About this house rental
Nestled in an area of outstanding beauty, the hideaway offers a peaceful stay within a 10 minute drive from Cheltenham, famous for the races and various festivals throughout the year. With separate access to the barn house, it’s a private and self-contained space with vaulted ceilings, breathtaking views and exposed oak beams. Perfect for romantic getaways, ardent ramblers, nature lovers or people who want to escape the humdrum of everyday life.
As the annex is set in an area of outstanding beauty, the views are uninterrupted and stunning, we have right of way through the the paths that run from the rear of the barn to various trails through the Cotswolds, including the Cotswolds way.
A 35 minute cross country walk will have you arriving at Cowley Manor, another 10 minutes will have you at The Green Dragon Inn. Historic Gloucester Docks within a 10 min drive.
Other attractions include, Prinknash Abbey, Rococo Garden, Cheltenham Racecourse, Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, Westonbirt Aboretum, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Cotswold Waterpark, Stow-on-the-Wold.
Enter the annex via a private entrance into the hallway which forks off to the bathroom and garden room which has views over Cotswold escarpments.
Leading from the garden room, you have a large open planned living space with kitchen, open fire (to be reinstated end of year), underfloor heating, vaulted ceilings and flagstone floors. Open space leads to guest bedroom. Garden room also has a sofa bed and can be closed off to form a 2nd bedroom.
We live in the main house and so are available to help out when need be, however you’ll have your complete privacy as the annex is fully self-contained. We are also available for questions via phone, text and email.
We like to interact with guests based on their preference.
Free parking and use of outdoor space. Though the walks are incredible, if you wish to go further-afield, you’ll need a car to get around.

Amazing experience
The property listing and photos are very accurate. The building is an old farmhouse and the interior is even more stunning in person. Very stylishly decorated. Had a very authentic Cotswold countryside experience. Really enjoyed the remote location which allowed for a very peaceful stay and there were great walks nearby including the Cotswold Way trail.
