My stay at Howard Johnsons Hotel

I loved that the hotel was right on the board walk with a few steps from the beach. The rooms were nice with a balcony that gave me a view of the ocean and the bay. The restaurant in the hotel had delicious food. This will be my go to hotel when I vacation in Ocean City, MD

Nor sure if I would stay here again because of the 5 star price, but the room was more 3 star.

Nice to be on the Ocean, but extremely expensive.

Arguing couple next door. Yelling and things thrown and broken. Our room was upgraded which was nice.

I liked that we were right on the beach. And the view was very nice.

Relaxing, comfortable, easy, and clean very clean.

it was right on the beach with a plethora of food choices in and around the hotel. the staff was kind and friendly. I needed batteries for a contraption my wife brought and she was kind enough to offer if the had the correct size. my stay was for 4 days and each morning whoever the desk person was greeted us warmly and with care. I’m going to put this on my return list. I only wished the still sold that macaroni and cheese. this probably gives away my age. lol.

After checking in and getting our room from the long drive I desperately had to use the bathroom. and the first flush clogged the toilet. I thought it was a sign. Yet they sent someone right away to take care of it and it was amazing after.

Comfortable

Hotel is on the boardwalk! Free off street parking. Indoor pool and hot tub. You can text the front desk amd they are very responsive.

We went during a low/cold time amd very little was open. No restaraunt on site.

The hotel and staff provided a clean, safe and friendly environment.

I really enjoyed the oceanfront room, as requested. The room was very clean and updated. The walkin shower was a bonus! The location of being right on the boardwalk was very convenient.

I would have liked a more comfortable style chair. I inquired about a sofa type chair prior to arrival but desk clerk said none were in t;he type room that I had reserved,

Passable

The location was perfect however if I went again I would choose a location closer to 25th st. I was able to walk right onto the boardwalk and beach.

Parking was pretty bad due to the garage being full most of the time. The pool was not very clean and a lot of the vents had a ton of dust on them!!

Requested room with view. Recd a room with the roof view of a restaurant. Room was extremely small. Not worth the money at all.
