Overall it was an amazing house. The views of the lake are definitely the best part. I'm not sure the house is great for elderly individuals though. The stairs going to the upstairs could be difficult and my husband (6'3) hit his head pretty hard going up them the first time. The stairs going downstairs are even worse and my in-laws didn't even attempt those. My children however (8 & 10) loved the stairs going downstairs and the ping pong table and arcade machine. If you plan on doing the Skyline trail I would say DON'T unless you are an experienced hiker. Me and my husband (40 years old in good shape) attempted the hike and didn't make it. We saw several other hikers throughout the trip that also succumbed to the trail. This of course has nothing to do with the house, just wanted to let future renters know because we didn't! If you want a view of the lake from your house there are only a few options in the area and this one was definitely worth it for us.

We spent the majority of our time on the covered porch just staring at the million dollar view, seriously! The house was perfect and clean on arrival. The location was remote enough for a peaceful getaway but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants. It's on our list to visit again!

Such a beautiful cabin and the views are beautiful. There was five of us and we had tons of room. Loved the video games, foosball table and ping pong in the basement was fun! Also had uno, skip Bo, battleship, and other games. Very short drive to kayaking and food and things to do. There was two wasps in one of the rooms but home had spray thankfully to kill. You are after all in the middle of woods and it was to be expected. Would highly recommend this cabin and will definitely plan another trip here. I would give it more stars if I could!

This cabin was the kids' favorite so far at broken bow. The amenities, the view, and the rooms.

The property was amazing!!! Everything we needed and more!!! Loved the comfy beds. All the comforts of home with a beautiful view!!! We were in need of nothing. Just a short drive to the river for a swim and fishing. A very restful place to stay!♥️♥️♥️ Already planning to come back.

This is the perfect house for a relaxing getaway. It’s tucked quietly on top of the mountain with a spectacular view of the lake but is still close enough to many activities to be convenient. We needed some family time away from the normal chaos and this house was the perfect spot for us.

Beautiful view and plenty of room to move around! Great for families!

Beautiful place to stay. Kids and adults enjoyed the games and hiking. Small spiral staircase leading to the basement is probably not good with toddlers. Although my 3 year old granddaughter spent most of her time wanting to go up and down it. Comfortable place to hang out with friends and family.

You really couldn’t find a more perfect place to stay with the kids for some much needed down time! More than enough room for everyone, the most amazing views, and everything you would need! Thank you!!

The view was very nice and made just hanging out at the cabin much more enjoyable. I have stayed all around the area and this was a wonderful mix of wilderness and modern convenience with a paved (albeit windy) road. Cabin was nice for the rates charged and we were very satisfied with it. Any issues or concerns were quickly addressed and the host was friendly and accommodating. We plan to come back! Thank you!!!

Pictures do not do this cabin justice! The view is absolutely incredible. You don’t have to leave the cabin to have a great time! Everything you need is there - corn hole, a fire pit, hammocks, even a hot tub! I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to get away. 🤗

Absolutely perfect!
We have been to Broken Bow several times and like to try new neighborhoods/houses each time... I think this one is a keeper. Well kept and comfortable, tons of amenities for all ages, enough space that we never felt crowded, and privacy. There is only one other cabin in the immediate area so no excessive traffic or noise. It was close to the dam and lots of trails and other outdoor activities and both Broken Bow and Hochatown were easily accessible. Great stay! Thanks!

Fun times
The property was great. If you have small kids I would make sure there is a baby gate for the spiral stairs. You also want to bring extra firewood. Overall would stay again, views are great and easy place to find. Thank you!

Excellent Christmas Vacation
Mine and my sister's family stayed here for Christmas this year. We had a wonderful time! The kids loved all the games downstairs. We enjoyed the swingset, the hot tub, and how we could walk to the hiking trails. The views were also spectacular. We will definitely be staying again!

Christmas Vacation
My husband is originally from Brokenbow and has family there but we don't really have a place big enough for everyone to get together. This was absolutely perfect. The property is beautiful so adults enjoy the scenery. While the kids have things to do outside and the amazing gameroom downstairs that allows them to run and play without disturbing any conversations. The hiking trail was awesome for everyone. Except those of us a little out of shape. Lol! The beds are super comfortable and the hot water is never-ending. We forgot our boxfan and pack-n-play and they had both! Amazing place for family for sure.

Annual Family Vacay
This was our first trip to Broken Bow. It was absolutely beautiful. The cabin, besides being beautiful, had everything we needed plus many extras. The view is breathtaking. Our host responded quickly while planning this trip and while we were there.

There were three couples in our six-day trip to this gorgeous home. The views are phenomenal, the house is absolutely perfect -- everything we had imagined and more. Fully appointed, beautifully furnished...we would be delighted to return.

Review from a high maintenance traveler - EXCELLENT CABIN and VIEWS
My husband and I spent a few days here for his birthday in Sept. Adrienne, the host, was amazing and very responsive to all my questions and concerns! She answered me within minutes in most cases.
The cabin was very clean, well appointed and had all the amenities we needed. If you're high maintenance like us and like espresso drinks in the morning you will need to bring your own espresso machine, or go to the coffee shop. The view from just about every room in the cabin was amazing! This was our first time in Broken Bow, and we were very happy with our choice of cabins. Just looking at other cabins online, very few have a view like this. The pictures do not do it justice at all!
We only used one bedroom but the bed was comfortable; if you're particular about pillows you may want to bring those from home. It is pitch black in the bedroom at night, which is great for sleeping, but you may want to bring a nightlight if you get up in the night.
We loved sitting out on the deck, drinking coffee in the morning, watching the sunrise over the lake. We saw a few deer as well. In the evening, we enjoyed drinking wine by the fire pit, but wished the fire pit was a little more private or blocked from the lights of cars on the road and the view of the other cabin.
The only complaint I have is the proximity of the other cabin across from it, which obviously can't be changed, but is something to be aware of. You are basically sharing a driveway and front yard with that cabin. I'm sure most of the time these larger cabins are booked with families, but just know if you are looking for solitude or quiet, you might not get as much of it with a cabin and large family gathering next door. :-) While we were there 2 different families checked in across from us, each having 4 cars and 5-6 young children who could be a bit rambunctious at times. There are signs for parking for the other cabin to keep them from parking on your side, but people don't always read signs. If we had more people and cars there it might have been tight getting in and out. This would not keep us from staying at the cabin again, but just something to be aware of.

Everything you could ask for!
This cabin was wonderful and had absolutely everything you could ask for! The view was picturesque, and was so beautiful. The game room was a huge hit with the kids, the beds were extremely comfortable, and all the furnishings were wonderful. Our family had such a great time hanging out around the campfire and sitting on the porch swings and watching the deer come up in the morning.

The BEST place to stay in the area.
We drove around just to see what was available and came back saying we already had the BEST at Viewtopia!! There were many things to do in Broken Bow but we just enjoyed our family time at the cabin, hiking the trails, and watching deer. There was lots of activities for kids. Adrienne was a great host and certainly provided a 5 star experience!

Great stay with teenagers and extended family!
It was a beautiful cabin with so much space! Everyone had their own room with comfy beds. You don’t need to bring anything to cook in the kitchen which was nice. Lots of activities including games, fire pit, hot tub, and hammocks to enjoy. We also enjoyed doing the hike to the river as it was an awesome workout. Very challenging so glad we didn’t bring the younger kids. We also rented a boat to enjoy the day at the lake. I do wish it was a little closer to the water, but the view of the lake was beautiful! We even got an email to check on us. Thank you for a great week!
