Everything was spot on good hotel and spa. Would recommend
Was all good

Rooms are massive and beautifully appointed. Even walking down the corridors feels like an experience. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
Surrounding area doesn't lend itself to walking into the city centre. But, taxis are only about £6 to get to the important bits of the city centre.

The construction and the concept
Need extra lights in floor and room.

Large bedroom
Spa was disappointing. Lack of attention to detail. Torn and tattered dressing gowns. Hotel staff were not friendly other than reception

Amazing looking building. Spa was fantastic
Nice view from the room just wish the weather was better.
Room was much smaller than said, no sofa or armchair as shown in photos.
The corridors were was too dark tripped twice because its complete darkness at all times of the day.
Hotel staff were not very friendly.
Hotel is far out from everywhere. City centre is a good 30 mins walk.

Beautiful spacious room, night staff really helpful. Our first room had a window stuck open making the room very loud and cold so we were quickly swapped to another room.
Very loud hotel, cleaners and banging from 8am. Bathroom fan on constantly very loud. Spa not included in hotel price and not available unless pre booked which I wasn’t made aware of on booking.

The room was great, very big and very comfortable.
We did not have dinner, but the breakfast was excellent.
Not too keen on paying for on site parking, but only £8 and the hotel was very good value as well.

Everything was perfect from start to finish, we were greeted at reception by a lovely guy who very kindly offered us a free room upgrade which was so lovely as I’d booked the break as a surprise treat for my boyfriends birthday and he offered some great suggestions where to go out for food.
All the staff we met were superb, the food in Stanley’s was delicious and great service again, as was the rum bar.
The hotel was spotless and beautiful, our room was huge with a very comfy bed. The amenities were great and I loved the espa products.
I also booked the Maya wellness spa which was just amazing, so relaxing and beautifully laid out this was by far the best part of our stay.

The staff was cheerful and helpful. The room was extremely spacious and clean with every possible amenity available. The morning breakfast was decent. I can definitely recommend this hotel and will come back again on our next visit.
Neither in the bar nor in the dining restaurant, no bill can be put on your room to pay at checkout. It is not an inconvenience, but I found it strange.

Nothing at all. Distance from the station is a bit difficult if you don’t drive but you can always get a taxi!

Spa and hotel look
Sleeping. The bed was so hard. The pillows went even pillows. They were so hard and about 15 inches high. What ever happened to normal soft pillows. Would have been great , but let the sode down and we both had a nightmare sleep with bad necks in morning, waking up constantly, using towels as a make shift pillow
