I loved this house. It was so big that even though there was a lot of us staying there, there was plenty of space that we weren't crowded at all. They had tons of little extra amenities like feminine products, floaties for the pool, super comfortable beds, and beach towels, that it really made this place extra special to stay. We had trouble with the Internet and the property manager contacted me immediately and we had it fixed right away. I would definitely stay here again.

Every year the women in my family get away for a weekend. There is usually 25-35 of us so finding a house can be challenging. We had a great time here. Plenty of bedrooms with comfy beds! Loved having a pool & hot tub this year. Very cool house! Thanks for a great stay.

This property & the amenities greatly exceeded our expectations - very spacious & functional for our large group. The cooking & dining areas surpassed our needs for our group of 20 adults and children. All of the amenities were exceptional - we will be planning a return trip.

We picked this site for a central US location for a 50 year college reunion. Property near Hocking Hills met our expectations. The multitude of bedroom, beds plus 2 kitchens and multiple congregation areas made this a great place for large groups. Was also a peaceful quiet area.

We rented this property with family members from Ohio to celebrate my son's graduation. It was truly a magical weekend and a fantastic place to celebrate. The pool and hot tub were pristine, the weather was perfect. The management were extremely responsive and helped correct a water issue within minutes of checking in. We all hope to gather again next year at Valhalla!

We stayed here for my 35th birthday celebration. It was amazing and spacious to host 20 of us! The house was clean, plenty of room for a large group, and the host were so nice and quick to communicate. We had such a great time and enjoyed the house! Would recommend this house for any large group as it was perfect! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

We had about 20 people here for two nights for a work retreat. Everyone was really happy with the quality of the mattress and bedding. The little things make all the difference. We used the media room for a presentation and game night. It was perfect. We had a minor issue with the hot tub and there was someone at the house within an hour fixing the problem. A place this large will always have issues but when you have owners like this property it gets fixed VERY quickly. We were able to relax and recharge in this beautiful home. The layout is also super interesting and a good mix of modern/cabin. We wish the main kitchen and dining table were bigger but that was our only tweak. We will be back again next year!

Awesome property. Plenty of space to hang around with lots of guests. Great place to go and get away from it all. It’s also a nice property if you have a lot of couples - plenty of private rooms with king beds. Would definitely go again.

The property is beautiful and very spacious. It is secluded, but close to everything our varied group was looking for. We would highly recommend Valhalla for large gatherings.

My friends and I like to reunite every few years with our growing families, and this was the perfect place. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around in, comfortable bedrooms, and it was pretty close to several hikes and town. Amenities were great - we all enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fire pit, and the kids especially loved the ping pong table! Place was clean and covered all our needs. We're already talking about booking again!

We had a great stay at Valhalla. The place is massive with lots places to gather and hang out. We drove to nearby hiking spots as the yard is not really conducive. Outdoor fire pit was a hit. We used both kitchens as needed to feed our big crew.

Booked a weekend in early April to celebrate a 70th birthday. Entry was simple and hosts were very responsive. There was more than enough room for our family of 20 to come together but have space when needed. We didn’t have small children with us but some of the moms did notice some areas where we’d have been concerned if our kids were still very young. Just wanted to put that out there for anyone with very young children to be aware of. Would book again, especially in warmer months so we could take advantage of the pool. The hot tub was nice and warm though. We also enjoyed having two fire pits.

The house was all we expected and more. Cool architecture, lots of sleeping arrangements, two kitchens, fire pit, hot tub and pool/ping pong kept 3 generations of our family busy and having fun. Hosts were responsive and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back again.

This place was perfect - plenty of bedrooms and many "living spaces" for people to spread out and have quiet time and or fun and games. Hosts were VERY good with communication. Would stay here again for sure. Only reason I gave it 3 stars for neighborhood as there was really nowhere to walk/hike within walking distance but otherwise great place. Hoping to go back as we just enjoyed being in the cabin!

