Keeping in mind that many of you are new to the area, we've left a "Travel assistant" to help you with questions about daily weather, events, and even to play your favorite music. Being grandparents ourselves, we love children and have equipped Wine Down with an exciting variety of toys, puzzles, games & books for our little visitors.
This 1 Bedroom,1 1/2 Bath cabin comfortably sleeps 4. You will find a fully equipped kitchen with dining for 4, a living area with a Queen sleeper sofa, new gas insert fireplace, fire pit & chairs, flat screen smart TV, and many unique touches.
King bedroom with a private half bath upstairs in the beautiful loft area. The laundry house is directly across from driveway for your use, at no additional cost. Easy access in inclement weather.
The back deck includes relaxing rolling creek views and sounds to enjoy while sitting in the cozy hot tub; perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. Or perhaps you'd rather rock on the front porch and enjoy the beautiful wooded setting. Wine Down is set back further in woods, surrounded by only sights & sounds of nature for your escape vacation. A newly added fire pit just added for the cooler weather evenings to enjoy.

Road Condition to Cabin: Easily Accessible roads / Gravel Driveway. This cabin has paved roads all the way to the property, as you pull in it becomes gravel. There is comfortable. parking. for 2-3 vehicles.
Pet Friendly: Up to 2 dogs. (Potty-trained and non-chewers) NO CATS! $.90 pet fee if indicated at time of reserving, $110. if not indicated, but bring. This fee allows us the extra pet cleaning to assure clean/sanitized cabin for each guest.

We had a great time at the cabin. It was perfect for us. Another plus was we could bring our fur babies! The owner (Laura) was there every time we had a question or any problem. We didn’t have any problems. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is the cabin for you!!

We absolutely loved our stay here at wine down for our first wedding anniversary!! This was my first time in tennesse with my husband and our dog.The cabin was hands down the best part of our entire trip! We all found that the back porch was our favorite spot! We saw an owl our first night there and enjoyed the quietness back in the woods with the stream flowing in the back yard. The cabin was clean, peaceful, enjoyable, and all around sweet! We were also so grateful we were able to bring our pup! Our st. Bernard lab mix was in love with this place other than the stairs that he whined at and slid down a few times. We enjoyed bottles of wine and cooked steak on the grill outside, followed by movies on netflix snuggled up on the couch. This place was truly a homerun and we will be telling our friends and family about this sweet liitle cabin. It truly felt like home away from home and it was perfect for our anniversary ❤️ If your contemplating staying somewhere wine down is the perfect cozy cabin! The cabin is not too close to the main town of gatlinburg and pigeon forge but they are within normal driving distance (20-30min drive).There are also other cabins around wine down, but it was so incredibly quiet and there is so much privacy (we maybe saw two other families but everyone stayed very quiet).10/10 recommend especially if you are looking for peace and quiet and traveling with your doggo! We will be back that's for sure!

This place was amazing . The back porch with the river running through was so peaceful .all the trees covering the place gives you the forest feel . Place was very clean and had everything we needed .. even for our little dog . Short drive to gatlinburg but far enough to feel “secluded “ which was nice . Can’t say enough about this place .. if your a small family this is the place to stay . Also next door is a laundromat with a coffee shop and it’s a must have !! Also swing by painted bear coffee the owner was extremely nice . Wine down is a perfect stay !!

The cabin is very comfortable and cozy with everything we needed. It is located near the Great Smoky Mountains while still providing enough distance to feel removed from the busy downtown area. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a full day of hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our much needed getaway.

This little cabin was perfect for our 10th anniversary trip. I was just a short drive into town to see everything. The creek behind the cabin is so peaceful. The property owners were fantastic with any questions we had and with recommendations. There are cabins near this one but we never saw any other neighbors. It exceeded our expectations!

We highly recommend this cozy cabin for a couple. The hot tub with the brook rushing by created an outstanding ambience. Other cabins are nearby without being too close. It is away from the congestion of Gatlinburg and the national park but close enough to get to those places without being put off by the drive. There is a Cosby entrance to the park (though it doesn’t go very far in) that’s less crowded with an excellent trail—Hen Wallow Falls. We thought it much superior to the Laurel Falls trail inside the main part of the park. Lastly, Laurie is great and really wants you to feel at home in the cabin. God bless!

This place exceeded my expectations! The location was absolutely beautiful going up during the winter for the snow and the river was so relaxing to listen to all the time. Would 100% stay here again, the hot tub and fireplace were also extremely nice. The owners are so sweet, helpful and extremely understanding of anything :) The cabin had plenty of room for two and even had so much cute decor. Couldn’t have asked for anything better for a quick stay!

My husband, our Newfie—Angel, and I had a wonderful time in this creek side cabin. Its description was exactly what we found there. Good location to travel to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was my first time seeing that part of Tennessee. It is a beautiful place. Many tourists were also enjoying the towns and thought Angel was a “bear”. So appropriate with all the bear trinkets in the cabin.

Check in was easy. Bed was comfortable and you could hear the creek at night. Hot tub was clean and relaxing so nice on the back deck overlooking the creek. Kids loved the swing on the porch. Host reassured us to let us know if we needed anything at all. Great weekend getaway!

It’s really hard not to - the cabin easy peasy to find,, was spic and span clean, terribly comfy, lovely decor and extremely welcoming,, and well,, with the amazing creek as literally your back yard!!!!! ? - - it’s just short of heaven . We were there to relax and reset after a very busy Jan- July season and it was exactly what was needed - and more!
The hot tub, which I never use at/ or on a vacation , was exceptional, clean and soothing,, Again, as needed but exceeding expectations. We literally did not leave the property the whole 5 days we were there!! So visit Wine Down,, you will be ever so glad you did.

The cabin was absolutely amazing. The view of the river was what I was looking for. It was a perfect size for our family. The only thing that made us incredibly uncomfortable was there are cameras watching you everywhere outside. We seen 3 camera and one was a blink camera that I know records voice. Front porch, grill area, fire pit. Your being recorded. The back deck, my children loved it. Amazing hot tub. But there is a camera pointing directly down at the hot tub. I have a teen daughter and seeing the camera directly on the hot tub made my husband and I uncomfortable. I understand why they use the cameras. I’m sure it’s bc someone has not been so kind to their property in the past and one person ruins it for all. But no where in the listing, emails or messages telling us we would be recorded in a some what secluded private cabin the whole time. We went inside to have private conversations. We went there for seclusion away from the high tourist places for privacy and it honestly just makes u feel vulnerable bc u have no privacy and someone can just pull u up on their cell phone. It’s a cute little cabin. Very homie. But u just don’t have privacy.

If I could give more stars for this stay, I would!! The property owner was in constant contact with us before we even left for the trip! She was so helpful, and gave tons of recommendations for our stay. It’s about a half hour to Gatlinburg, which was perfect for us because we wanted a true get away. The cabin is SO CLEAN and I didn’t have to worry about anything the whole time. A screen on the back door would be PERFECT to be able to keep the back door open, and hear the water from the Brook at night. Wish I could give more stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this cabin. We loved the creek right off the back porch. It was very relaxing. The cabin is right off of the highway but the road noise was minimal, especially with the rushing waters of the creek. The cabin was gorgeous and clean. Beautiful wooded area, plenty of space between cabins. The drive to Gatlinburg and Peigon Forge wasn't bad at all. We will definitely plan to come stay here again
