First impressions are always the last

The cleanliness and comfort. My mother is elderly and she plans to use this hotel in the future if she visits OC again.

It was overall great.

Our oceanfront room was amazing. You could hear the waves all night. We opened the doors in the morning to feel the breeze.

The room was super standard and the balcony was smaller than expected.

wonderful absolutely awesome!!!!!

we wnt there celebrating our anniversery and my Birthday. when we walked in the room there was balloons 2 cards cupcakes anda bottle of bubbly it was awesome!

I wouldnt change a thing . It was perfect!

Great location. Bed was very comfortable, and the staff was very nice.

Wish they had breakfast to offer. It was off season though.

Nice hotel with great location

Great location. Elevator access easy. Parking was convenient. The room was large. Bathroom countertop was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly.

The bathtub was extremely slippery when wet. I had to be very aware and cautious not to bite the dust in the tub. Also, the top bedsread cover on bed had lots of hair that was not from me or my spouse from immediate examination upon arrival. It was obviously not washed from the last guests. Grossed me out...the thought of it.

Great customer service

We arrived in town early and were welcomed into our room without a problem. We were upgraded to a higher room with a fantastic ocean view. The hotel was decorated with a holiday theme with beautiful tropical colors. Accommodations were perfect, a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, sink, dishes and utensils were available. The sofa/pull out bed was a nice addition to be able to sit and watch the ocean and TV. Beds and pillows were comfy. Oh, shower pressure was amazing if that's as important to you as it is to me. Convenient to all boardwalk festivities, restaurants, shops (although most were closed during our January visit). I would definitely recommend Park Place Hotel and will be sure to stay here again when visiting Ocean City.

Not a real complaint but we needed to stay an extra night due to a storm that would endanger our road trip and Park Place was closed Tuesday and Wednesday, however they were so accommodating giving us a late check out so we could get ourselves together to move to a different hotel. Extremely wonderful customer service!!

Our Stay at Park Place.

Great access to the board walk. Free bikes to use and decent coffee throughout the day.

The smell of the beef cooking in the restaurant. Since covid the smell of beef makes me almost puke.

Love the location, but the hotel itself needs some updating/fixing. Unsure if we would return to that particular hot

Love the location, direct access to the beach, and the complimentary beach chairs each day!! Love the view.

Lots of stains (window curtain, shower curtain, chairs, floor, etc), and lots of broken things (trim at the sink, lamp between the beds), and electrical socket covers were very loose (which is dangerous) and the one between the beds wouldn’t even work. Coffee maker leaked badly. We couldn’t leave our screen door open or enjoy the patio due to smoking below at the tiki bar deck. It filled our room with the smell of smoke.

I will not return ever.

Not at all. Just the location.

When I first arrived I heard a lady next to me that her room had black MOLD on the ceiling, then I became worried how my room would turn out. When I went to my room I saw people in my balcony then I notice I had no balcony just a patio of the bar (NO PRIVACY). Then I looked around everything is old, rusting, and mold on certain places. I went downstairs to see if I can get another room, the guy with blonde hair was off a bat was really annoyed and rude and said they are all sold it and it wasn’t his problem basically. I was so upset and disgusted by room and that one blonde hair guy. Funny I got a call from the another male in front the desk which was an extremely helpful. He gave couple options either I can move down the hall where I I’m not going to be in front of the bar or the next day I can go up a floor. I took the second option, the room was much better. The room was still rusty, dirty, and old and couple of mold in certain places. During my stay my husband went down to ask for towels, the blonde hair guy was there he literally was rude and rolled his eyes at him. Then the guy with dark hair who was there gave us the towels. Overall I will never ever comeback I paid way too much to be mistreated and for having to stay in a hotel that was old, moldy, rusting, and dirty.

We would stay here again...

Location right on boardwalk was great. Check in and out very quick and simple. Room was clean. Cleaning staff was very friendly and responsive.

Rooms are dated. First room had sliding door with broken latch. Second room a/c was not generating cold air.

Wouldn't stay there again.

Location, room furniture, TV. View was good.

The bed was uncomfortable, not supportive. Parking was difficult. Constant smoking around entrance from parking lot by staff. Toilet backed up easily. Shower floor was very bad. Tiny balcony covered in bird droppings.

Nice hotel, enjoyed the view. Stayed because of the great discount

Pros: -the ocean front view was really nice. I suggest reading the review of the room and making sure it’s 3rd floor and above if you want private balcony -the mini kitchen in the room had plates/cups/silverware/dish rack and dish soap provided by the hotel which was a nice touch -hotel offers free beach chair and beach umbrella rental which was unknown to us before we brought our own. -the private parking lot is nice it isn’t free though you pay a $21 fee that covers the parking, chairs, tv service, etc -the pool requires you to use your room key to get in for security but your key isn’t required anywhere else not sure if that is a pro or con depending how you look at it lol

-bed was super uncomfortable, for how much you pay to stay here I was actually surprised. It was very hard. Pillows are also square so if you’re a pillow person like me bring your own - the door to the room slams shut so you constantly hear other people’s doors slam but that’s the only time you hear others unless you have the balcony open. - they lock up the boardwalk entrance at 10pm so you have to walk around the block to the opening through the lobby. (Depends how you look at it could be a con, was kinda annoying but the safety is nice. But there’s no lobby security or no key card requiring you to use room key to open doors so anyone really could walk in anyway so not sure what the difference between a random person walking around vs walking through boardwalk entrance)

Very pleased all around!

Hotel is close to things worth seeing and doing on the boardwalk. Easy parking in hotel's adjoining lot. Staff was very friendly and the room was very clean, with everything perfect and in its place. Also appreciated fresh coffee in the lobby throughout the day.

Checking in and out was fast and easy. The rooms were clean. It was the perfect location for little kids who can’t walk forever on the boardwalk.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. That was the only bad part of our stay

Unfortunately doesn’t have a GYM room to work out and we had ants in our room.
