in winter. The living room space can basically accommodate two adults, period. Space is tight overall. Everything is newly renovated and the beds are comfortable but if you cannot use the patio we think you'd be better off elsewhere. Also, stocking of some supplies is stingy. Management is not always responsive.

Overall loved this place. Didn’t care for the main bed as it’s a king with 2 twin beds pushed together. The bed constantly separated and created a hole in the middle. Would be 5 stars with a real king.

The property managers were amazing and great at communicating. Coming from the US the payment process and a few other things that were required are not completed through the VRBO app. The process was not difficult, but it was just not what I am used to when renting in the US. The property was very clean. The balcony was amazing to have, and we really enjoyed our stay.

This apartment is centrally located and a great spot to stay. Close to the train and tram stops!!!! The beds were super comfortable although the loft area with one bed has a low ceiling. Only bumped my head once but my 5’1” wife had no problem. They had a supplemental AC unit as it was about 100F outside so that was great to cool the apartment. It wasn’t working when we arrived but after moving it around we noticed water on the ground. We ended up pulling the drain plug and emptied the water. After that it worked great. We would stay here again for sure :)
