This house was PERFECT for our group of 11 ladies in town to celebrate an upcoming wedding. The beds were comfortable, the main living space is open and beautiful - there was plenty of seating for a large group. The location was great - plenty of street parking in a lovely neighborhood and it’s a quick ride down into the Quarter. The only smallest of hiccups (and I really mean smallest..) was that the kitchen didn’t have a blender, so we improvised - and the water pressure at the kitchen sink was pretty low. These weren’t an issue at all, just an observation. Overall - this was absolutely wonderful and we would absolutely rebook for a future stay!

Our stay was very nice on Josephine Street. Very spacious, and very nice open area for the family. Neighbors had a few issues. Be sure to lock up.

we loved the house! super cute and spacious. the beds are extremely comfy! for the most part had good communication w the host, we had a sink leaking and just took a while to get someone out to fix. we enjoyed our stay, thanks for hosting us!

Josh’s place was great! The location is perfect right above St Charles and a close walk to Magazine street. The photos do not do justice to the size and how up to date it is. It was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We really appreciated how many mirrors and full length mirrors there were for a house of girls getting ready. Josh and his team were very responsive. There was an issue with the first floor AC working when we arrived and it was an abnormally warm weekend in March but someone came in 45 minutes of us reaching out to fix it and when he wasn’t able to they sent an electrician who came the next morning at 9 am. While it was a bummer to not have AC the first night it was much appreciated how quick they were to fix it. Don’t hesitate booking this house for your group, you won’t be disappointed and we’ll definitely recommend it to our friends!

The house was beautiful, house is an older house so the doors stuck sometimes, but I love older houses so we really had no problems with that. The only problem I had is that street is a busy street, so not very quite. More trash cans outside, we filled the trash can outside and we were only there 4 days. I would stay again because the house had enough rooms and bathrooms for my large family. Had a small problem with the heating unit upstairs but Josh resolved it immediately

The host was very efficient and professional. The check in process was easy. The home was clean and appears exactly as the photos. We made use of the large well supplied kitchen. The beds were comfortable. We were able to sleep 1 to a room since there are 5 bedrooms. The few quirks to the house were minor and did not affect the enjoyment of our stay. We would use this property again in the future.

Although this property had a couple of maintenance issues, the owner was quick to respond and resolve.
The size was perfect for our family and especially the upstairs rooms are all spacious with very nice beds!
We would consider this property again for sure!

This home was so well kept & designed! I loved the updated feel with the integrity of the history/age of the home. The host, Josh, had plenty of things well stocked in the home and was a great & quick communicator when it came to any questions we may have had. This home was perfect for our bachelorette group of 10 and had easy access to the St. Charles street car that took us straight to bourbon street (and the app was so user friendly!!). I would absolutely stay at Josh’s home again and would recommend that you do the same if you’re considering so! Just make sure to push hard on all the doors if they feel locked, this is an old home so they tended to stick a little, but once Josh let us know to push harder it was easy 😂 Thank you so much for a great experience, Josh 😊

We really enjoyed the property, it was very spacious, the neighborhood was very quiet, and the house was in great condition. FYI: I was able to park my Yukon Denali in the driveway, but i had to climb out the back to get out the truck. So, I recommend a midsized SUV or a small car.

Great stay in New Orleans. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens, stove/fridge/washer/dryer all very up to date and working well. Very nice open floorplan downstairs. The host responded to our questions quickly and helpfully. Plenty of street parking and limited off street. Good restaurants at a variety of price points close by. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was very comfortable and the perfect size for me and my group of friends. Communication with the host was excellent. We had a small hiccup with the air conditioning and the host responded right away and was beyond helpful. The location was just a short drive away from all the places we wanted to go. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We came to New Orleans for a bachelorette party and had the best time at this house! There was plenty of space for 10 ladies. The house was clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the showers/bathrooms were very nice!! The space was perfect for our group and in an excellent location! The host communicated quickly, and they even came out immediately when a smoke detector started beeping due to low battery. I HIGHLY recommend this house!

