About this house rental
Great family condominium on Telluride's popular west end! This three-bedroom plus loft condo is located on S. Mahoney Street, just two and half blocks from the base of Lift 7.

The entrance to this condo is one level up from the entry. There is a full kitchen open to the L-shaped living room with plenty of seating, a 24-inch flat-screen TV with Roku, DVD player, stereo, game table, dining table that seats eight and a wood-burning stove. Down the hall is the master bedroom with a king bed, flatscreen TV and private bathroom with double vanity sinks and a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom has a queen bed, while the third has two sets of bunk beds. The shared bath is accessed from the hallway and has double sink vanity and shower only.
Upstairs in the loft is a queen bed, 15-inch flat-screen TV and balcony with obstructed views of the ski area to the south.
The Smuggler complex has ski locker access.
This spacious condo is comfortable for a larger family or group of friends. The grocery store is next door, while downtown is four blocks, a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and shops. The high school (Palm Theatre and soccer fields) is across the main street from this neighborhood.

We had a lovely summer stay at Smuggler F. The condo is in a perfect location across from Clark's, and town is about a 15 minute walk away, along either the streets or the river walk. The property was as pictured, with lots of light and space. The bathrooms were updated with new showers and serviceable sinks and toilets, but the kitchen was very tired except for an updated dishwasher. A new cutting board and some new/additional spoons and knives would go a long way. Very clean floors, beds, and surfaces. We would stay here again. AvantStay did a great job of providing check-in/check-out instructions and communication.

We went during the peak weekend for fall color change and it was gorgeous! Plenty of warm weather and great hiking weather. The grocery store was half a block from our condo. The walk into town was too far for us to walk so we drove into town most of the time. But still doable if you are younger than we are. The condo has a flight of stairs to the door and two flights of stairs inside. If you are not a stair person, find another place. But the place was functional for us with plenty of room. The kitchen could use some more replenishing of dishes, silverware, and glassware. There were only 4 mismatched wine glasses. 2 of my children could make it. If they had we wouldn't have enough wineglasses for everyone nor spoons. The address numbers on the unit say 762 instead of 766 which Avant gave us as an address. Our stay was delightful and laidback.

Great location and space. However, townhouse was not clean…dirty beds, carpet, fixtures etc. Cookware and utensils not adequate. Tiny TV in big living room. Overall decent place but needs a facelift. Good for a party house but not a family vacation.

Loved everything about this property. The location and proximity to the hill & downtown + overall setup. Perfect for a long weekend ski trip with a group of friends. The only knock on the place was that it was a little dirty when we arrived and wasn’t fully cleaned.

Spacious and comfortable condo in a great location. Walkable to everything downtown Telluride including the gondola. The condo was up two flights of stairs, but not a problem for our group. The unit was very spacious. Bathrooms were updated which was nice. The rest of the space and the kitchen/furnishings were somewhat dated but clean and comfortable. Overall great value and would recommend.

very convenient to chair lift 7. Some minor deferred maintenance issues in the unit but nothing offensive. They should fix or replace the stove as two burners were out. In general the unit was very comfortable for our party of 5 and we enjoyed the stay and would consider renting the unit again.

Great location!
The location cannot be beat. Stayed here with a group of friends to ski Telluride. Close to town, close to the slopes. Overall the condo could use some serious updating and there were items that need attention. Nothing to interfere with our stay though so it was fine.

Great weeklong stay!
Excellent location, just a short walk from Lift 7 and the grocery store. Just a little bit further and you’ll reach Main St and the gondola. Easily fit a group of 10 with ski gear. No complaints!

Great Stay By The Slopes
Location is prime to get on the ski lifts. 5 or less minute walk. Telluride town is a 10 or less minute walk. Parking spots at the building were prime. Little disappointed the hot tub was close but understandable given the state of the world. (Jan 22) 100% would stay again.

Wonderful stay
Great location, very easy to walk to the closest lift. Property was as advertised. Only complaint is that all the beds were very firm, but other than that an absolutely wonderful stay!

Great Location
Great cozy clean place and location to grocery store is amazing. We like to cook so that was very helpful. Management was extremely responsive to questions and a very minor issue. Only thing I would prepare someone for is the WiFi. I don’t think it’s not the unit WiFi but just in general it’s very poor service which made it hard for the few people that has to work remotely. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their home.

Property was as described. Couple of minor issues ( Microwave Broken and 3 burners on oven not working) ..but those were resolved very quickly.

We had a great time! Can't beat the location and additional free parking was a short walk away. The bedrooms met our needs perfectly and we were able to take advantage of a well equipped kitchen. The walls were a bit thing so we could hear the neighbors at times, but nothing that wouldn't make me want to come back.

Bear action!
Condo is in a great location a stone's throw from Clarks Market and easy access to the river trail. Bears tipped the trash cans every night we were there.

Great socially distanced vacation
Great condo with lots of space and very easy check in. Walking distance to town. Telluride is a beautiful place and we really enjoyed our time there. Great place to have a socially distanced vacation.

Great location, needs a refresh
This condo has a great location that is just a short walk to lift 7 in town. It also set up very well for families with a bunk room that has double bunk beds for the kids plus three more separate rooms (1 is a loft). We fit four kids and five adults with no problem. The downside for this condo is that it’s interior is getting dated, and the showers, dishwasher, and beds are all due for a refresh. Overall, it’s a good value for the money, but needs a little TLC.
