As pictured, no surprises. Ultra clean & quaint. Limited seating in the living room but we all cuddled đ

The location of this property is excellent, it a 5 minute walk to Bowdoin and 10 minutes to downtown. The owners appear to have taken what was previously a student apartment, fixed it up some (with odd gold plated lights and bathroom fixtures) and then turned it into a VBRO.
Unfortunately, it could use some more improvements. The furniture is slightly better than dorm room quality, the kitchen doesnât have measuring spoons or salt and pepper. It does have a small stove which was nice.
I was mostly disappointed in the bathroom. I am 6â7â tall and the shower head struck me just below my shoulders. I can typically deal with this BUT the shower stall was barely big enough for me to turn around, perhaps 30â square. Additionally, there are no towel racks in the bathroom, just hooks, so the towels never dried. It would be great if TINY SHOWER had been mentioned in the listing/

The listing was accurate for the unit but it wasnât a great fit for our family. On the positives, the location, across from Bowdoin and walkable to downtown was nice. The unit gets good lighting. And the beds are very comfortable.
I didnât pay enough attention to there not being dressers or drawers to put away clothes in the bedrooms, that the bathroom is on the other side of the unit from the bedrooms (not far but across the main room), and the bathroom is very small (with a tiny shower).
Other things to note are that the unit is up a flight of stairs, and there is not central heating (heater unit in the main room, not currently in the bedrooms).
