About this house rental
This exquisitely charming and cozy 1300 square foot cabin is perfect for folks who want easy access to some of Prescott's premium back-country, but still be minutes from downtown Prescott and Whiskey Row. Nestled at the edge of Prescott in the Ponderosa Pines, the cabin has two queen sized bedrooms with queen beds. Leather Couch recliner in the front living area with plenty of windows, the cool pine-filtered light fills the open floor plan. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you'll need to make fresh coffee and cook the local farmers market bounty. The bathroom separating the bedrooms features a full bath with natural stone surrounds.
The surrounding land is fully fenced for your adventure-bound dog. The front door has a large dog door for access to their playground.
Perfectly situated with a 5 minute walk to 'Safeway' grocery store; 20 minute walk/4m drive to historic downtown, Whiskey Row & Courthouse Square and an 11 minute drive to Goldwater Lake up Senator Highway.
We welcome you in sharing this truly enchanting chateau !
The steep driveway requires an SUV or truck and is not for the faint of heart. If you have a sedan there is alternative parking provided down at street level. If you park at street level there are 20 stairs to walk up. If you park in the driveway, there are 7 stairs to walk up.

Great communication with Host. We'll stay again.

Great property!! I love the wide open feel to it and it was super cute. Kitchen had everything and then some!! The location couldn’t be beat and the neighborhood was awesome to walk the dogs around. Definitely recommend.

Awesome 2 br house that was big enough for our family of 5, with 3 boys ages 16, 13 and 9 and our dog. Dog loved the doggie door and fenced yard and looking out the window. Couches were so comfy and great to hang out as a family and watch tv. Beds were comfy. Bathroom shower was great with water pressure and had a beautiful stained glass window. Place had everything you needed to cook. We loved how close it was to downtown and went there several times per day.
Close to drive to hiking and lakes. Host was great and easy to work with and helpful with questions! Would definitely stay here again!

The whole family loved this place, especially the dog!

This little spot had space, comfy beds and the location + aura were off the beaten path. It was a very chill stay, clean and close to main attractions. Thanks Kris. Enjoy Phish this summer!!

My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at this cabin. The location is great, we enjoyed the porch and the movie selection! It was perfect for getting out of the city and just relaxing. We didnt leave the property except to take a short walk to the store and down the road a bit to stretch our legs. I made some chili in the crock pot provided and took it real easy! I especially loved his music collection (Widespread Panic) and the over all vibe of the place. Surround sound would be a total bonus! There was plenty of coffee (both kurig and pot) with all the sugars provided. Nice touch. The drive way is VERY steep, follow the directions and go up one wheel at a time. Over all it was a cozy place with cozy furniture and the bed was very comfortable!

Everthing was great except the owner lost his cleaning person the day we were coming and didnt have the house ready when we arrived. He got there and cleaned and changed the bedding and got the place ready. We had to wait about 1 1/2 hour before we could settle in. That wasnt so bad. He said he would compensate us the dog fee, but havent seen that yet. Overall it is a wonderful place to stay. Very close to town (1mile) and safeway is just across the street. 2nd time weve been there and will certainly go back.

Nice cozy place . Pretty much have everything you need . Close to downtown. Love the patio , we had our tea and croissants their every morning. The fire pit was a bonus . Really nice comfortable living room . Lots of movie selections. Bedrooms was big enough and also comfortable. The only thing was the pull out couch was in the garage so not really functional for us but I would still give this a 5 star review because the couch and the recliners in the living room was really comfortable. We would definitely stay here again . This place was definitely a gem .

Being very familiar with Prescott I knew the location well, despite being close to 89 and on Copper Basin, cabin was very quiet, good size rooms though only one was used (the one closer to 89). Nice open layout between big kitchen/dining area and living room. Location is close to both downtown and hiking/biking by White Spar Campground.

We loved the property and the house! What a beautiful place and perfect location! Love it and can’t wait to stay here again!

This is a great little spot. We were close enough to the resurants and shops that we could walk every we wanted to go.
The driveway is a little tricky but the owners gave great instructions on where to park in case we didn't have an SUV.
The property was well kept and it was easy to feel at home.

I loved the cabin. Reminded me of back home. Only problem is the steps. Maybe not a good place for older people. Our dog loved loved loved the doggy door and the fenced in front yard. Everything u need is there. Just take ur personals and food. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Great overall experience. Cabin is perfect for a quick get away.

The cabin was cozy and close to downtown. We highly recommend it!

Hosts were friendly and house had everything you needed. We only left to wrestling matches and came back to house to cook and relax.

If your just needing a warm roof, bed and kitchen with some dvd nighttime entertainment this fits the bill. If your wanting a place to hangout its not very bright inside and mostly older kitchen and furnishings inside. Make sure you read the directions for parking before yoi get there.

We couldn’t stay because I screwed up everything, this was my first time using Vrbo. They graciously refunded my money, for that I thank you Christopher!!
4.7
It was a good experience and the price was reasonable. Close to downtown and by Safeway store.
4.7
Location and proximity to downtown Prescott were excellent. Views were nice. I would stay there again.
4.7
We enjoyed our overnight stay. I would say the pullout couch could use a new mattress and the floor under the couch needed cleaning, overall the house was clean except for that.
4.7
My family and I really enjoyed our stay very much. The kids (7&3) loved the yard and playing in the cooler weather. My husband and I loved the beautiful sunset from the living room and the amazing location. We hope to be back in Prescott in the near future and hopefully the cabin will be available for us to rent again.
4.7
the house fit all our needs and the fenced in yard was great. We had a few questions when we arrived and Cris responded immediately and was very helpful. We would definitely stay again

Accessing the property from the street is not easy. 45 degree plus driveway to park on or carry everything up a hill.
The place reeked of bad air fresheners and bed linens with overly scented detergent. Dog area was precarious.
4.7
Well appointed cabin in great location! We really enjoyed staying in this comfortable property with our large dog. We enjoyed the fenced in yard and the outdoor areas for lingering. Loved our morning cuppa Joe in the Keurig.
4.7
Thos VRBO was very comfortable. I had everything you would want for a nice get away. The large dog door was great for my large dogs. The yard was plenty big enough for them to do their business. It was located very close to downtown Prescott. The freeway and all the sightseeing places in Prescott. Safeway store was right across the street. The driveway was steep but manageable with my truck. We will definitely stay here again.

Charming rustic cabin in great location
This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our daughter and dog. It was clean with charming decor and equipped with everything we needed. Having the fenced yard and doggy door was a huge plus for us. Would definitely stay there again.

Driveway was a little crazy but we enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to have a fenced in yard for the dogs. Very cute house and nice location.

Super clean, quiet area but close enough to old town. Love the style

You can do the driveway in the truck but be careful it’s very steep, and if you have problems with steps this is not the property for you, but if that’s not an issue what a wonderful place to stay!

Great Place

Met our needs…dog friendly with yard, air conditioned, nicely decorated. Parking was only issue. Driveway was extremely steep. We have a 4x4 Sprinter. It made it up, but the incline was so steep that opening the doors was difficult. We couldn’t park below on Friday due to the water pump truck, but parked there on Saturday/Sunday. Owner had posted info about the driveway, but “seeing was believing.”
