Off the beaten path, private location, right on the bay. We enjoyed the clean house with modern decor and fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful view, awesome fire pit and great kayaking. About 40 min from Acadia National Park.
Would definitely book this property again!

We had such an amazing stay! It was clean, quiet, and just as described. The house made a great base for visiting Acadia and just relaxing and enjoying nature.

Amazing view of the water, very nice and clean house.

The house and the property itself was picture perfect. The home was very clean, tidy and inviting. Not overly cluttered and tastefully decorated. Bedrooms were of nice size and comfortable. The kitchen was open and easy to cook in. The living space is huge, spacious with the coastal feel. But the screened in porch with the view to die for… that is the selling point. Every morning started with sunrises and coffee and every evening ended with unforgettable sunsets and drinks. Perfect way end the day.
The day we arrived, Sullivan was experiencing an unusual heatwave that would stay with us for the duration of our trip. It was 80 degrees in the house that first night and little fans were not going to get us cooled down or the house for that matter. After contacting the owner and explaining how uncomfortable it was in the house he quickly got the property manager get us AC window units for each bedrooms and the living area. We were so incredibly grateful! It was needed to actually be able to stay there. Not a bad drive to Bar Harbor and down the road is a cute little ice shop that we frequent a lot along with the Dollar General to get any last minute essentials.
We would 100% stay in this little hideway again… but not without a washer/dryer combo. When staying an actual week long trip with kids a washer and dryer is a must and for the price that anyone would pay to stay as long as we did that is something that should available.
I highly recommend this little slice of heaven!

We had a lovely stay on Taunton Bay! The house has a beautiful location on the water with gorgeous views from multiple rooms. The property is very private and it was a special bonus to be able to use the kayaks provided. The hosts provided smooth communication throughout. We hope to return in the future!

Our reservation was canceled due to no electricity in the area. A notification to review the stay continued to come in despite us not actually staying at this property.

Overall the place was nice. We didn’t get a chance to kayak, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our dinners there. The bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, which was concerning. The directions could also have been more descriptive, we got there after dark and had trouble finding the place.

It was a quaint place

The house was very clean. The view from the screened-in porch was amazing.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this property. The house itself had a fairly large kitchen with plenty of counter space. There was plenty of room for our family of six in general and the bedrooms were a good size. The grounds are particularly beautiful with a wonderful view of the bay. Because of all the trees surrounding the property it felt very private. Our favorite place in the home to hang out was the porch, admiring that view comfortably.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (family of 4- 2 adults + 2 older kids) at this charming "Maine camp". The house was clean upon arrival, beautifully decorated, well stocked with cooking supplies, and in a beautiful setting!

The property was excellent, very peaceful. The sunsets from the enclosed porch were spectacular. The home was everything that we were hoping for. Relaxation was the objective and this property did not disappoint.

My husband and I stayed at this location on Taunton Bay for my 40th birthday along with my best friend and her husband. The house was just as described and met all of our needs for the trip. Bar harbor and Acadia National Park were about 45 mins away with traffic. We spent the day in Acadia and the afternoons by the campfire on the water. We saw a bald eagle fly to its nest across the water. We also had 2 separate visits from a harbor seal right in front of our campfire. On our last morning on the way to the airport, we saw a baby moose cross the road right in front of us. The scenery alone made this trip amazing, but seeing all of the local wildlife right by the house was the kicker! I would definitely stay at this location again and again!

I needed a few days downtime and really enjoyed the scenery, the accommodations and had really found some necessary quiet time. Thank you!

My friends and I booked this property to attend a wedding in Sullivan. Everyone was impressed with the house, the decor, the views overlooking the water. It was a perfect weekend getaway. The stairs to the water can be a little tricky but there is a nice roundabout path down as well. Place has other houses around but you wouldn’t know it. Would definitely recommend.

The house was in a great location but there were some issues. The code did not work on the door initially. The back door and garage door leading in to the house were left open was a little disconcerting when arriving after dark. The house was not cleaned well. Empty Gatorade bottle on the counter, dishwasher was already full of dishes, and hair on the floor.

We recommend staying on this property if you like some quiet space. It was so special to have a beautiful retreat to come back to at the end of a busy day. It was well stocked and everything was just as they advertised.

Clean and charming home with beautiful views right on the water. Very comfortable and inviting. It had a lot of amenities that made you feel very at home. Also lots of seating for our large group of 7 adults. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and spices. Great windowed porch that looked on the water. Kids/young adults kayaked and fished. We also had a bonfire each night. Highly recommend!

Nice place and accurate listing. However, beds were as hard as a rock so I can’t give it 5 stars.