We hosted our daughter's wedding at this venue, and it was perfect for what we were looking for! All of the bridal party, parents of the couple, and a few friends were able to stay. We made a whole weekend out of it, and EVERYONE loved that we were all able to be under one roof and have plenty of time together. We took advantage of all the house had to offer - HUGE lawn space for wedding and reception, pool table, bar space, hot tub. The bridal couple was ecstatic over the entire weekend!

We rented the house for a Sales Team Retreat. With 10 bedrooms and multiple spots to hang out, this place was perfect! We had an excellent time and highly recommend checking out this great place with your group!

Cons 1) Not Clean (cleaning Service did not do a good job) 2) Pool was dirty and not in good condition (liner) 3) Hot tub was dirty and was not drained and refilled as is typically done 4) Garbage dumped in woods next to yard 5) poor layout (only 2 Bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms, one bedroom up 3 flights of steps with no bathroom near) 6) most showers had at least one problem 7) lack of counter space 8) not enough dining space (2 tables for 4, one table for 6) 9) upstairs ice maker did not work 10) one door had rotting wood. 11) with the check-in email was made aware of $1000 fines for walking in areas not mowed, Quiet time 10 to 8, moving furniture 12) non working outlets
Pictures made this place look better than it was. I would not recommend if you want a place with a pool and hot tub.

If you’re looking for an awesome place for a party, holiday, cookout, reunion or family fun you’ll be very happy! This mega-cabin has all the things you need! Two full kitchens with all the proper tools were great for cooking. 10 bedrooms, 6 baths for guests, & very clean. Modern decor was a really nice touch too! We were happy to have the pool table, rec-room and a ton of indoor space since it rained pretty heavily our second day. The upper grassy area was great for corn-hole set up, there’s a pool to cool off, and a hot tub to warm up! Even a sauna on the lower level! Attached garage made unloading easy and and the additional large parking area up the second driveway was great for fitting all our guests cars. We had a very memorable weekend! Highly recommend, and will definitely re-book for our next weekender trip :) Hillary was super friendly and very accommodating through the entire process. She even checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and were settled in ok. If you’re looking for an awesome weekend get away, this is the one!

This place was great for our family reunion. We have a large immediate family (20+) and this was the only place we could all come together under one roof. There was a large kitchen and eating area where we were all able to sit together and break bread. Sitting and being mindful with nature creates those moments of great conversations with my young adult nieces and nephews as well as having those heart-to-heart with mom and dad. Great place, would rent again for next years reunion.

This is the worst vacation property I have ever rented. When my family and I arrived to this property we noticed the pool looked different from the pictures posted on Vrbo. The pool in the pictures listed on Vrbo had a bigger pool with a slide attached. The pictures also showed a pool that went up to 5ft while the pool at the property was about 3ft. The pool and hot tub water was cloudy and also had a strong “egg like” or sewage smell. The hot tub also was missing the cleaning agent that goes in the hot tub itself. So I contacted the owner of the property numerous times to have him come clean the pool and hot tub. The owner lied several times! He told my family the pool was cleanse by himself while we were there. Which was one of the numerous lies he told. He never came to property. He did sent a person to clean the pool however we could not get in the pool due to the new chemicals. When my family and I was told it was safe to finally swim in the pool. The pool water turned from cloudy to green. I was also told by the owner he would reimburse my family for the inconvenience and never got the reimbursement. I will not ever rent from this property again.

Beautiful property
This property had spacious bedrooms, very comfortable king size beds, and thoughtful amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, sugar, and the essentials! Everyone that stayed loved the hot tub and the pool table was a huge hit!

Hocking Hills Home
We were ages 4 months to 76 yrs. old. First large get-together in ages. The house is great for a large group. Most well-equipped place we’ve ever stayed at. Everyone loved it!

The setting was beautiful! There was plenty of room for all the family and the kids had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave and we’re asking if we could make this an annual trip!
