I’d say it was a good place to stay n the rooms were good!

Un acceptable. Room so bad we left and went elsewhere.
Dirty is too clean a word, blood on sheet, hair in bed,
human semen on floor. Absolutely terrible. Maid should be fired. Manager a nice guy but kind of neutral.
never will stay at Extended Stay again. would like some compensation for the embarrasment of my wife and grand daughter. I had gone to a meeting so they left and waited two hours nearby at MacDonalds. Tramatized.

Kids are been pick up for school - people have pets… and breakfast is at least some coffee :-)
Well cheap but not really for staying.

We were denied entry into the building until check in time. When we made reservations, we notified the hotel that we had two small dogs. When we checked in at 3:10 p.m. after waiting for the one person on the desk, she stated that they only had one pet room left and unfortunately it was on the third floor and we could not access the exits as they were locked at all time. I had to take one of my dogs outside at 2:30 a.m. and there were drug addicts in the parking lot looking into the parked vehicles. There were no designated dog areas with lighting. It was extremely dangerous to be outside. There was dog feces all over the rocks. There were a couple of men fighting in the hallway upstairs which prompted another guest to leave the hotel. The rooms were in very bad shape. There were holes punched in the doors and the furniture looked like it came from Goodwill. NEVER would I recommend anyone going to this hotel.

Allowed pets.

Have stayed here in the past. Returned due to familiarity.

No power in bedroom receptacles. Staff moved us to second room. TVs in second room were dark and hard to see. Staff was very accommodating.

Scary, location is near the road where homeless people settle.
Hotel building is not great, it’s old.
You need to ask for a coffee maker, hair dryer and extra sheets and pillow at the front desk and no hair dryer is available and they can’t even apologize and say they will find a way so they can provide one.
Will not come back to that “hotel” again.

The location is great-midtown and close to several restaurants. The desk staff is friendly. You get what you pay for and summer in AK is expensive. The grounds are well kept and has decent lighting in the parking lot.
Our room was not well maintained and had a smell in the carpet. We did not attempt to cook though having a kitchen was why I reserved this facility. The stovetop burners looked "iffy" and no cooking pots, pans or utensils were provided. No dishes either. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel except for the affordability factor.

It was filthy. Very bad part of town. Motel where people are just living at.

This was hands down the nastiest hotel I’ve ever entered. I’m assuming it’s in an unsafe neighborhood as the only entrance is the front door- which requires a key card to get into. The room was filthy. Vomit, blood, and other unmentionable fluid stains on the floor. Another family checked in and left just as quick as us for the same reason.

My family and I stayed in Anchorage for a few nights before leaving for Seward to get on a cruise ship. The property was fine and adequate for our purposes. The staff was accommodating and eager to help. The property itself could use a refresh. We could walk to some grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. We needed to take a taxi to get to downtown. It was not that expensive.

Outdated room, stained carpet, patched work at bathrub wall.
2.9
When I got to the room the airconditioning would only blow hot air and the room was 81 degrees. I was there during the CrowdStrike mess and flights were canceled. This was the ONLY room in Anchorage still left.

Spent one night. Room stank like smoke. No other rooms available. Broken down, snd wsy over priced! Wiuld not recommend.

Co venient access from main highway. Rooom worn, chairs and couch had holes in tve upholstery, bathroom dirty, in particular the toilet

Was ok but bad part of town

The hotel is very dirty, as well as the rooms. It looks like the hotel is used for the homeless population. Our first room assigned smelled like dead fish and the 2nd room smelled like wet dog. The carpet was dirty and stained, as well as the furniture. There was gold fish crackers and other food in the wall heater under the window, and the windows were filthy. The hotel had a smell to it and we did not feel safe.
I tried the link to add photos and it would not work.

Old and dated. stains all over the carpet. Noisy. Smell from the trash room was disgusting.
2.9
I was quite comfortable during my two night stay. Aside from traffic, it was very quiet in the hotel. No sounds from adjoining rooms. The staff was friendly and responsive. I would stay there again.
2.9
Very dated and not clean. Furniture was very dirty. Really felt unsafe with the people around the property and cop's were called for break ins.
2.9
The rooms themselves were nice, and the staff was helpful. However there were a lot of "rough clients" loitering around the front door, making noise all through the night, and it made the whole property feel quite run down and mildly sketchy. This is weird because the rest of the neighborhood is lovely. All exterior doors except the front door are non-functional/permanently locked without also triggering the fire alarm. The front door is locked with key card access via your room key, but it made the whole ambiance feel like we were in lock down, or house arrest. The bedroom door in my room had a hole in it where someone had kicked it. I typically love Extended Stay and appreciate their chain... but this particular property is a bit rough and I wont be staying here again.

