Délicieux petit déjeuner avec de bonnes confitures faites maison.
Très belle chambre avec une déco qui nous amène à “positano”.

We feel so lucky to have found Casale Guarracino. We had no idea what an absolute treat we were in for and how beautiful and special this place was going to be - one of the best properties we’ve ever experienced in decades of traveling. The property sits high above Sorrento with astounding views of the sea, the city and Mt. Vesuvius. Ivan and Rosaria have created an oasis of beauty and tranquility. The rooms look out on the sea or the gardens, which are lovely. Breakfast is served on the upper terrace with a fantastic view and the sound of birds singing. The orange juice is freshly squeezed from their trees. The rooms are new and clean with everything you need. And the hosts Ivan and Rosa are nothing short of amazing - it was like staying with old friends, eager to help with any need you have (helping park your car on tiny Italian streets, shuttle down to city, etc). Five stars is not enough to capture how wonderful they and their property are. One tip - book as many nights as you can, as you won’t want to leave!

Ivan and Rosalia organize everything that you need:
Scooter, transfer, special food you need… they are simply the best.
Great location to reach different places like Positano, Capri, Amalfi, Ravello etc..
They provide you with great tips.
Location and view are stunning :-)

We have spent 4 nights at Casale Guarracino. Ivan and his family are excellent hosts, warm and always available. They picked us from Sorrento and they also helped us the last day.breakfast was amazing with homemade and local products. The room was very clean and quiet. We totally recommend it!!

I really loved our room with a view to the city. Breakfast was really good, made with fresh and local products (tomatos, basilic, bread). Ivan and his family was really nice and welcoming. They help us with everything - car, parking, lunch, pastries shop.
I propose to change decoration in the main hall, because at the beginning it's hard to see that it is also a reception place.

great hosts, nice clean building and room. Everything looks really new and clean.
The sofa and additional pillows were covered with/made of soft fake leather so feels much more cleaner then the usual fabric couch.
They helped us with booking our Capri tour with discount and even dropped us off so we saved paying for a expensive parking spot at the port/bay.
breakfast was simple but i was happy they uses vegetables from own garden; super delicious and Ivan made something different for my vegan diet.
Only book this one if you have a car and my room was on 2nd floor with no lift but Rosaria was so kind to help me with the bags.
Guests have own entrance, so this gives you feeling of hotel instead of BB.
Positana is really close by.
ummm mosquitoes in the open terrace restaurant :)
paid parking but its cheap

Everything! Starting with the hosts/owners, Rosaria and Ivan. They were simply wonderful! The property is very beautiful. The view spectacular. The food delicious. Ivan is a great chef. He cooks everything from scratch with ingredients from their garden. The room is spacious, cozy, and spotless. I would definitely come back again!
Everything was perfect!

Everything was great. The room is modern, clean and with a very nice interior, the hotel grounds are beautiful and well-kept. From the territory of the hotel there are wonderful views of the sea, especially beautiful from the terrace. Had a delicious breakfast. I think I will definitely stay in this place again when I am in Sorrento

We have spent five nights at Casale Guarracino; we used this location as a base for visiting Pompeii, Capri and the little villages on the Amalfi coast.
We have chosen this spot because we wanted to be close to the above mentioned sites, yet not in a noisy, overtouristy area.
The fact that Casale had a restaurant on the site was a plus for us - while the is no shortage of restaurants in the region, we felt that it was great to be able to dine "in" after a long day of exploring.
The restaurant serves classic Italian meals in a beautiful setting and it's very reasonably priced.
We travelled by car and we had no trouble finding parking in the vicinity of the property (for 3 EUR/day)
The room itself was large, bright, impeccably clean and had stunning views.
Breakfast was served on the terrace, it was varied and tasty.
But what made our stay really special was Ivan and Rosaria - the owners of the Casale, warm, hard-working, genuine people, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during our stay.
We can't thank them enough!

Extremely welcoming hosts: This is a family hotel and the hosts provided exceptional service, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay.
Impeccable room cleanliness: The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Guests could expect a well-maintained and spotless environment.
Room confronts: Very comfy bed, nice furniture and bathroom.
Unique breakfast experience: The breakfast offered was great with a unique and enjoyable dining experience. Having it on the terrace allowed us to enjoy a lovely view of Sorrento.
Quiet and village-like atmosphere: The hotel's location, although a bit far from the centre of Sorrento, created a peaceful and tranquil environment. It offered a nice escape from the hustle and bustle, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed and village-like vibe.
Value for money: We spent 15 days in our trip in Italy and this was the best value for money we had :)
Distance from the centre: The hotel's location, being a bit far from the centre of Sorrento, could be inconvenient for guests who prefer to be in the heart of the city. It might require additional travel time to reach popular attractions and amenities. But this can also be an advantage (see pros :)) so its about context and expectations.
- Hosts did offer us transportation with their car.

