Very nice and clean apartment within walking distance to historical district. Spacious bedrooms facing quiet street. This place worked well for 2 families (8 people total). Keep in mind that there is no living room/common area to hangout, except kitchen. This was not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind if you planning to spend time at the apartment. One of the showers was awkwardly designed and was a bit hard to use without spraying water outside of the tub. Not a huge deal, but a little quirk. Good communication with the host over WhatsApp. Secure inexpensive parking within 8-10 minute walk just across the river. Would stay there again and spend more time in Verona.

Overall this is a good central location close to public parking and just outside the city walls. My sister, I and some of our family members were staying in Verona because we have relatives living in the area and wanted a place for 3 nights nearby. I had booked with VRBO well in advance and when one of the family members looked into it independently…they thought it might be a scam. It was very difficult to verify and in the end we just had to pull the trigger and hope for the best. I had rented a place in Venice for the days prior, both from the same VRBO site and there was no problem with that one. I had arranged with Sirmone to meet with my relatives a month prior to the stay so they could verify the location was legit and give us suggestions for meeting places and/or restaurants. When they showed up for an appointment, Simone did not show up. They had driven a long distance, waited 30 min, called him & what they told me was he was unable to meet with him and they were unable to schedule another appointment before our stay because of his availability. When I followed up with VRBO they explained this was a legitimate rental property and that Simone had got into a car accident on the way to the appointment. Finding the place was a nightmare because my internet did not work in Italy. When I called Simone he was helpful. With all the one way, and narrow streets, it was ridiculously that we didn’t get the address sooner!

Great location to experience Verona!
Great location to experience Verona!
Great place in community close to a few local restaurants, market and coffee shops. Plus a 4 minute walk to the arena and all the shops. Communicating w manager was easy. Kitchen was stocked with necessary supplies if you need to cook or prepare food. There’s also 2 balconies for 2 of the 4 rooms to get a view of the local street. Parking can be an issue if you’re driving, but the manager will suggest a garage not too far away.
