Very modern and well located accommodation. We slept with the window open and could hear the nearby stream throughout the night. Great stop on the Camino

Limpieza, comodidad. En plena ruta francesa del camino de Santiago. La pareja que lo gestiona es muy amable. Puedes comer, cenar o tomar una cerveza allí mismo

Vynikající snídaně i večeře, velmi útulné pokoje a příjemné prostředí. Personál je velmi milý a snaží se vyhovět přáním jejich hostů.
Překvapily mě ceny při odjezdu :D

Beautiful location in a valley near a stream (even a full rainbow the next morning). Very accommodating for a group of 17 beginning - our beginning point for the Camino. Very easy to work with for plans before hand and when we arrived. Great dinner meal and breakfast!! Clean rooms with a lot of character.

The owners/managers (father and son?) were so incredibly nice and welcoming. The father showed me how to use the hiking sticks I bought there. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. The shower was really nice.
Nothing springs to mind!

Very clean, generous assortment of toiletries. Nice decor.
Staff seemed disinterested and were not forthcoming with information about services available, including restaurant times for meals. So I ate at the next door restaurant who were very welcoming.
Room was meant to have "mountain views," but instead, my room looked into the neighbors yard at eye level, which was awkward.

Clean. Right on the Camino. Good value. Hostess at dinner was very welcoming and responsive. Dinner was excellent.
Construction all around the place made it feel less welcoming. While Las Herrerias is a good stop if you don’t want to finish the day with the climb to O’Cebreiro, it is one of the less appealing rural small towns along the Camino. No buildings of historical interest and the picnic areas along the river are not appealing.

I don't want to offend people from Las Herrerías - but, this is a very special seudo place. I arrived relatively late in the day - had a very good dinner (ate at the hostal's restaurant) and the breakfast was also very good. It is super important to have a good night - so that you can take the next very hard trip over the mountain pass on the Camino. I can recommend the place.

The room was beautiful. We loved sitting out on the balcony. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

It was very modern, comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would have stayed again on our return journey but changed our travel plans and dates
A little disappointed not to have had the room with a balcony that we booked.

The staff at La Pandela were lovely upon check-in and I wish I could have had more interaction with them. The toiletries offered were of a superior quality, there was a drying rack for hand washing, which I really appreciated since I was walking the Camino. The whole place was very clean, the bed comfortable and I appreciated having a screen on the window. The room was good value for 38 Euros. I would stay there again, but would choose a different room and definitely bring a sleeping mask.
The Standard Queen Room was quite nice, clean, and good value in this small pueblo, but had a few "flaws" that detracted from it's overall comfort.
The room is described as having a "mountain view" and there was a small shred of mountain visible from the window. However the external stairs to the upper floor rooms ran directly outside the window, so other patrons walked by to access their accommodation. Consequently, one couldn't lie on the bed to admire the "mountain view" without a passerby looking in the window to admire them. I had to keep the blind closed the entire time.
The other thing that detracted was the night-time security light: it was above the door, VERY bright and directly in line with the head of the bed. A sleeping mask would have helped immensely but I did not have one, and was woken many many times when I turned in the direction of the light.
I stayed on Espana day, and the La Pandela restaurant/bar was closed. No food was available in the pueblo because the restaurant in the albergue next door and the restaurant in the hotel up the hill had signs up reading that they would not serve food to anyone who was not staying there. I went hungry that night.
