Easy to find and check in. Walked in and saw wall plaque in floor. Checkout rest of house. Turned on the A/C to cool house down from 86 degrees. Took overnight to drop to 70. Bedroom down stairs never got light to come on so used the lamp. Bed squeak some. Some spiders in house. A/C unable to keep house cool on hot days. Glad we were out most of day but been nice to come in to cool house. House was almost on top of house in front of us. Feeling like they could see everything going on. Had next house lady staring at us. Don't know if you need a heater right now to tell you about it. Maybe a trash can outside and something to give more privacy around deck. Need some repair inside on walls and painting. Maybe a booklet on what all of the switches goes to sincexwe didn't figure out the lights.

House is very clean. Easy to find and get to. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware. Host provided us with kcups to use in the kerig machine. Love the fire table on the patio. Comfortable seating in the living room. Several bunnies and birds in the area to watch.

My family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights to ski at Cataloochee. This house was great for us and really convenient to town and skiing. It was very clean, well-appointed and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of skiing. We’d definitely stay here again.

Property was spankin' clean and has been thoughtfully renovated. No knotty pine anywhere! King bed upstairs is very comfortable - probably my #1 concern at rental properties. This bed is fantastic. The hot tub was great and the fire table was a welcome addition. I'd stay here again anytime.

This was a wonderful family get away, easy access for my 91 year old mother & her 93 year old sister! We, their caregivers, had a wonderful experience with them, making memories!

Had an amazing stay at this property. My only recommendation is that the light switches be labeled as it is a bit confusing. The property is great, up on a hill, and the views are awesome. It was the perfect place for getting a little bit of work done while having space to spread out and visit with a friend. Also - fantastic that it is pet friendly!

Our stay was fantastic! The house is great and the location is fantastic. I really liked that we didn’t have to travel far into the mountains for a great view. The hot tub was amazing at night under the stars. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a quiet house in the mountains for just a couple days at the end of a long trip through the Carolinas. This place was perfect! It was exactly as advertised. The process was smooth as well. Thanks!

The place was as described. The view was stunning. Loved sutting out on the deck watching the birds, bunnies, fireflies and hummingbirds.Coming from Florida the cooler weather was so appreciated. We hit Bryson city, cherokee, catalahoochie and cades cove.

We enjoyed 3 peaceful weeks in July escaping the Florida heat. We used the deck and fire table for cool evenings. In the meadow nearby saw Elk and wild Turkeys. Conveniently located to Maggie Valley and accessible paved road. The view is not to be missed. Wonderful! Hope to return

Two couples on motorcycles for our annual trip. Home was very accommodating and the view was great. Communication with the manager was simple with very quick response. We were very comfortable hanging around the home when the weather did not cooperate with us. Thanks Cal for the hospitality.

The house was centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to see! Cherokee Village, the casino, the Great Smokey Mountain railroad and the falls tour with Captain Mike on Greenville Lake. The home itself was very nice and the Mountain View stunning! If you’re looking for a nice mountain getaway or just a place to unwind I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you.

The View of the Mountains were Lovely and a Charming Home !! We Were Disappointed that Fire-table Would Not Stay Lit during Our Two Week Stay and I Was Told By the Owner , That He Was Out of Town During Our Stay and His Maintenance Man Was Also Out of Town !! Neither of the Propane Tanks Were Filled upon Our Arrival for the Fire table or Grill. !! It is Unfortunate that There Was Not a Back up Maintenance Person , as it Would Have Enhanced our stay with the fire on the deck on the beautiful cool evenings , and we had to go get the propane tank filled ourselves to be able to grill !! It is too bad that there was not more attention to these details, , because we enjoyed the home and the View . !!

This property was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. It was centrally located to many attractions that we wanted to visit. Loved the kitchen, had streaming movies on the TV, the beds were great, the hot tub was amazing. Grill worked out perfectly. The fire table wouldn’t stay lit, owner was very prompt replying about the issue and there is a regulator on order for it. Wheels through Time was an amazing museum if you love motorcycles and history. We went ziplining at Navitat. Asheville was very accessible and we visited several waterfalls. Perfect house for our needs. Pet friendly as well.

Cal was Great to Work With
My wife came down with COVID the night before our trip. We did not get to enjoy our weekend away. I called Cal and he was great to work with. I look forward to finally getting to stay at this property soon.

Not too high, not too low-just perfect.
Great location to come & go if you like running around and not worry about getting up a steep mountain. But still a great view.
The road all the way to the home is fantastic.
Beautifully decorated. Wonderful patio & porch, comfy furniture inside and out. Even saw 2 elk in the yard on our last morning. Super nice folks to rent from. Definitely recommend.

Great Location
We loved being in the mountains and this property was perfect. The view from the deck was picturesque, and we spend a lot of each evening sitting there with a glass of wine. The house was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and would recommend this place for a relaxing vacation.

Creekwood Home
The house was very exceptionally clean and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking.
The description on the website said "air conditioning", so I assumed that meant that there was central air in the house, but there was not. There were 2 window AC units, one in the living area, and one in the upstairs bedroom. Let me preface by saying, we arrived on a day that was unusually hot for that area, but the house was VERY WARM when we checked in. It took about 4-5 hours for the home to get cool. Later that evening, I went back to the website, and saw that in the detailed amenities, the owner states that there were two window units in the home. So, my fault for not reading all of the details.
Other than that issue, the home was very nice, very clean, and the owner was very good about emailing me with details about the air conditioning.