This property is incredible! Five bedrooms with comfortable beds and the living/kitchen space excellent for lounging, we really enjoyed our stay here. There is a cute little coffee shop a couple of blocks away, the street car is a 2 block walk, this place is central to everything you want to do in New Orleans. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, ample space and comfortable beds. Could use more shelves, an armoire or 2. No closets in some rooms. But minor discomforts. Kitchen with everything you need and more.

We had enough space in this updated, older home for 9 adults to enjoy the living and kitchen area and sleep in comfortable beds. The location was perfect, about halfway between Uptown and French Quarter. Access to the trolley was easy and we used a 3 day Jazzy pass. Rouses market was a couple stops away. Basic supplies in the kitchen if you want to cook. It was chilly the night we arrived and the extra blankets we requested arrived same day. The front bedrooms can hear street noise. The upstairs bathroom has a leak that dripped in the main room, but the owner was aware and working on it. Glad he didn’t cancel our stay to repair it! The downstairs shower faucet has a “sweet spot” and it took a few tries to find where the water is warmest. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay.

We loved the design of the space, and the decor and overall look and feel. Appreciated that we were located a couple blocks away from the St. Charles Streetcar line.
The hosts were very responsive and accommodating for our group. They provided good information prior to check-in to help make our experience in New Orleans as seamless as possible.

Up and coming location
As with many of the properties in this area, the neighborhood is transforming for the better and this property is in a convenient location to walk to the trolley or ride-share anywhere in NOLA.
This property has obviously been recently renovated and still need a few details completed to bring it up to 5-stars. It needs more furniture in the bedrooms for guests to unpack their suitcases and hang garments. Currently, there are no dressers, armoires, or closets for this. Many or the small fixtures such as toilet paper holders and towel bars are not properly attached and are hanging loosely and of the 3 bathroom vanities, there is no provision (small console tables, etc) to put personal toiletries during your stay. Also, the first floor living areas need window coverings as the neighbors have a birds-eye view into the place.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, is to recognize that this place is set-up as historic duplex, not exactly a mansion for sole occupancy. As such, you are able to hear each and every word and the movements of the guests in the adjacent unit at all levels when occupied. During our stay, the neighbors got a little rowdy into the night and we got very little sleep. You could also hear every footstep they took every morning. This is typical of this style of construction and something we didn't consider when booking. Also, the clothes washer is located right in the living room area and is probably the loudest washing machine we have ever heard. We stuck to laundry when we knew we were going to be out for the day so we didn't have to listen to it.
Overall, the place is clean and well appointed in the kitchen with lots of glassware, flatware, and dishes you would need for a larger group. Check-in and communication with management was responsive and accommodating.
Unrelated to the property itself, New Orleans is experiencing the same same staffing challenges as the hospitality industry nationwide. Many restaurants are closing early and/or are significantly modifying their operational hours each day. If you don't secure a dining option by 7:00 p.m., don't expect to have many choices for eating, especially after 8:00 p.m. Don't rely on websites to accurately reflect the actual hours of operation and it is best to call to confirm operating hours. Hopefully this will improve as time goes-on.

Birthday Fun!!
I loved this place. Everyone in my group loved this place. It fit all ten of us perfectly. Great location! So many restaurants just around the corner. The beds were really comfortable. The only thing I wish this place had was a full length mirror. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay here. Next time I come I will be picking this house again.

Beautiful house to have as our home
Overall, I was in love with this property. The space looked exactly like the pictures and when I got to see it in person after months of having booked it, I was very pleased. From the kitchen/dining room/living room to the bedrooms, it was all so beautifully decorated. The kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were well stocked which helped us really feel at home, and there was a TV in almost every room which was really great for our group especially after a long day of exploring NOLA and wanting to unwind in our individual rooms. The area is also very beautiful to walk around in the morning and sightsee all the historic homes not even two blocks away. I would say there's small misses in not having a nice body mirror placed anywhere and the wifi was a bit slow, but these are all things that didn't really impact our trip that much.
We had an issue with a leakage and the fire alarm, but Josh was very communicative and answered back in no time, helped us fix the issue as soon as he could.
I am so grateful to have had this spot for our vacation, it truly elevated our time in NOLA! Would love to come back again.
