Booked this cottage for a guys golf weekend at American Dunes. If you’re looking for 4 beds a fridge and A/C, it won’t disappoint. However, the Ad did not account for maximum height of a 5’ 10” for occupants as we clipped our heads entering and exiting the kitchen from the mud room area, nor did it warn about the nest of several thousand bullet sized flies that would be cohabitating the place with us during the stay. It was bad enough that they were buzzing in our ears all night long but these free loading pests didn’t even chip in on the rent.

We stayed for a soccer in the sand tournament in Grand Haven. The location was perfect. The neighborhood was so quiet and everything we needed was in the cottage. Well maintained and cute, really enjoyed the small touches that made things more convenient like having charging cables in each bedroom. The board games were great, having a washer and dryer available was awesome, and we overall had a really good experience.

Overall, the house is as advertised. The only real issue we had was the outside deck and the chairs and the cushions have not been cleaned, and were very dusty . Also, the yard is very spotty with grass missing in large chunks, which makes for a lot of dirt tracking back-and-forth into the shoes and the house. The place itself is very nice. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is very functional communication with the owners was very good no issues with the neighborhood very quiet close to the small lake and within 15 minutes of grand Haven. Overall, we enjoyed our stay for the few days we were there.

My kids had a blast playing at the sandy beach, it was super close to Michigan Adventures, And we also had the opportunity to dine at some of the local restaurants. My family and I wanted to get away before school started and we found this location last minute. It was a wonderful property that had everything that we needed. Such a quaint adorable location super close to the beach. Beds were uncomfortable and the kitchen ceiling was comically low. Also the house didn’t seem like it had been thoroughly Covid-cleaned before our stay.

We had a nice stay, here. Great location, minutes from state park. Bring your bikes, because it is only a few hundred feet from a super, paved ,bike path and near a park for the kids. Owners very responsive to email questions. Hoffmaster SP , close and not very crowded. Thanks to Hosts.

Nice weekend stay for our family
It was great place for our weekend stay with our adult children to attend a family reunion nearby. It is on a quiet street and close to a nice walking path and the public beach. It was clean and well stocked with towels and dishes. A nice weekend place to stay to enjoy the area.

This cottage was exactly what my family was looking for in order to have a great short weekend with extended aunts and cousins. It's surprisingly large inside and has 4 spacious bedrooms; the outside deck and fire pit ensured that we had all the room we wanted for time to laugh and relax. Plus, the public access beach is only 3 blocks away and is perfect for time in the water without crowds. Would definitely stay here again.

Mom’s Getaway
This cute little cottage was just right for a mom’s little getaway. The area is perfect for visiting some of Grand Haven’s best spots for drinking and dining, but also some really great places right in Spring Lake.

Nice family time in Spring Lake
The cottage was just as the pictures were in the posting. The cottage was clean and the location was very convenient (very close to the bike trail and to Spring Lake). We brought kayaks along and put them into Spring Lake (there are two locations close to the cottage for public access). We used the bike paths many times throughout our stay. The neighborhood was very quiet also. We also enjoyed the complimentary muffins that were left for us when we arrived, it was a nice surprise. We also used the deck many times for outdoor dining, which was enjoyable for our family. Our only suggestion for area of improvement would be to have the beds provided with a full set of sheets (not just the fitted sheet over the mattress). We had a great time at the house and visiting the area.

We really enjoyed the fact that the property was 2 blocks from the lake's beach yet located at the end of a side lane. It was quiet, quaint, and had a great patio and fire pit. Great for 6 or less people. 8 is possible and will work with good weather.

This house is even cuter in person. Beautiful decor and has all ammentities you could need. Dead end street very secluded perfect for kids. The bike path is absolutely amazing! A must do for families, grand haven beach was a short 14 minute drive. We were all very impressed and will be booking this cottage again

There property was clean, beds are comfortable and the outdoor space is great for eating, lounging or, bonfire. The towels were super soft and it was stocked with everything we could need.

Great cottage just a short walk to the beach!
Cottage is as described. It's located just a 5 min walk from small beach of Spring Lake. Walking Trail is like 3 mins away. Grocery store and food options really nearby. There is a DVD player and Prime Video and Roqu box. 3 televisions. Nice deck. It was accessible for my mom who uses a wheelchair. We had a very nice and relaxing time.

Great stay!
We were very happy with our stay. It was a humid stormy weekend for us, but it was comfortable in the house with A/C and fans. The living room space was big enough for our family to share. Nice amenities, even a few extras like coffee, a pack n play, and a snack on arrival. We did get a few minutes outside before the rain & were able to enjoy the nice deck w/ plenty of seating. We borrowed the wagon from the garage for a short peaceful walk to Spring Lake beach. It was only a short drive to downtown Grand Haven. Also there is a bike trail and nice cafe/bakery within 1/2 a mile. Overall, a place I would definitely stay at again.
