Great getaway destination.

We loved the distance from town and the view was fantastic. It was a very relaxing place to be and very private setting.

Our stay was great and will do it again.

This was our 2nd time staying at the lodge. Neville and Kerrie are great hosts. The lodge is neat, tidy. The refreshments in the mini kitchen are layed out thoughtfully.

The room was comfortable, and the amenities were great. However, the water pressure in the shower was a bit low. I wanted to wash my hair but decided not to, as it would have taken a long time to rinse out the shampoo and conditioner. Aside from that, everything else was perfect, and we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our NZ trip

Lovely and clean lodge. Views are amazing. Lots of extra touches, ropes, toiletries & a basket of continental breakfast 😋 to enjoy in your lodge at a time that suits you.

We walked into town using the footpath (30 minutes) & we couldn't get a taxi back as none available, so we had to walk back in the dark. It had been the Beach Hop, so I think all taxis were having a rest - so not our accommodations fault.

Our dream place by the sea.

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay.It looked as if it had been designed and equipped by a professional interior designer and it had a stunning sea view.It was set in the owner’s private immaculate gardens and we were welcomed to walk around them.We were made to feel very welcome and were given directions and recommendations for dinner.There was a very nice continental breakfast left for us to enjoy at our leisure on the terrace.

Breakfast not good enough. Lack of choice compared to an English B&B. Limited selection provided in room on a help your self basis. No hot food.

A lovely escape

Loved our terrace overlooking the gardens. Our room was spotless, and comfortable, with everything you might need. There was a very peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Hosts recommended a great restaurant in town, walked in via the shortcut, and the owner's daughter drove us home! Such a gorgeous place, felt rested after our visit.

Paradise

This place is amazing! The views are stunning, the rooms are light, airy, and nicely decorated. Kerrie and Neville were so helpful and friendly. The gardens are beautiful, home to many native birds and their lovely songs. We really enjoyed the pretty walk from the lodge into town.

We stayed for 1 night at this lovely and peaceful place. The Cottage Tui was comfortable with a nice balcony and an outstanding view. Would definitely stay again.

Some fresh fruits for breakfast and it would have been perfect for us.

loved every minute of my stay. one of the best and I would definitely recommend you stay here!

loved everything!!!! the room was amazing and the owners were so lovely. this stay would have to be one of the best I have ever experienced. I will definitely sat here again. little picnic chocolate bars. the little kitchen equipped with Vogel bread, crumpets, butter, jams, muesli with yoghurt and milk, fresh orange juice… wow 🤩 simply amazing. the sheets were clean and the bed super comfy! I loved this room and my stay. thank you so much.

a tremendously enjoyable 3 days at a great location

great deal of privacy! Very friendly and helpful hosts! Brilliant location with a stunning view! We felt ‘home’ immediately. The toughest part was to leave the place after 3 nights as we had to continue our trip.

Everything was fabulous

Everything was fabulous and the view was a huge bonus ! The breakfast was a surprise and included a big selection. Bed was so comfortable and wondering around the garden was a highlight too. Wished we could stay much longer!!

Extremely enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

New owners have narrowed services. (No meals provided. ) Therefore desirable to supply a food heating option and basic dish washing equipment. The new owners regularly offer to replace used crockery and cutlery and have update plans well underway. Great service in the meantime.
