Great house, Great Location. It is minutes away from King Street and a 20 min ride to IOP.

We had a great stay here. House was just as advertised. Excellent communication with host. Beds were comfortable. Great water pressure in showers! Some reviews said it was loud from hospital generators nearby but… we never heard them. We had no need to use the sound machines at night. Very convenient location.. we walked to King Street & other restaurants near the house like Fuel Cantina for dinner & Little Line for breakfast, I highly recommend The Dispensary & Prohibition on King street .. excellent food & drinks. We enjoyed the South Carolina Aquarium & Fort Sumter, we walked there too.. a bit far but doable if you like walking or could easily take an Uber.
We will definitely book this home again next time we visit Charleston. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in this very cute, clean, and comfortable home. Location was great and in walking distance to plenty of fun locations. Owners were quick to respond to any needs or questions. Check in/out process was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here with my young adult children and 80yo parents for my son’s graduation weekend.
The house was a perfect fit for all.
There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor with private bathrooms, which allowed the older guests to avoid going up and down the stairs too often.
The younger guests had the top floor which gave them some privacy and a space of their own.
2 outdoor decks allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. Its a nice location with cute spots to grab a bite, or a coffee and a bakery and restaurants in walking distance. I’ve been to Charleston many times but this was our first house rental. The host was easily reached via text/e-mail and always replied promptly. I’ve already recommended this place to friends planning a visit this summer!
Highly recommend!

The property is very clean and spacious and overall we enjoyed our stay. The downside I would say is there was little to no kitchen supplies to make a meal at the place so we had to eat out everyday. There was also zero cleaning supplies so there's no way to clean up any messes on our own. The constant loud humming noise from the hospital AC units next door was a bit annoying but out of control of the house and it's ammenities. Overall it was a nice place and could be made much better with a few more available supplies to the renter.

We had a lovely Easter weekend staying here with my family. Layout was great for our group. We would have liked a few more pots and pans to cook breakfast and towels in bathrooms. Easy walk to downtown/King Street. You can hear the hospital generator but nothing too disturbing. I would stay here again.

We were very happy with the accommodations at this property. Easy to check in and out, property management made it all convenient. A brisk walk to King Street and shopping and restaurants. I didn’t realize the property was in a courtyard with other properties but it made it quiet which was nice. Very clean, bright, high ceilings, lovely wood floors.

This house was very well finished. Beautifully decorated and great space. Unfortunately the constant humming from MUSC was aggravating. It was hard to relax.

We had an excellent stay. It was convenient to get to downtown. The house was clean and ready on time. Checkin was seamless. Communication was very good. Overall I would recommend this VRBO to any group wanting a place to stay near downtown Charleston.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. There were a few things that we communicated with the rental company, but nothing major. This is a nice, hidden home in a small community area. It's about a 5-7 minute drive to all the main attractions and shopping near king street. The home is right beside MUSC, but it wasnt too noisy where we couldn't sleep well peacefully. Thanks again!

Great property with 3 stories that provided some separation and privacy for a family with teens. The location is great we were comfortable walking everywhere even at night. They had some nice extras by providing shampoo, conditioner and make up wipes. The only critical observation is that the house needs to be painted in some rooms where they have had drywall damage. Besides that, everything was perfect for us.

Wonderful & comfortable. Loved the outside porches. Had dinner & lunch outside! Would recommend this property but put your walking shoes on!

This home was beautiful and the off street orientation was ideal. The location of this property was not what we had expected, it was a far walk to King St, shops, and restaurants and the neighborhood is run-down. We didn't feel safe walking so had to uber everywhere. This home backs up to a hospital building, the constant noise coming from the generators and HVAC systems was so loud made it impossible to sit outside on the balcony. Overall it was a good experience.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful, updated and great layout for 2 families being that there are identical master suites. The property was walking distance to downtown but not super close. Only negative was the adjacent building’s air conditioning/handler is very loud and right next to the house. Sounded like a jet engine taking off every few minutes so it made for a restless night’s sleep. Very unfortunate and obviously not the property owner’s fault but still felt like I needed to mention in my review.

