Everything looked clean when we first arrived. However, we found that the shower on the main floor leaked. The ceiling fan in the main floor bedroom was ckaed in dust. The area rug by the slider covered a sopt in the floor that was damaged and then packing tape was put over it. The area rugs were filthy. I oicled one up to sweep up the floor and all of this gritty dirt fell out on the floor. I had to take them out and shake them. Ypu could hear the dirt fall to the ground off the back deck. The vaccuum was held together with black duct tape and could not suck up anything.Whatever detergent the bed sheets were washed in made me itch after two nights. The laundry soap is not really a huge thing because anyone can have a reaction, but the rest was not okay for us.

Our expectations are never very high when a place is dog friendly but this house was perfect. Great location, pretty views, appointed nicely for two families with a great kid area down stairs. The grill worked great firewood was provided for the fire pit which was a lovely surprise. It really was a wonderful house for us and our pups. We would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Close enough to everything around Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, but far enough out to be nice and quiet. The bed is one of the best we’ve ever slept in away from home.

My family was looking for a long weekend getaway and this place checked all our boxes. The layout couldn’t have been more perfect for us as my parents were able stay in the bedroom upstaits, and myself and my 2 teenagers took over the lower level. The property is beautiful and we especially enjoyed sitting on the covered porch at night and watching the sunset over the mountains. We were hoping to book the same house in the fall but unfortunately it was booked so we managed to find another house in the same community. It’s also super close to the grocery store and an easy drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We had a wonderful time!

Very nice place. We did have some issues with the TV in master bedroom as there were no batteries in the remote controls and no cables found to hook up to Direct TV reciever. We reported the issue and ticket was placed but items never received.

We loved the set up of this house for the best views. The porch was fantastic for all times of day and various weather we had. We brought a toddler and teenagers. This house was great for both. We appreciated a door that closes off the stairs if needed for small children. No other homes are in view when enjoying amenities outside the home. An hour after check out my son realized he left his ortho retainer. We contacted vacasa and they contacted the local management company. We returned to the property and someone met us so that we could retrieve it. We were so very thankful as we realize we could have been told this wasn't possible. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return later this year.

The home is in a quiet, beautiful area. It rained and was cool so we didn't use the hot tub or the fire pit. The house itself is fine to stay in for a week. We tripped on the step going into the dining room a couple of times and the ones down to the basement were a bit steep. It was a clean, safe, quiet place to stay. The deck is a great place to sit at night. The views are amazing. It is much better than staying in a hotel. I would recommend this house.

Overall, our stay went well and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. The location in relation to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock were great! The hot tub was nice, and the view was spectacular from the living room and balcony!
We didn’t feel the house was appropriately cleaned for the fees we paid. The house needs a nice deep clean in all areas and I personally cleaned the showers upon arrival to remove residue and mildew. Many of the dishes I pulled out of the cabinets to serve my family on needed to be cleaned prior to use. There were also rusted staples on the upstairs deck where netting was once attached and those were a concern with a toddler, even with very close supervision.
Overall, we had a nice time. The house could just use a little love to restore it back to what I’m sure it could be and once was!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was centrally located for our girls getaway. It had the right amount of beds and the deck is just what we needed for our get together. Very quiet neighborhood. The property itself needs to be updated a little. Overgrown bushes and weeds at front entrance. Deck could use a good power wash and scrub.

Overall we had a good stay here. None of the issues we had made our trip awful. There were a few strange things about the house — AC and some broken things — that did impact our enjoyment of the property.

Breathtaking view from this cabin of the mountains. Two fire pits, gas grill, very private and quiet in a gated community. We really enjoyed our week here at this cabin.

Great place if they had a thermostat in the basement
It had all the amenities mentioned in the home except the basement thermostat . it got very cold and we were unable to sleep . Unfortunately most of the beds are in the basement rather than the first floor . Apart from this it had all the amenities mentioned in the listing .
