Located directly on the historic cobblestone streets of downtown St. Charles just steps away from shopping and dining at unique restaurants and one-of-a-kind boutiques. This location is a rare find! Near the Conservatory, The Stone Chapel and the St. Charles Convention Center, you will find this the perfect spot for wedding guests. Lindenwood University is just a few blocks away and just 8 miles from St. Louis Lambert Airport. Classic Main Street St. Charles is a photographers dream with picturesque backdrops at every corner. Just across the highway you can visit the upscale "Streets of St. Charles" for more shopping and dining, a movie theatre and casino.

The nest has 2 bedrooms, 1 full and 1 queen and will host 4 guests. The sweet little house hosts 2 units with the front unit being this listing, and offers a washer and dryer in the unfinished basement. The kitchen is fully prepared for cooks as well as a Keurig coffee maker. The design is clean, modern, and minimal. The nest's unique layout will make this stay one to remember. We really enjoyed our stay. Couple points1) house very accommodating and cozy. The Kuerig with water was nice in the morning. We had a small accident and 1side plate fell and broke. Couple points where improvements maybe in order: 1Chest of drawers had musty odor in the room we slept that distracted from our overall experience. 2) Bathroom tub drained frustratingly slow. Thank you for contributing to a perfect 20 year anniversary. We really love St. Charles and look forward to our next trip Rob and Brigette Sitarski

We loved the location, when we arrived it wasn’t what we expected from the street, however upon entry we smelled cleanliness, simple but nice amenities and decor. Beds were comfortable and we had a great stay!

The cottage is as pretty as you see in the pictures! Everything was clean and organized. Check in, and communication with the owner, was easy and efficient. The location is perfect. So much to see and do, either by walking or an easy drive into the city. Highly recommend!

Great location for historic town. Shopping, tour 1st capitol, casino, visit St. Rose Phillipine Duchesne resting place and history. Walk to Schafly Brewing, bike or walk KATY trail. Lots of restaurants/shopping nearby.

I come to St. Charles frequently, this is the first time I have stayed in the Cardinal Nest. It was perfect. Great proximity to shops downtown St. Charles. The place was perfect and the beds were so inviting. I will definitely stay again.

I could not have made a better choice for a place to stay in St. Charles. The property was clean and arranged to make the stay homey and comfortable. The location on Main Street was perfect for walking proximity to the historic area, This was my first experience with VRBO; I was very pleased.

This is a great little house if you want to get away and explore what’s around St. Charles and St. Louis. Just a block from the downtown St. Charles district where they have a ton of cute shops and restaurants. Very convenient location. House was super cute, clean, and very comfortable. It is up on a hill with stairs to get to it so if you have orthopedic issues probably it the best spot. We took our dogs and there was a small yard for them to go but the grass was pretty tall. A great spot overall!! Will come back again!

The property was well equipped inside 100¾tter than any hotel could ever offer. The location was in walking distance to many wonderful restaurants ,bars and shops. I recommend visiting the area. Only improvements I would suggest are changing the shower curtain as it had mold on the bottom, cleaning the ac vents/registers in the house, cut the grass and touch of the walls with fresh paint.

The property was clean, in a great location, and quiet. Down the street from shops and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will consider booking again if we return to the area. Property manager was attentive to our needs as well.

We definitely would stay here again! The location was perfect for our needs. It was a very quiet neighborhood, and we did not have any issues with parking on the street. The house was clean and nicely updated, and had everything we needed. The manager/owner was very helpful and friendly also!

This house was so clean and ready early for us. We were so happy they took pets and even had treats for them. Great location! Quiet but close to downtown and lots of things to do. We will be back!

This was a great get away stay for me and my father. The locations was perfect and the place was clean and inviting. Although it sleeps 4, I feel like 4 adults would be cramped. The living room wound not seat 4 comfortably, but for the two of us it was perfect. I’d definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for us and our pup. We loved the fact that we could walk to Downtown St. Charles. Lots of dog friendly patios in this area and easy access to the park by the river. Home had everything we needed and easy street parking. Excellent rental!

We were going to two different concerts at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater and this was the closest/cheapest we could find. It was actually in an excellent location to walk Main St in St Charles.

My fiancé and I stayed for a week in St. Charles. The host was super responsive to any questions I had regarding checking in/out, and questions during our stay. The place is super cute, clean, and is an updated cozy space. Downtown St. Charles is right down the street, which was a huge perk! Would recommended to anyone looking to venture to this area to stay here!

The Nest was as advertised! It was a cozy cottage. Neat and clean. Within walking distance of Historic Main Street, perfect for many walks. If you are a walker, it is also close enough to walk to the casino. We had our three dogs and they also enjoyed the Nest. Will definitely stay her again!
