Location was fabulous for salamanca, the harbour and Battery Point. The Living room/ kitchen was really nice and great space to be together. All the rooms had heaters and beds had electric blankets. Glad there was a half bathroom upstairs as main bathroom downstairs. Double glazing on front windows stops all the traffic noise and lets the light in. Parking spot was great and close to house. Dave the host was very responsive.
Booking.com advertised 2 bathrooms but its really 1.5. Wouldn’t stop us staying here again though as the place is great.

Beds were uncomfortable as were the chairs in lounge. Could only see tv from one seat. Not a comfortable property but great location

Parking was a problem, I read it was included in the costs and for the first 2 nights we had no allocated parking and we had to pay $20 for each of the last 2 nights.

Fantastic location , awesome little house with some very lovely personal touches .
On arrival , a basket of local goodies was left in the kitchen for us to enjoy .
If you're looking for something a little more traditional , some old world charm and almost a little quirky ,55 Davey Street is it.. Plenty of room for our group of 2 couples and one single.
Communication with the owner easy also. Any questions answered quickly.
Will be our go to whenever in Hobart in the future .
