This house was perfect for 10 adults. Plenty of room to spread out. All 5 of the adult children hung out downstairs and they had plenty if beds. The house was appointed with everything needed to make the stay comfortable including a well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. The only negative is it’s about 20-25 minutes from any restaurants, stores or activities. If you don’t mind being a bit off the beaten path and winding roads, this house is perfect.

Loved that no TV was in great room/kitchen. Allowed for conversation on that level. Saw plenty of wildlife. Bathrooms great. Light under microwave needs replacing.

Property was located in a beautiful setting in Banner Elk NC, with the wrap around decks giving great views of the mountains. Kitchen was perfect, and beds super comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless. I would rent here again.

Family came down from Ohio to Celebrate Daughter’s graduation from App State. We had plenty of room for 11 people. House was very well stocked with Kitchen utensils and cook where. Anything you needed was there. I forgot my Crock pot and was going to go buy one, they had it at the cabin. I would suggest to bring some TP with you and Paper towels, and Trash bags. We used the indoor fire place to take off the chill, and we loved sitting around the outdoor fire pit as well. Great place to stay!!

The house and area was beautiful.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The house has plenty of room to spread out and the rooms downstairs give the kiddos plenty of their space so we could have adult time upstairs. The house was very clean, however two of the fitted sheets on two of the beds had large stains on them. We spoke with the team that manages the property and they swiftly took care of the issue. This property is 5*

We rented this house for 10 of us to have a long girls weekend. The house was set up perfectly with lots of room. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked which worked well for us as we like to cook in most nights. The house may feel remote but it was an easy drive to banner elk and other locations. We loved Grandfather Vineyard for those looking for a day outing.

We love this place. Very secluded. And the only thing I would think it was missing was a hot tub.
Also, I would like a TV on the main floor. Instead of having to go to basement to watch TV.
Thank you for a great stay!

Honestly I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Our 2 families found the layout perfect. Morning walks down the road to the creek, afternoons spent relaxing on the porch, evenings grilling outside by the fire pit while playing cornhole. Location was also good for us as we enjoyed Grandfather mountain, the alpine rollercoaster, and dining in Banner Elk, all nearby. Clearly a lot of thought went into this home and making it convenient for travelers. The drive up to the home was steep, but honestly it’s no steeper than anywhere else in this area you’ll be driving. We would definitely recommend this place.

Clearly a lot of thought went into preparing this home for guests and it paid off. Everything was clean and organized, and we found it a perfect space and set-up for 2 families. We spent mornings walking down the road to the creek, afternoons relaxing on the porch grilling, and evenings by the fire pit playing cornhole. The location was convenient to Grandfather mountain, the alpine coaster, and dining in Banner Elk. The road to the home is steep but honestly no steeper than any other road around. We would definitely recommend this home.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our recent trip. The house was gorgeous and suited our needs perfectly. It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and then some. The numbered baskets with towels and bathroom supplies was so helpful, and the collection of games and air hockey table was enjoyed by all. My family is already asking when we can go back.

We loved everything about this house. Clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy! The kitchen is well stocked and organized. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the guests need to take their trash with them. We were surprised by that request.
