This house was perfect for our end of the summer vacation. The pool was great and the house was very clean and just what was advertised.

We were in town for two nights and enjoyed this quiet, clean property. The pool felt amazing after being in the heat all day! The flowers smelled amazing, too! Beds were comfortable, AC worked great, and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and coffee supplies.
The owner was great at communicating with us and keeping us informed on anything we needed.
We would stay again!

Overall experience was satisfying. Home was spacious, mint condition. My family enjoyed the pool it was refreshing, clean and accessible. Host definitely made it a great experience for all age groups. There were board and card games that were in stock at the home. My family loved it! Would book again.

First impression was an overgrown jungle with horrible curb appeal- the home was not visible from all the overgrown plants and tree’s. As entering the home, it had a dingy musty smell in all rooms. Definitely needs more TLC, and updating. The kitchen was not a gourmet kitchen as described. Cupboards full of junk and very unorganized. Found dirty dishes sitting in the cupboards, and one decent size pan to cook with was rusted.Did have a nice fridge and dishwasher, also stove was decent- No cleaning supplies to wipe down counters or stove. Beds were uncomfortable with comforters old and torn. Did not accommodate 6 guests as stated- only four at best. Decor masks throughout the home were disturbing for my grandchildren. Also, the pool was never used because it was dirty with lots of debris. Owner said that someone was scheduled for maintenance on the pool, but that did not happen.

I received instructions on how to get in the house on the morning of our stay. The property is exactly as listed. The neighborhood was great. Lots of people out walking, a park just down the block. My grandkids got in the pool even though the water was cold. They loved it. I got quick responses when asking questions. The host also gave great restaurant recommendations. We would stay here again!

From the moment we arrived at this enchanting tiki hut-inspired bungalow for our Valentine's Day getaway, we knew we had stumbled upon something truly special. Nestled in the bustling heart of Dallas, Texas, this hidden gem provided us with the most unexpected and delightful escape we could have ever imagined.
The bungalow itself exudes a charming, cozy vibe that instantly made us feel at home, yet transported us to a tropical paradise miles away from the urban landscape surrounding us. The attention to detail in the design and decor, from the thatched roof to the vibrant, island-themed interiors, added to the immersive experience.
What truly set this retreat apart was the chef-inspired kitchen. As a couple who loves to cook together, we were overjoyed with the state-of-the-art appliances and the wide array of cooking tools available. Preparing meals together in such a well-equipped and inspiring setting was a joy. The kitchen became the heart of our romantic getaway, where we shared laughter, love, and culinary creations.
The outdoor spaces of this bungalow are nothing short of magical. The front yard, with its lush tropical plants and tranquil ambiance, offered the perfect setting for our morning coffees and quiet reflections. The backyard, however, was our personal slice of paradise. The pool area, surrounded by exotic flora, provided an idyllic backdrop for our days spent lounging in the sun, reading, an

Matthew was a very responsive host and the house was very comfortable. It would be great to stay here in the warmer months so as to take advantage of the back yard. My one suggestion would be to add some area rugs to warm up the place. :)

If you are looking for something other than a cookie-cutter house to stay in, I highly recommend this place! The house has interesting decor and details throughout, all consistent with the tiki hut theme. The backyard pool area makes you feel like you are in a tropical jungle (in a good way). The house was perfectly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Host was extremely responsive to questions. Convenient location--plenty of stores and restaurants within a 10 minute drive and took us about 15 minutes to get to downtown Dallas. All around a memorable stay!

We had a great stay at the Sunset Bungalow, the home is cozy and quirky but it was just what we needed and the price was right. The host is perhaps the best communicator I’ve dealt with. Always responds quickly, checks to see how the stay is going and if you need anything else, and even gets to know you a bit before your stay.

The home is quirky, but very cool. You definitely get the Beach Bungalow vibe! You can watch the moon flowers open, and in the morning, you can have your coffee by the pool. Its a nice size home large kitchen and living room.

It is clear how much effort has been put in to making this home a nice place to be. The pool is well maintained and the atmosphere in the backyard makes you feel like you’re in a secluded, tropical paradise. The tiki porch is a comfortable, shaded outdoor living room, and a nice place to do yoga. The kitchen is well equipped, and the grocery store is nearby. You can see the park and playground from the front steps. The neighborhood is great place to go for a walk, and everyone we encountered was friendly.
I traveled with my mother who is in her 70s, and my son who is a very active 7 year old, we were
all comfortable and happy.
When we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house, Matthew was quick to help us solve the problem.
We definitely plan to stay here again!