Good owners, nice view, beautiful garden with orange and lemon trees. Possible to park scooter on property. Apartments seemed new and nice.
I would like fresh orange juice on breakfast instead of store bought juice :)))

The owners really made us feel at home. Also, when staying over, consider having dinner here as well. The view over Sorrento from the rooftop terrace is great and the food was amazing.

We loved our stay! The owners were really kind, hospitable, and professional in what they do. They gave us a ride to and from the premises. Our room was very spacious, brand new, and clean. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast were just amazing, all homemade by the owner of the place who is a professional chef, and his cooking classes are available upon request.
If you book this place I'm sure you won't regret it. We would definitely return there!

We had THE best stay with Ivan & Rosaria! they made our trip super easy in a knew town. The property has a real authentic Italian feel to it, just what we wanted after staying in a spa for the first part of our trip. Ivan was a great host and speaks good English. Rosaria picked us up form the train station no problem and they were both happy to pick up and drop us into town whenever they could accommodate. On a rainy day we decided to do the cooking class with Ivan which made our trip
and was great value for money! bathroom was clean and shower hot! All the food is homemade by Ivan
himself, the breakfast with fresh pastries, bread, condiments and eggs… you must try his cream lemoncello! Nothing was a problem and would highly recommend staying.
Nothing! Would just bear in mind that it is a little walk uphill from the town centre, so factor in the cost of €10 transfers into town by Ivan each way if you are not able to walk :)

Good breakfast, nice view, peaceful surroundings
Very slow room heating and cold dining room in the morning. The parking is on the street not within the hotel

Rooms are lovely and very clean. Breakfast was perfect. Hosts are adorable : I learned to do pizzas with them, we could eat even if we were the only clients (in February !), they gave us a lift to the port of Sorrente, etc. And the homemade cream of limon, so delicious :) Thank you very much for your hospitality.
Not a thing that I didn't appreciated. Be careful to take some coins for the parking in the street cause it does not allow credit cards. 15 euros for a week.

Everything was perfect. We got a tour of the hotel when we arrived and saw the rooms that were all lovely and decorated in different colours representing different cities of Italy. Rosaria and Ivan made us feel like at home. After the delicious dinner prepared by Ivan, they offered our son to help prepare dough for the pizzas of the day after, he could not have enjoyed it more, and so did we! The breakfast was again delicious with views of Vesubio and it was hard to say goodbye to lovely Rosaria. It was a pleasure to meet such an amazing people, if this is not a motivation to travel I don't know what is. Thanks so much!
Nothing, everything was perfect.

The best place we stayed so far in our life! And i am not exaggerating. The owners, Ivan and Rosaria, just opened they business this year and do it great! we felt like at home! everything super clean and new. Ivan is a chef and will cook for you really great breakfast. if you have special occasion - Ivan will help you to organize everything.
Ivan and Rosaria offer transfer from city center to they hotel but we weren’t informed that we need to pay for that 10€ per time. so we were charged 20€ and got at the end of amazing stay a bit unpleasant feeling
10.0 / 10.0
Feels very luxurious and exclusive because it's a large villa with just a few rooms and with an amazing panoramic view - overlooks Sorrento and has a clear view of Mt Vesuvius. Room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely well renovated. Shower was top notch - hot water and good water pressure. Wifi also had a very strong signal in the rooms.
The house restaurant also served really great food. We had dinner there when we arrived and it was very tasty and fresh! Most of the vegetables and fruits served came directly from their garden - a bit of a farm-to-table experience. Breakfast was on a little terrace overlooking a cute garden with the amazing view again. They also had a great selection - fruits, eggs, ham, cheese, tomato salad, yoghurt, bread, croissants, cake, juice, tea, and coffee.
Ivan and Rosario were both extremely hospitable and friendly! We originally only booked 1 night but loved it so much we decided to stay another one. Luckily, we were at the end of the season and the room was still available.
