Exceptional accomadation and food.

The owners and staff were lovely and helpfull. Location was perfect because the bar its self serves the best food in the area by far.

Excellent hotel with super amazing hosts

Large room with very modern facilities. Super comfy and excellent breakfast. Service is over and above the bar. Would stay there again

Luxury room in a cosy pub

Gorgeous room with outstanding bathroom in a lovely cosy pub. Delicious cooked breakfast. Only sorry that we weren't staying longer!

Very decent little hotel. Highly recommend !

Comfortable bed, decent shower, loads of facilities. Tidy and tasteful. Dinner was excellent too !

Parking is a bit inconvenient if you can't get a spot in front of the hotel.

Clean comfortable with a little bit of luxury

The decoration and layout of the bedrooms was perfect. Comfortable nice touches with the robe in the bathroom the shower gel was lovely. Towels were good quakes was the bedding. Food in the restaurant was very good. Staff were helpful and lovely.

There was a few cobwebs around the gusto machine didn’t work. It was warm in the room. Had trouble changing the thermostat for the room. Couldn’t get it off 23.

Hidden gem

It was a touch of luxury packaged in history. There were some nice little touches and it was well presented with all mod cons. Lovely bathroom, light up mirror, good TV with lots of channels, breakfast was great and staff were excellent. Even though there were a few small things it was in no way a big issue and did not deteact from the great stay and beautuful, thoughtful and well presented accommodation. We would have happily stayed longer and would definitely consider returning.

Only one towel, robe and slippers proved for two of us. The water seemed to go cold in the shower intermittently and the shower also didn't drain too well as the floor wasn't sloped, so you had to stand in a puddle to try and dry off. I also caught my foot and toes on the edge of the shower as it was not obvious that there was a tiny and fairly sharp lip. These were little things and overall easily resolved. I chose not to seek assistance with things such as the water temp issue and the robes as we came in late from a festival and were only staying one night

Lovely accommodation with great attention to detail and very clean. My husband and I stayed one night but would be more than happy to return.The evening meal was delicious and presented beautifully. Breakfast gave a good choice with the porridge being especially tasty. Amy and Will were very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely pub

Warm and friendly reception from owners and locals. The room was very smart, spacious and has a new bathroom. The bar was cosy and had a great selection of local ciders which we were able to try before buying.

A fantastic inn, the outside belies what is within. 4 of us, 2 couples stayed for 2 nights and were so impressed, from the outset. The staff are so friendly and helpful, attentive and professional. We felt so at ease. The rooms are so luxurious and we have never stayed anywhere so clean. We will return, had the best time, highly recommended.

A perfect stay

absolutely lovely and well thought out accommodation. I slept so well and the room and bathroom are large and comfortable. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world and this place is better than some of them. amazing value for money, superb breakfast and very welcoming staff. Welcoming friendly and relaxing atmosphere with exceptional food

The room had plenty of space to store luggage. The interior is modern and comfortable. Especially the bathroom was big, had separated shower and bathtub so that also longer relaxing stays are possible. Although the room is behind the Pub it was calm so that we slept well. The staff was welcoming and friendly so that we felt at home. The food in the restaurant is of exceptional quality. We visit the restaurant for years and always plan a visit when we are near Wincanton.

We had nothing to complain.

Great overnight stay

Excellently tastefully appointed rooms. Great sized room and especially bathroom. Attention to detail was superb. Lovely products in bathroom. We also dined in the pub. Food was excellent quality and great value for money. Staff were pleasant, helpful and accommodating.

Noise from upstairs was a problem for an hour before we slept. Otherwise no negatives

Interesting place.to stay in Somerset

The room was lovely and had a really comfortable bed. Walk In hot shower . Lovely products . Coffee machine with genius amounts of coffee pods. The food at the Pub was very good . We will definitely go back .

We liked everything. Would love to go back and explore the interesting shops and coffee shops

Did not have breakfast. If it's as good as the take away meals it will be very good. Location ideal for us! Staff and owners are friendly and welcoming.
