FAR from a luxury ship - Disappointing considering what we paid and expected from a luxury ship

Service from staff on the ship and from organizing tours was awesome! Staff get a 4.5/5.0. Tour organization was fantastic. We were able to see all the places with sufficient time and they assisted us with other smaller options that we requested last minute. WiFi on the ship wasn't the best so they arranged for a mobile device for us - which we appreciated.

Bathrooms in the suite were terrible. Shower didn't drain and flooded the bathroom; there were bugs constantly and a terrible smell. No exhaust which led to musty odour and constantly being hot. The food was okay; nothing to brag about. We opted for this b/c it was one of the only cruises available for a last minute booking. WiFi on the ship sucks. Bed was uncomfortable.

Lovely sized cruise boat , wonderful deck , good food

Not overcrowded , wonderful deck , attentive staff

set meal( chosen night before was so rushed) , it was very unprofessional ! They waiters were actually taking plates away whilst you were still eating food from them and plonking next course down on the table whether you where ready or not !!, It was so bad it was actually funny ! ( wondered if staff where affected by Ramadan ?, were the chef’s thinking this was acceptable behaviour ?! ). but when it happened a second night , same rushed process , forcing main course when not finished starter , it was annoyingly and spoilt the otherwise perfect service provided by all staff.

This cruise was exactly what we were looking for. The staff were extremely helpful. We enjoyed their beautiful sundeck, and the boat was clean and updated. The food was always tasty and the choices plentiful.

Excellent and most helpful staff. Fabulous facilities. Most wonderful, peaceful and comfortable way to travel the nile. Excellent, thank you to all the staff to make this trip memorable. Housekeeping is creative; lovely surprises each time we came to the room.

Location

Very less vegetarian/vegan options, few fude waiters, only 1 day sailing out of 4 days cruise , any water / cold drinks serving during meals to be paid extra despite huge cost charged. Please note that you also need to pay extra for any tour and guide during cruise...

Was a relaxing experience and the rooms were clean with super comfortable beds. The big windows were super enjoyable to watch our as we sailed on the nile. The dining room service was amazing!

The payment system isn't great. Everything is charged in US$ which is not ideal for other foreign guests. We email the company to take payment when we made the booking as our conversion rate was better. Our message was never answered and we had to pay on day of arrival based on the rate of the moment now when we booked including an extra conversion fee which was not stated when making the booking. Resulting in us having to pay a few $100s dollar more than we had budget for our honeymoon. This was not professional and if we knew this we would have booked with another company we would have preferred to sail with however their prices we more expansive. In the end we paid almost the same price. We wish there was more healthier food options available.

Amazing.

The staff was amazing. Excellent service. Excellent food. I believe is one of the best cruises in the Nile.

Our individual beds in the Royal Suite where not the best. They should improve.

Exceptional

The staff was very friendly and always helpful when you need them. Our Tour Leader was Kiro and did an amazing job explaining everything. Very knowledgeable about all the sightseeings/temples we saw during this trip. I will recommend it to my friends and family.

Gorgeous cruise down the Nile

This boat is beautifully set up, the pool area on top is gorgeous! That alone makes it worth booking. The staff working on the boat are exceptionally well trained, professional and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. There was a large selection of delicious food and drinks, so you’ll never go hungry or thirsty. There are also a variety of fun activities/shows that the crew arranges every night. We would have stayed longer if we could.

An excellent way to see famous historic sites in a relaxing and pleasant way, higly recommended!

This is a perfect way to spend holidays in Egypt. You can see many remarkable sites: Abu Simbel, Edna, Luxor, ... without having to hop from hotel to hotel. And you can also relax on the upper deck, while taking in magnificent views. The Le Fayan boat is very nice, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You can buy per-arranged excursions or plan your own through them or any other agency. We came with two teenage kids, and they both enjoyed it very much too.

I don't have a single complaint. WiFi internet perhaps could be faster, but I enjoyed time away from the internet:)

The room. Complaints were settled fast and on the spot Sundeck beautifully designed, but not very much frequented

No dress code for eatingtimes.from pyjama till hotpants and jogging outfits. All happened. Food was mostly buffet style medium standard. Paper cups for coffee. non arab foreigners about 30%.. Sailing time only 36 hrs out of 72.
