About this house rental
This sweet little house has all the charm you'd expect from Loveland, the Sweetheart City. Perfect for 1 or 2 people to have a relaxing intimate experience. The house is 1950’s retro inspired, but with modern and mid-century modern elements, for an eclectic and cozy vibe.
It’s also in Downtown Loveland, so within walking distance of bars, restaurants, coffee shops etc - but just off the beaten path, so when you’re in the house or yard, it’s quiet and serene. There is a neighborhood bar across the alley. 98% of the time, it's quiet. But you may occasionally hear a conversation from over there or a motorcycle coming through the alley.
The Sanctuary is furnished with antiques and retro items from years gone by, with a nod toward the clean lines of Mid-Century Modern styling. Silky soft linens ensure that the bedroom is truly an oasis. However, step outside the yard and you'll find bars, restaurants and shops within a short walk (or bike ride!) The vintage tandem bike is available for you! Helmets, lights and bike lock are provided. Hot tub is available year-round.
This little house has retro and vintage styling, with the bedroom having the peaceful feel of the Mid-century modern aesthetic. There are lots of little luxuries like silky sheets, plushy soft towels, a Nespresso espresso maker with variety of pods and a milk frother!
The shaded backyard includes a hammock and dining table with fire pit, for day or night enjoyment! You're downtown, but it's a peaceful and quiet retreat.

The home was beautiful and has been kept up with nicely. The location was great, we were not there over a weekend, but the nearby bar seemed to get quiet by 10pm, so no worries about the noise. A couple bits of info for a next visitor, we are tall (5'9" and 6'3") the shower was great! Lightfixtures posed a hazard, so pay attention! The landscaping in the front I am sure is beautiful in bloom, but it was a chore at times to keep my curious pups from getting lost and away from the grapevine. If I were to book again, I would pack a small portable baby gate to put on the porch to keep curious pups in the back so you can enjoy the firepit and hot tub 😉

We stayed here the weekend we got married at the McCreery House. The host was very responsive and even let us check in a little early so we could settle in before our rehearsal. The house was adorable and we really enjoyed our stay here.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Sanctuary. An absolutely adorable home within a VERY short, less than 3 min, walk to downtown Loveland and a beautiful park nearby. The location was quite and in a great historic neighborhood with just the right size backyard to enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktail after a day of exploring. Great coffee place just down the street. The Sanctuary had all we needed and more and Christina was the most gracious and attentive host. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the Rocky Mountains.

Enjoyed a long weekend at the cottage which is adorable, surrounded by beautiful gardens and has a lovely enclosed yard with a hot tub for relaxation. The hammock in the yard is perfect for lying in to admire the large trees overhead. The house is a brief stroll from all the restaurants and shops of Loveland. If looking for a relaxing weekend getaway, I recommend staying at the Sweetheart Sanctuary.

We were attending our Grandson's graduation. Location was convenient for getting to FOCO and walkable for morning coffee and our last night dinner at Henry's Pub.

My wife and I stayed here for our 3 year anniversary. It was fantastic. Communication with the owners was clear and easy. The house was everything as advertised, and then some. Beautiful Downtown Loveland was right around the corner and walking distance to anything and everything you might need. The hot tub was a wonderful treat after a day exploring the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re coming to Loveland!

The house was so cute. It was very clean and was exactly like the online listing pictures. The backyard was small and perfect for sitting outside in the nice Colorado weather. It was just a block from downtown where we enjoyed shops and restaurants. There is private parking for the home which was great. We really enjoyed our stay! I would definitely recommend this home!

The property was great. We were looking for something pet friendly and this was perfect! The bed was very comfortable and having a full kitchen was a plus. The only downside was the outdoor propane grill. It was dirty and unusable.

This property was a very nice quick get away for my husband and I and our rag doll Sadie! We all enjoyed the much needed rest with a twist with Al of the antique furnishings. The king size bed was great and we had everything we needed there. Thanks again for the refresher.

Two weeks in Loveland
This property was perfect for my husband, our dog, and me as we relocated to Colorado from New England. The fenced yard was great for our dog and we enjoyed being so close to downtown Loveland with the many great restaurants and shops. Christina was an amazing host and I highly recommend staying here!

Cozy vintage
Loved everything about this cozy vintage house, especially the sitting room and all the natural light coming in! (This was the pups favorite spot too!)

Fantastic dog friendly home
We loved staying in this home! It was very clean and the vintage touches were very cute. The yard was adorable, and a great spot for our dog to sniff around. There was a parking spot out back as well. The area felt very safe, and although we didn’t explore a lot because we were just passing through it looked like there were cute restaurants and shops very close by. The host communicated with us very well. Overall a 10/10 stay and I would recommend to anybody.

Quirky and cozy
Perfect little place for one night, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The only concern was no A/C, so we were quite warm overnight (Christina said she’d address this). Loved the sunroom for a morning coffee, and there’s lots of charm in the details. Thanks!
