Overall amazing experience. The basement property was plenty spacious for the 6 adult guests we had. Had a quick question regarding check-in and the host answered immediately and was very kind. Walking distance to almost everywhere we wanted to go. was worried about the parking based on some reviews but there was ample parking for my large SUV. Overall 10/10. Thank you!

Clean little basement apartment..3 bedrooms but small living areas and two seating eating table....smell of air freshener was a little overbearing especially if you have asthma or allergies ....the stairs on the way down to basement would be hard if you have leg or mobility problems other than that was ok

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The location is great- close to things but quiet and peaceful. Was worried it might feel damp being that it is a basement unit, but it was not an issue. The parking is tight but luckily the next spot was not taken during our stay. Will definitely consider coming back!

Property is well maintained, clean, and spacious. I was with a group of 5, and while there are 3 bedrooms, the couch is large enough that it works just fine for sleeping on. The location is great, just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. The check-in and check-out process was super easy. We tripped a breaker in one of the rooms, and the host was very quick to respond. I definitely recommend this host!

Jess’ property is well maintained and was in a perfect location - two blocks to the beach and downtown Rehoboth avenue. It was a quiet block and easy to access everything. We stayed with our family and our toddler on this trip. As a mom, a few things just for other moms interested in staying here. We had plenty of room for a compact highchair and a pack and play. There were some outlets that we needed to use outlet covers for, as my son could reach them. Again, so close to everything so if we needed to run back for a nap or bedtime, it was easy. The kitchen was great, as we were able to make breakfast and lunches for the beach. The only complaint, which isn’t really a complaint, was parking. It’s a little tight, and had two large SUVs with us. It was a little tricky in the beginning, but once we were in, we were fine. Id recommend bringing one smaller car if possible, just so it’s easier to get in. My only other feedback for the stay is that the AC units were a little noisy, we would have appreciated some more trash bags/toilet paper/paper towels (as six people ran through all very quickly) and we would have liked bath mats in the bathroom. Overall, it was a really wonderful stay and we appreciated Jess’ hospitality!

My four friends and I had the best time at this lovely property! Everything was clean and the space is decorated so beautifully. The location is prime!
Just be aware that parking is a bit tight for large vehicles, stairs are steep and narrow (could be trickier for less abled bodies), and there are only two bath towels provided.

Property was cute, clean, and as pictured and a comfortable size for our group of 5 adults and 3 kids (2 babies). Great location too. A few things worth noting:
Stairs were a little steep so that may be a factor for some. Also the parking was extremely narrow and if there were cars in the first couple of spots, it was nearly impossible to get through so you definitely could not park a larger vehicle here (or you risk either hitting someone or getting blocked in/out of the parking area). We pretty much parked and didn't move the car til we left. We otherwise had basically everything we needed. The only weird rule for a beach vacation spot was we weren't allowed to hang out stuff out to dry. Made it difficult to manage an entire family's sandy clothing and towels after a beach day because even if you rinsed it all in the outdoor shower, you couldn't get all of the sand off this way, and you would still have to bring sopping wet stuff inside of the apartment, rather than letting it dry outside. There was a small drying rack and towel hooks in the bathroom but with sandy beach stuff, you may want to consider a clever alternative solution, especially with a larger group. A larger group should also consider bringing extra bath towels/washcloths/hand towels as those were limited. They did apparently have a laundry area for the building but we didn't see it listed on the VRBO post and didn't know it existed/we had access to it until our last day. But overall, great location, great size spot for what it's for, and the walk to the beach was not too far. Would definitely stay again with these few things in mind to plan ahead for!

This was a very nice and clean place to stay. The owner is very friendly and responsive to any issues you might have. We definitely appreciated the A/C pumping when we arrived, since it turned out to be very first HOT weekend of the summer. We felt very comfortable staying at the apartment and it a very short walk to the beach and restaurants downtown.

We wanted a place we could park the car and walk everywhere. This finished basement was reasonably priced and close to everything we wanted to get to.

The rental property was an updated basement which was never conveyed in the rental listing. The dishwasher was broken and could not be used. The window blinds and shades were dirty, broken, and torn. There was no access to the laundry room, and there were very few common amenities. The silverware was dollar store quality, there was limited seating for eating breakfast, lunch, or snacks.
The unit stated it could sleep nine, yet there was seating and dishes for five people maximum.
The parking was tight and the yard/parking area was unkempt.
We were charged $200.00 for linen and bedspread due to a mosquito bite that bled while I was sleeping. By the way, the bedsheets were acrylic and very poor quality.

Just a couple of blocks from the beach and a great location for walking to the beach or to the shops/restaurants. Apartment had all of the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. The bath towels were great as was the shower. There were no hand towels provided so you may want to take your own. I think the only downside was the portable AC units throughout the house. The living room unit worked well, but was a bit on the noisy side. The units in two of the bedrooms worked so-so. Overall I think this basement apartment is fine for a few days, but not a full week during a hot summer. Jess is a great host and very responsive.

Smooth and seamless stay, in private beach hideaway. Great place and and great experience.
Stayed with my infant son, wife, and sister, during 4th of July. Location is great, just two blocks to the beach.
Clean basement apartment that can fit a lot of guests. The spot was clean and has everything you need. 3 bedrooms and two pullouts. 3 people were very comfortable in the space. 2 parking spots made it easy to leave our car and walk everywhere during a busy holiday.
Communication was great.
There is a small table outside in the backyard to use for card playing, or whatever. No other balcony or anything like that in this unit (unit D).
Would come back in the future.

Great location to beach, restaurants and boardwalk! We walked everywhere we needed to go. So easy to enjoy the area. The rental is clean and had plenty of room for 6 adults . It is decorated well and is bright for a basement condo. Would definitely stay again !

It was a great property. The stair case to the property is narrow but we were shocked when we opened the doors to how cute and nice the place was. Great location short walk to beach and all the restaurants, bars, and shops. We will stay there again.

The location is two blocks from the beach and the place was spotlessly clean. My feedback is that the experience could be improved by the addition of linens (only two towels and a single washcloth) as promised in the listing; that it is a basement with steep stairs to access it should be noted prominently; and that the mattresses were just incredibly hard to sleep on and the beds lacked a box spring, with only plywood underneath. The owners were responsive to a minor issue, and the place is well decorated and cute for being a basement. We had a great time overall, and appreciated the price, but those beds made it very hard to rest after a day at the beach.

Beautiful place in a great location
Beautiful basement condo with off-street parking. The pictures are very accurate. Decor is modern/contemporary and the unit was very clean, like 100% spotless. Owner provided nice touches like snacks and a few coffee pods for the machine.
Location is great, 2 blocks to the beach, two streets over from Rehoboth Ave. Park the car in the back and no need to touch it again until you leave to go back home.
Couple notes: The entry stairs might be a bit challenging for someone with mobility issues, and if you’re over 6’ just watch your head on the bedroom doorways.
Would happily stay here again!