We had a good time

This might have been the dirtiest hotel. Blood on the carpet. Gum stuck on the carpet. The handles on the dressers were all broken. The noise level was constant.
2.9
Nice quality hotel and i like the kitchen favilities in the room

We visit my brother in assisted home, we plan on him staying with me but he jus had tribal id n no state id so the hotel didnt allow my handycap brother to visit with me, wel have to get state id next time, we were in a stain floor party room but that didnt bother us it was a budget stay.

The pictures online were deceiving. The staff was friendly and there was good water pressure but that was the only positive points. The room was dirty, the carpet was nasty. The pipes knock on the fine smell of marijuana was outside and in. The dog poop in the parking lot was everywhere and they don’t understand about hard pack removal apparently. I absolutely would not consider staying here again with the family.

Rooms had stains all over the carpet hallways and elevators were nasty i will never stay there again

Without going into a lot of detail, hotels in Anchorage should have to post if they are housing homeless or low income families, period. The facility is not clean, you walk thru a cloud of smoke to access the front door that is in lockdown mode during the middle of the day. The parking lot is not plowed or attended to regularly in the winter time apparently as it was very difficult to drive thru comfortably. The front desk takes a picture of your drivers license and registers it on their computer system…not sure why this was necessary. If you wanted anything for your room with a kitchen you had to request each item down to a simple spoon. It felt more like a jail system than a hotel stay…and bonus some tenants liked to do burnouts at 3 am with their diesel truck in the parking lot for an hour or more…it’s not a place I would suggest anyone to stay even if the price is in your ball park.
2.9
Checking in was great. Didn’t like unplowed parking lot. Hard to walk.
2.9
I've stayed here every time I've come to work in Alaska and before this trip it has always been nice. This time it was dirty and the staff was did not seem as if they knew what they were doing. I will not be staying again.

Between the literal off roading maneuvers needed to park in the season long snow pack, while dodging the local transient rift raft loitering (or casing the cars) in the parking lot, the SINGLE towel provided for the 3 person reservation, the UTTERLY ABSENT front desk staff and the discussing state of the room… safe your self the money and sleep in your car! At least that way the strung out mess surrounding it will think twice about breaking in to it! Wish there was ANYONE available to speak to about the room, missing towels, dirty bedding ect… however the three visits to the desk and 4 phone calls would prove that no one works at this place!
2.9
This place is in terrible shape. The parking lot is not maintained, the whole building smells of cigarettes, there are so many things broken, worn, in need of repair or replacement. The lock on my door didn’t work but the latch did. I pushed a table against the door in an attempt to feel safe. It may have ‘looked’ clean but it didn’t feel clean. Like there was a layer of greasy grime on everything. There were only two very thin blankets on the bed. I had to fold them over to keep warm enough. The thermostat was inconsistent. Steady flow of people making noise through the hall and headed out and back in so they could smoke. The employees are very nice and obviously working with what is available to them. I stayed here for convenience but I won’t again. I understand that this is a place for people needing a long-term stay, possibly with children and pets, and that can bring a lot of traffic. But when there are signs of violence on the way to my room, such as doors kicked in and boarded-up, and sounds of unruly guests and possible fighting…not great. I feel like corporate could afford to shut down areas to repair things that are broken and replace disgusting carpet. Fix the interior of the elevator. Get some decent blankets. Maybe someone from corporate needs to stay here a few nights. Lots of outlets. Water was hot but no drain closure in the sink. Good sized fridge and microwave. Two tv’s. Free Wi-Fi and super easy to connect.

In poor repair. Heater needs repair middle of December. Light bulbs out. Couch so worn sitting painfully on the rails. Uggg.

When we arrived to check in. Fire alarm was going off and folks were evacuating. Turned out that someone was cooking and burned food and opened up door which went into halllway. Person checking us was new and took long time to check in. No remote for tv in bedroom and the phone did not work.
2.9
Thermostat didn’t work and even when we adjusted it temperature didn’t go down from 75.
2.9
The tv was hardly working but overall we had a good stay
2.9
It was a pleasant stay

bad smell