Great old house within walking distance of great restaurants, the park, and the farmers market on weekends. We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Local wedding location
We loved the location of the property. We are local and decided to stay close to the wedding venue for our son. The location was excellent for a quick uber ride down to broad street and to the wedding venue at Lowndes Grove. The property was everything we needed for our stay.

Great choice
The house was perfect for seven friends. Bit of a walk to king but totally doable.

Large house with great layout
2 bedroom suites on the first floor. Large open LR/DR/kitchen on second floor opens onto a large covered porch. The house perfectly accommodated all the activities around our daughters wedding which was a few blocks away.

We came to Charleston for a girls weekend,, a group of four of us. This house was absolutely perfect on all accounts. It was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and just overall super comfortable. One thing thats worth pointing out is that the main living space is on the 2nd floor, the first floor has two bedrooms bedrooms two bathrooms while the third floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. My favorite part was the LARGE balcony on the 2nd floor and the wall of French doors leading out to it. So much natural light and fresh air (we had absolutely perfect October weather for our visit). I would definitely recommend this house to anyone I know and would love to come back for a stay myself!

All a around an excellent option
The property is in a urban setting located just north of the north King St. area. It's an emerging area on the Peninsula with some good food options within walking distance. It's probably a 15 min walk to the heart of N. King st if you want to be in a center of activity. We took rickshaws back to the house at night! We had four couples and everyone loved being there. It's hard to find a four bedroom place in the Peninsula and this option is a good one.

Perfect!
Great property - just needs more coffee cups :) and instructions on how to use the air/heat but perfect for our girls weekend

The property was in a great location and gave the 8 of us plenty of room, both inside and out, to gather and enjoy our time together. Part of the charm......but part of our age issues....were the three floors of living space with the bedrooms on the first and third floors. It would be a beautiful place for younger couples and also for a family. The decorating was lovely and kitchen perfect.

Retired teachers explore Charleston.....
Eight retired teachers and friends wanted a getaway after all the covid stresses and to explore a beautiful, historic city. Since our ages were from late 60's to mid 80's we needed a comfortable place, a good location and room to spread out and socialize. This house worked well for us. There are three floors so the ones more mobile took the top floor. It would not work for those with health or mobility issues, but for five days with our group it worked well.

Thank you David for being so responsive and accommodating. You checked in on us throughout our stay and made the check in and out process so seamless. Your property is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great Stay!
We rented this house for my 40th Birthday with two other couples! We were able to walk to King Street and Uber to anywhere else. The property was perfect! We loved the big front porch and the parking spot! Made some suggestions to property management on kitchen utensils that would be helpful. Other than that management team was very great to work with! My only suggestion when you are going to Charleston is make restaurant reservations well ahead of time! Have a great stay!

Beautiful home well situated for couples or family.
Guest of all the place is gorgeous. I think it’s brand new because it sure feels like it. I loved the bathrooms, kitchen, and the decor. Very chic, modern and comfortable. We made breakfast at home every morning but also ate lunch there a bit too. Easy to cook which was nice. They were very quick with all communication which was a real pleasure. Super easy to check in. My only negative was one morning there was a leaf blower at 6:45 that woke us all up. Not that this is the fault of the owner but it was a little noisy. I used the noise machine the next night and all was good. I would suggest you do that first night. Would come back.

Great house
Great house - location ok. Right next to a parking lot for businesses so lots of morning traffic but rental provided sound machines in bedrooms which helped. House is immaculate and comfortable. Had a few minor issues but they were resolved quickly. I would recommend staying at this house!

Amazing Charleston house!
We had a group of 7 girls and had a wonderful stay! The home has been beautifully renovated and was extremely clean, modern and organized. Our favorite parts were the kitchen, showers and porches! It is about 0.5 mile walk from King St. David was extremely responsive and provided outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful house!
