Overall, disappointed with this place. Cleaning crew left dust bunnies and cobwebs throughout the home. Additionally one of the showers did not have functional hot water. Also, the fire places were left I cleaned after being used prior to my arrival. There is also a warped floor in one of the rooms as well. The home is big and is nicely decorated. Had a nice view of the mountains. Beds were made and they had soap and shampoo in each of the bathrooms as well as clean towels to use. The home is. If and was nice

The house is a great size for large groups and had comfortable sleeping arrangements and a beautiful property. The listing boasts that it has a chefs dream kitchen. We hired a chef to come the night and when they turned the oven on it immediately caught fire due to not having been cleaned (we later saw some type of spill all along the inside). We ran to get a fire extinguisher and it was completely empty. We had to shut it down and suffocate it and luckily we got it out ourselves. We also noticed the oven door had white all along it which means this has definitely happened in the past (hence the empty extinguisher). This ruined our experience with the chef not only delaying the dinner and our nights plans, but also ruined the quality of the meal—and this was not an inexpensive ordeal (approx. $100/per person for a group of 16). Putting that aside, this was also a major safety hazard. The oven was then no longer able to be used after that and things needed to be rearranged in to much smaller trays in the smaller ovens, but again the cook times and such were ruined. The kitchen was our main reason for choosing this property over others for our size party and it ultimately didn’t deliver what was expected. Had no idea how to get in touch with a property manager — got an automated reply from Vacasa the one time I tried to reach out regarding check in so didn’t even know how to for this. Disappointed.

This beautiful house was the perfect location for my family and friends to come together in remembrance of our father who passed away. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone and small and large gathering places, inside and out.

We enjoyed the beautiful Hart House!! Our 4-star review is due to Vacasa's slow response to a safety situation. The back door from the kitchen to the back patio would not lock. I called Vacasa to report it at 7:45 pm. I was asked if the directions to operate the lock were near the door. I explained to the answering service this lock is different, but people in our party have one at their home. It is not operator error, it is a malfunction in the lock. I was told someone would be out within the hour. We waited 2 hours and no one showed up. I called at 9:50 p.m. to report no one had come out. The answering service read instructions to me on how to operate the lock. I reiterated there are people in our party that have this type of lock at their house. This is not a matter of operator error, it's a malfunction with the lock. The operator told me he has marked it "high priority - as if it were a fire". He said someone would be out right away. At midnight, no one had shown up, so we propped a chair up under the door handle and went to bed. The next day, when we returned from our scheduled outings, still no one had been out to fix the lock. So I called a different Vacasa number at 4 o'clock and finally someone arrived within the hour and fixed the lock. The maintenance guy was unaware of any phone calls reporting this the night before. He corrected the issue in a short period of time and was very personable. The rest of our stay was enjoyable and relaxing!

Our entire family LOVED this home! We have stayed in several vacation homes, and everyone (all 16 of us) would like to stay here again! We especially loved the view from the front porch, the lovely landscaping, and abundant room to spread out. The kitchen was great, with multiple ovens. My 12-year-old granddaughter pronounced Hart House perfect.

Good Space for Large group

Waze directions were a bit inaccurate, so some better directions to get to property once in estate would be helpful. Home was beautiful and clean, a little wear and tear here and there, but you'll have that with an older home that's being used for a vacation rental. Water pressure in some of the showers was not great, and twin beds in the bonus room were quite small, didn't seem quite the size of an actual twin bed. Regardless, everyone had a great time and enjoyed this space. We had 11 people for three days and spent the majority of our time in the home. We had meetings, and all but one meal there. The kitchen supplies could use a look through, as not all items you thought would be there were there, but we made do easily. Was pleased to find that there were coffee filters on site as well as some spices and kitchen pantry staples like flour, salt, pepper, etc. All in all, this home was great for what we were needing. The ping pong table was damaged and left out in garage upon arrival, but we let the property company know, and were able to move it out of the way, to use garage space, we had no plans to use the equipment anyway. Property management company was quick to respond (used the text feature available to guest), and even offered to send someone out to fix it. We told them no need to do that, we just wanted it notated that it was in that shape upon arrival so we would not be charged. Could benefit from better internet/wifi service.
