The pick up service from Carral was good as the hotel is located off the Camino Ingles and unfortunately Hospital de Bruma was full.
The room was clean and bed comfortable.
The room I was in although quiet at the back of the hotel it was above the restaurant kitchen and the smell of cooking and frying was not pleasant. The walls of the room are very thin you can hear other guests talking etc.
The restaurant was ridiculously expensive for the quality of food served and the service was appalling - if going to charge such prices then should provide a decent service.

There are few properties to choose from in this area so the location is top notch. The bathroom was sparkling clean.
The floors of our room needed a good sweep.

An excellent option if walking the Camino Ingles. The section from Hospital de Bruma to Sigueiro has few accommodation options if you want to break up this 25km. walk. We stayed at Hotel Canaima for two nights. Walked to cafe O Cruceiro at A Calle without our backpacks and our host arranged a taxi to pick us up for the return to the hotel. He then arranged for the taxi to return us to A Calle the next morning. (€13.00). All meals available at the hotel I including breakfast from 7.00.

After finishing the Camino for the day, I had a bath to soak in.
Candy at the front desk.
Hotel picked us up gratis from nearby tavern.
Very economical stay.
Sometimes, you get what you pay for.

got to sleep in a room on my own after staying in hostels. good chance to do laundry. they wash your clothes for you at a reasonable price. their restaurant was not good at all. The room was kind of remodeled cheaply
too far from the Camino

they did a pick up from the camino as they’re a wee bit off the route, the car was there in a couple of minutes. they laundered clothes for just 6 euros. excellent service for pilgrims. the menu set course lunch was also very good value.

convenient for the Camino - brilliant laundry service
lack of aircon

The room is comfortable, and bed is good. There is a small bath tub, which is wonderful.
The bathroom does have a strong sewage smell, and leaving the bathroom window open helped.

The hotel provided pick up for pilgrims from Hospital de Bruma. The welcoming waitress in the restaurant and behind the bar.
There were no signs asking for quiet after certain times, which meant a big loud group on the floor above kept everyone awake for hours.

East access to the Camino. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great food and services. Ramon and his wife were great.
The phone number on Booking does not correspond to the hotel but rather the adjoins gas station (same owner). To contact the hotel it’s best to use their WhatsAlp number

Staff was excellent! They have a restaurant and bar in house! if you are doing el camino its slightly off the road but its very easy to get back on track the next day.
