Very nice family friendly neighborhood with walking trails and many wildlife encounters! It was a great place to stay during our daily trips around the area. The issues that we have experienced at the house was the dishwasher had a bad odor ( I was going to do a self clean but buttons wouldn’t work) so we washed by hand (no big deal they left supplies to do so) and the bed upstairs to the left has a unstable bed frame coming apart twice and my husband had to re-screw the bed together twice…and by the look of it this isn’t the first time it’s happened and also house for a guest of 8 I feel more than one towel per guest for a week would be helpful especially since there is a hot tub and some switches upstairs do not work for lights. Nestago does have a great communication and call backs for any concerns and gives updates via emails as well.

The whole place reeks of mildew as soon as you walk in. Main floor bathroom and shower ceilings were covered with visible mildew.

Wonderful views with great outdoor experience. The treehouse were a bit unsafe and my kids were bummed, they were unable to play in it. Rotten boards, broken steps. Spacious living room, wish the beds were larger, the bunk beds are the most noisy beds Ive ever experienced. If someone is in the top bunk you'll get zero sleep. Other than a few sleeping issues and poor condition of the treehouses, the location was great with a quick trip to town!

It was what we were looking for a house in the mountains.

The view of Pikes Peak from the living room and porch area is stunning. We felt at home immediately.

Overall we had an amazing time and would stay again! The listing said 10 people could stay here (and there were enough beds) but the kitchen wasn’t stocked well for that many people. Also we had a hard time figuring out the light switches. There were no directions and it took a while to figure out the light switch combo to turn on/off the lights. We wish we would’ve brought more cooking supplies and things for the kitchen and maybe if there was a booklet for directions on tips for the house and trails in the area that would’ve been great.
The views were incredible and the house was great! We loved the hot tub and the property is mostly fenced in which made it a great place for our dogs to run around.

Great place to visit. Quiet, private and the staff was outstanding through the whole process! I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay and everything worked as it should. View was great and saw lots of big bucks and squirrels. Needed a few more kitchen items like pots and pans and spoons etc. . Most of dishes were dirty when we got there and we had to wash them before using them. . Great location and easy check in and check out.

We had the best time here. It is so close to so many attractions. There was things to do everyday. We also enjoyed the quiet restful atmosphere of the home. Thank you!

Overall we had a good stay at this property.
Here are the pros:
- Great views of Pikes Peak
- Hot tub is clean, hot and works well!
- Great location at end of the road
- Good privacy on land and proximity to other houses. Really makes it feel like a retreat
- Spacious living room and bedrooms.
The following are items that really need some work:
- Driveway has major washout and I would recommend a 4wd or SUV if parking on it. I would be concerned about ground clearance with a car or minivan.
- Broken ice maker on the fridge. There were manual ice trays in the fridge that were all cracked a leaking. Plan on bringing your own bag of ice if staying.
- Door is broken on downstairs bedroom (bunkbeds). It does not close without lifting up on it as the hinges and screws are pulled out. This is annoying as an adult and a safety issue if a kid were staying in the room and wanting to close/open the door.
- Grill needs cleaned and outdoor faucet, and mini-fridge is not working.
- Top of washer is very dusty and needs cleaned.

We spent most of our time on the stone deck enjoying the Mountain View and the hot tub. The house was nice and clean. Driveway needs graded a bit. Rain has washed it out.

The view was lovely and everything we were looking for in a cabin rental.

We are a group that travels together frequently, staying in cabins as we go. We were very excited about our stay, especially for the kids with the tree houses. The pictures of the interior of the house don’t show how dated the inside really is. The treehouses had spots in the floor that were rotted out making it unsafe for the kids. Hot tub was clean; grill was clean inside but very dirty outside. The best part of the house was the upstairs bathroom, which does not match the rest of the house at all. Very dated property.

Great stay for my family we loved the views and hot tub and the outdoor kitchen! Utilized all for our short stay! Would love to come back. Thank you for sharing this wonderful peace of heaven.

Was a pretty nice stay
Overall we would stay here again. It was at the end of a dead end street and we saw tons of deer on and around the property. Our door code worked perfectly. They had even thought of things you may have forgotten. They had a hair dryer which was awesome and a box fan. Loved that! I usually sleep with one at home so that helped tremendously. There was laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Soap and towels. Spices etc.
But there were a few things that they could do to make it up to par for the nightly cost. (In my opinion) We went a good chunk above our budget for this place cause it just screamed vacation and not just staying in someone’s house.
-The tree house and yard was kinda the reason we decided to go with it. But it had bees in it. One followed us back into the house 😅 idk if they have a nest in there cause we didn’t go back to check.
-The kitchen sink faucet handle was very broken. It functioned but that’s a very easy fix to make.
-The ceiling fans I’m almost positive have a remote (we have a very similar one that won’t work if the remote was used to turn it off) But the company said that they don’t. The lights would come on if 2 switches were turned on but never could get the fans to work. And I tried pulling the strings. This was only a nuisance because that living room got pretty warm in the afternoons.
-The downstairs bedroom door had holes and looked like someone took out some anger on it. My 1yr old just kept trying to put his toys in the holes. Again a pretty simple fix to replace that door.
-They did have a broom/dustpan and some type of vacuum there too. The vacuum was just filled with hair and dirt. But it was nice to have for tidying up.
-a couple of the stones were loose in the back. One on the edge of the patio area. Then a few that go down to the hot tub. Not sure how easy it is to fix but definitely worth it so someone doesn’t fall.
- upstairs bathroom had some lights that either were burnt out or didn’t work.
We didn’t utilize the outside grill area so can’t comment on that. I only leave this list in hopes the company will make a few improvements.

Mountain getaway
My nephews were in town and we usually go camping but with the rain on uncertainty of fire bans we decided to rent this property instead. It was perfect to accommodate my son and my 2 youngest nephews. My oldest nephew and his wife. My mother and niece and my sister and her boyfriend. We all enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the view was amazing. We daw several deer and buck. We explored the surrounding trails and ventured to horsetheif falls too. Lovely stay cation
