Welcome to The Retreat at Water's Edge! Brand new luxury cabin, less than two years old, on the banks of a stocked pond. Seclusion and privacy as the last house on the street without sacrificing the convenience of being minutes from the restaurants and activities of Hochatown. Come with family or friends to enjoy one of the few Broken Bow cabins actually on the water...

Fish or kayak (poles and kayaks provided), roast s'mores around the fire pit steps from the water (s'mores kit included), relax in the hot tub or in front of the fireplace/TV on the back deck, and be sure to never miss the beautiful sunsets over the pond. Watch all of this backyard fun while grilling on the deck or inside from the open living room and kitchen.

The interior features 20' vaulted ceilings with two walls of windows (east facing for sunrises and west-facing for sunsets) and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. There are two master suites with king-sized beds, both with small private decks perfect for morning coffee. One of the master bathrooms has a large soaking tub and huge shower with double heads. The third bedroom (bunk room) can sleep up to 6 (2 twins + 1 full triple bunks and sofa sleeper) and is ideal for kids with an arcade console of over 400 old-school games.

My husband & I stayed, along with our daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter. House was clean & well stocked. Roads were really rough getting there. Pond was extremely mossy but that's Oklahoma in August so understood. Still able to catch a few perch and a couple of bass. No trashcan in master bath or bedroom. Master bed was really hard but we made do. Loved that they provided poles, especially for granddaughter. Enjoyed cornhole & old school video games. Overall a very good trip. We were able to check in early and stay late which was truly appreciated.

Our cabin was awesome and so much fun with all the tv's and games. The kayaks where the highlight of the trip having them ready and available was a plus. The beds were so comfortable and the fireplaces a plus in the evening. Scott was an awesome host and even allowed us to check in early and check out late. You won't go wrong renting here and we will return for a longer stay.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. If we had any questions, Scott was available and very willing to help out. The cabin is lovely with lots of windows and very bright. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, fishing, kayaking, and s'mores by the fire. There's an old-school Pac-Man machine and plenty of games for all ages, the home even smells new! The kitchen is awesome for cooking for a large group, There were 10 of us and we were all very comfortable. We will be back!

Spending a long weekend in Hochatown is an annual event for our family for the past 4 years. This property was super clean with a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful nestled amongst the trees with a fishing pond (yes, we caught fish) just off the back patio. The location was easily found and near all the activities of Hochatown. Scott was most helpful with answering all questions and making the arrangements go smoothly. Family of 5 more than enough room! The 3 high bunk bed was a HIT with our kids and the beds were ALL so comfy! Our teenage boys were challenged to high score wins $100 and they were glued :) we will be back SOON!

Great Management!! We were in a bind with another cabin we had rented that had plumbing issues. He was extremely helpful in getting this one booked for us in such short notice!! The cabin is beautiful . The pond behind it is so much fun for the whole family!! Would highly recommended to anyone.

The cabin was great for the 8 of us, plus our 2 fur babies. Everything we needed was at our fingertips and the s'mores were a great touch. The only drawbacks, the party on the other side of the lake (very loud music) but it was remedied very quickly and the pillows were extremely hard. Overall, we had a great short visit and dad got an uninterrupted weekend with all of his adult children.

We love coming to Broken Bow/Hochatown and staying at the different cabins in the area. Water's Edge was beautiful. We loved that it was right off a little pond. We were able to fish and kayak. It was perfect. When we arrived we did have a small delay checking in and arrived when the cleaners were still there. It was awesome seeing the detail that is done to make sure everything is just perfect for arrival. They completely drained the water in hot tub and scrubbed it down. Scrubbed down the grill, picked up trash to make sure the grounds were clean and set everything backup. The inside was just as immaculate. Even though we had a small delay the owner was quick to rectify the situation and make sure we were taken care of. Later on during our stay we were running out of firewood and not able to locate the kayak paddles. When we contacted the owner they rectified the situation quickly. Extra information: One master bedroom is completely private. The other master bedroom shares a bathroom with the game room. The game room also has a door to the room. This is nice so that whomever is staying in the game room has some privacy as well. Each bedroom has its own small patio. We loved the setup. Also loved the fact that they have a startup s'mores kit to get you started. So thoughtful. We loved our stay at Water's Edge and will be back again.

The pictures looked awesome! Way better than what the house actually is. Nothing really wrong with the place but super expensive for what it was. We decided to stay 2 more nights and booked a different VRBO that’s 7,500 Sq ft on 9 acres that is brand new for cheaper than this place. Kitchen cabinet drawer on island won’t close for some reason. Hot tub smells like fish there isn’t any chlorine in it. The house is nice but not what we paid for nice in my opinion. Other than that everything worked as planned and we had a great time!

We spent 4 wonderful days at the cabin. We hiked 3 days in Beaver Bend and spent an expensive fun day horseback riding plus a train ride even though the grandkids would love to do it again. At the cabin, there were 2 kayaks and a pond in the backyard. There was a fire pit plus a s'more station which we used every night. One day we had a gentle rain all day and there were many games and activities in the cabin which we enjoyed. The hot tub was very fun also. We recommend this VRBO.

This property is awesome and was very serene. It was just my husband, me and our two dogs. The home is beautifully maintained and very clean. There were lots of things to do and we loved the fire pit. Beautiful porch and outdoor tv. It was peaceful and quiet except for the rowdy renters next door that loved to blast their 80s rock music while they were outside fishing. That can't be helped. We would highly recommend this property and loved the "small town" feeling of Broken Bow and Hochatown.

What an incredible time the 5 of us had at The Retreat on the Waters Edge. Scott and Danielle even contacted us after our first night offering their assistance if needed! This lodge ( the word cabin just doesn’t do it justice) is breath taking and all of my guests were impressed!! Between hot tubbing, playing games, kayaking ( complete with life jackets) and watching movies we spent the majority of our time at “ home”. The added bonus was Ms PacMan. Bring on the tournament’s!!!!! You will never have to leave the property to have an extraordinary experience and to have others appreciate the lodge we took lots of pictures to show those who will hopefully be with us next year!!! Thank you Scott and Danielle for going above and beyond for us to experience luxury lodge living
