About this house rental

This quiet townhouse is isolated from other neighbors and located minutes away from Ted Steven International Airport, Campbell Creek Trail, Kincaid park and trails, shopping and more. This is a great base location for your adventures in the last great frontier. We offer 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath. The Master bedroom has a queen super comfy mattress as well as a comfortable futon. There is also a 55" TV. The second bedroom offers a Tempur Pedic California King size bed. All of our bedding and linens are fresh and new. There is a small backyard with patio for you to enjoy the long hours of Alaska daylight. There is a washer and dryer upstairs for your convenience as well as a dishwasher in the fully stocked (pots pans utensils etc. ) kitchen.
The garage may be available in the summer for an extra fee, please inquire before booking. Normally available in the winter no charge.

The property was very nice with the only drawback being that it was in the back of the building so Uber and food delivery couldn't find it so had to go around to the front of the building and wait for them. That's why the 4 star on location.

Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Nicely furnished, including new kitchen appliances. Very clean. Extra power outlets on end tables in living room as well as on nightstand in bedroom. Very nice for charging phones, tablets, etc. Owner promptly answered any questions we had.

Definitely condo central. Good location near the airport. Condo was very clean except for the carpet. All of the basics provided. I would recommend this place as long as you can climb stairs to get to the bedrooms. 4/5 stars

Look, the price was great! Can’t stay for this price and not expect something. The dog crapping in the front yard next to the car that was up on blocks, and some questionable people as neighbors…look past it all. The place was nice! Good furniture. Fits probably 7-8 ppl! Parking around back felt more secure! Good home function. Responsive owner. Would stay here again (price and internal comfort wins)!

We were in town for just a few nights. The location was convenient for our purposes, and communication with the owner was great. The property was very quiet in the evenings too, which we greatly appreciated and Scott shared some helpful info about places to go and things to do!

We enjoyed our stay, it's well-appointed townhouse, lovely wolf-themed decor. The house is in a great location, close to downtown and to the airport. We didn't cook but the kitchen seems very well equipped for those who like to cook.

The place was super clean, smelled so good, and was very cozy, super comfortable beds. My kids loved it!!!! I highly recommend this host. Scot was always available to respond to any questions or concerns. Driveway to the back of the place has a big pot hole, but that’s a city issue. Scott allowed us to park in the front of the property which was super nice of him. Thanks!

Booking and chatting with Scott was easy and convenient. Home was wonderful. We felt very safe and cozy! 2 bedrooms upstairs that share a bathroom with a shower/tub. TV downstairs and in the 2nd bedroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Washer/dryer upstairs was great! Beds were really comfy and showers were very warm! Nothing bad to stay about the stay. Would definitely recommend!!

Very nice property, I liked the wolf theme with the pictures, etc. The heat definitely rose to the top level making it rather (almost too) warm. Otherwise, nice comfortable house.

The property manager was very helpful when I asked questions about the property. Very prompt response. We enjoyed our stay away from home. The lower level was great for family time. Upstairs, the beds were clean & comfortable. The in-house washer and dryer was very quiet. Thank you.

This was our second time staying with this host and we hope to do so again in future years. Scott is responsive when needed. The Wolf Den is perfect for a base while visiting Alaska. Scott provided clear instructions for driving to the property, garbage, etc. and has reasonable requests for guests when leaving (NO binder with long cleaning lists!). The kitchen is nicely stocked with dishes and utensils, even a new air fryer. There were a few snacks put out and a hugely nice thing is that there are supplies provided like paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, shower soap to use if desired. No need to have to go to the store right away and buy all of those things and end up not using the whole packs anyway. Overall, it is a great experience staying at this property and made our time in the Anchorage area much more relaxing and better versus staying in a hotel.

The property was very nice. The kitchen was furnished very well. The beds were very comfortable. The living room furniture was very comfortable. We were traveling with my wife’s elderly parents and the half bathroom on the main level was fantastic. The outside deck was very nice to sit on in the evening. The overall area was pretty nice. The only negatives were the area by the front door flooded when it rained hard. However we could exit off of the deck and get to the parking space from there without much trouble. The access road between the other two properties also had a big flooded pool you had to drive through when it rained hard. Both of these issues could be fixed up fairly easily with some extra dirt or gravel placed properly. Other than the water problems the property is very nice and it did what we needed to do very well.

Family of 6 traveling in Alaska- we’ve stayed in Anchorage, Seward, and Denali. This VRBO was our favorite in terms of comfort and cleanliness. We slept like babies. Location is good, not super close to downtown or waterfront- but we had a rental vehicle so this was not a problem for us. Great communication with the manager, and we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend the Wolf Den, and if we get back up to Anchorage anytime soon, we would happily stay here again

We enjoyed staying at this property. It is clean and has comfy beds. There is no AC and the sun does warm up the upstairs but there are fans. Kitchen well stocked. Private parking. Scott is an excellent communicator. I would rent this property again.

The property was perfect for our stay. As life long Alaska’s that now reside in the lower 48, the wolf den was centrally located allowing us to easily get to the valley and eagle river. It was the perfect size and sleeping arrangement for my husband and I, and my Mom. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water and great pressure (something my family always rates when we stay new places). Check in and contact with the owner was super easy and prompt! I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Anchorage area! Only one minor critique is a screen on each bedroom windows to let the cool evening and morning breezes in without the potential for mosquitos. We would stay there again the next time we get to come “home”.
