The apartment was perfect for my elder parents. They only had a few steps to enter into their residence (and was perfect for the added privacy and being able to head to bed early). In addition to the apartment, we rented the house for our family, and my siblings (including their children). Since we were up at varied times, it gave my parents the peace and quiet they needed. As I stated in my house review, Douglas was immediately responsive to any questions and addressed any needs!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Location of apartment is awesome. Pros list: Walking distance to Ferry, town, Spring House, The Narraganset Inn, and most importantly - the ocean! Comfortable beds, pillows and linens, w/d in apartment which was so nice to have, nice porch w/ view of the water in the distance, well stocked kitchen, and cute relaxing patio area in the back of apartment for use as well. Yes, the layout is slightly awkward, but for a family or group visit, this apartment can accommodate 5+ pretty comfortably, so it wasn't a problem. The host Douglas was extremely responsive, which made check in very easy. Property manager on site was very helpful as well. Cons: coffee maker didn't work, the apartment could use an update on some furnishings. Couches were slipcovered and cushions were difficult to keep from slipping off the couches when sat on, so we were constantly having to fix them and re-tuck the slipcovers on them so they didn't always look so messy. Window blinds/and shades could also be updated, light bulbs in lamps were too bright! A little ambiance could go a long way in this adorable apartment. Overall - a wonderful and comfortable stay with a location you can't beat! My con's list are just things I believe would be helpful for the hosts for the future, but certainly didn't deter away from feeling comfortable and enjoying our time in the apartment and all around the island. I would highly recommend staying here, and would definitely stay again!

Had a great time, the apartment was neat and clean. The only issue was the pots and pans were terrible as we like to be able to prepare our own meals. I would suggest that you replace pots and pans.

We had the most amazing time at this apartment. To be honest I think the pictures don’t do it justice! It definitely is a little awkward with having to enter in through the bedroom with queen bed and then walk through the room with two twin (note there is no door between these two rooms which is a little odd but luckily the people staying in those rooms were close friends so it wasn’t awkward) but we made it work! The location definitely outweighs that minor awkwardness. It was a very easy walk down to water street and over to the Atlantic and Springhouse. We brought our car given we had a 18month so that required a ton of stuff for the beach but you could definitely make it work without a car given the location to town.
The apartment itself was well appointed and included tons of towels and beach towns as well as laundry which was a great surprise. The front porch was great for watching the sun rise and hanging out on. And the living room was generously sized. The property manager was super responsive to our questions and we felt very at home.
My only regret is that we only stayed one week! Could have spent all summer there! Definitely recommend this apartment. Was great for a family or two families with small kids.

Communication with Doug was a breeze. He and Justin, the property caretaker, were available for any questions we had. Check in couldn't have been easier. The apt feels comfortable and cozy with unfussy and functional furnishings ideal for family vacation. Lovely, nautical artwork decorates the walls. The delightful front porch with awesome ocean view was a surprise! The private, outdoor grilling/picnic area is perfect for summer dining. Other highlights my family enjoyed and appreciated were the very hot shower, the dishwasher, and the washer and dryer. Close proximity to, and an easy walk into, town add to the charm of this apt. It's a keeper and we would definitely stay again.

Very clean, great location and ocean views!! Owner was easy to contact. We had an issue with the AC and it was fixed within hours!! The set up of the apartment is a bit unique, but it worked fine for us. Will definitely be back!!

The landlord was very responsive to any of our requests or questions. The location of the property is very convenient. However, the apartment has poor ventilation and was stuffy and hot. We did get fans when we requested. Some windows did not open. There was a small ac window unit but it did not do much. Our feet were black from walking on the dirty floors. The shower door did not close. The refrigerator door did not shut properly. Overall the apartment was in disrepair and in need of some TLC.
