Vaquero Vines is in rural Templeton, where the cowboy living meets wine country at its best. The home sits on 42 acres, with views that will take your breath away. 20 acres of Cabernet which makes its way to Daou wine makers every harvest. This single level ranch style home is rustic and comfortable. Every room is well appointed and drenched in cowboy chic. The old west meets the current vineyard vibes. Whip up a great meal in the full kitchen while the steaks are on the BBQ. This home has it all. You won’t be bored with a pool table, pinball amazing grounds, swimming pool and spa. The swimming pool and spa are waiting for you after a day of wine tasting and exploring the central coast. When sun goes down, check out the night sky! Stars, stars and more stars to keep you company by the outdoor firepit. When it is time to turn in, you will be surrounded by comfort and luxury hotel quality linens and towels. Waking up to a vineyard view will start any day our on the right foot. Yoga is offered most weekends onsite. All levels welcome. Look for the flyer in the house for more details. This place met all our needs. Everyone enjoyed the pool/jacuzzi, pickleball court, volleyball, and basketball courts. The dirt road is great for running up and downhill. You don't need to go anywhere, and the kids were not glued to their phones.The house had plenty of space, so we did not have to be on top of each other, but we could eat in one area. There are two BBQ grills and a fire pit for s'mores. There are also plenty of bathrooms, so there was no waiting in line. There was a full kitchen and a smaller kitchen in the game room. This place could use bigger pots and pans. We brought our spices. As previous reviewers mentioned, you had to go through the master bedroom to get to the game room and more bedrooms. We walked outside to get to the other side. The pool house was perfect for the boys, with a bunk and trundle bed. I recommend this place. Great for a group, and if you don't mind, the weird master.

had a wonderful family experience with our kids and grandchildren. The heated pool/yard is the highlight. we spent the majority of the day in the pool. we didn't feel the need to leave the property for other entertainment. The property is very private and quiet. The house is more rustic than the pictures depict and not as bright but still clean. One thing I didn't like is that going through the master bedroom in the middle of the house is the only way to get to the other side of the house unless you go outside so it becomes a thoroughfare day and night. the kitchen could be better stocked and organized. there were no potholders so we had to go to Walmart and get some. there were also no scissors. More pool side furniture would be nice for a large group. The dining table outside only sits six. The pool furniture could also use an update. they were pretty worn. The pool storage shed needs cleaning and organized. Sadly,the croquet game was missing pieces so could not be used. the huge lawn is perfect for it. great place overall. some changes mentioned above would make it worth the price.

The photos do not do this property justice. It is like staying at your own private winery. We were here for an 89th birthday celebration for our grandmother & ages ranged from 2-89. Everyone had an amazing time. It was a truly wonderful experience.

We had a great time,, the location was very peaceful away from town. The house is huge. The key lock for the pool house needs to be updated, it was very difficult to open. The property is gorgeous.

We stayed at Vaquero Vines with a group of 11 women and the sprawling Floorplan and property was perfect. Two of the woman want to book for their families. The house is clean, the yard has a big lush lawn and the pool was a wonderful gathering point. You're surrounded by grape vines which gives you absolute privacy. Paso Robles Vacation Rentals is very responsive, gave us great tips for restaurants, and they keep the property looking perfect.

This was a perfect house for our weekend! There were 15 of us girls and it was a very hot summer weekend, so we spent most of the time in the pool, along with a day of wine tasting. Beautiful property surrounded by trees, vineyards, animals down the street, etc. Lots of privacy and was very well stocked with everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great home to seeve as a base for wine tasting adventures. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with the basics. We used the propane bbq to cook up some tri-tip. The seating areas were comfortable as were the beds. We plan to come back.

A beautiful home in a stunning setting. We rented Vaquero Vines for a a reunion of college friends (7 of us and now senior citizens). We could not have been more pleased. Perfect location. Walking on a path around the vineyard in the morning was a delight as was pool lounging in the afternoon. Our reunion happens every year and this one was the best. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Vaquero Vines! Our group of 15 stayed here for my bachelorette weekend from Thurs-Sunday. The property was huge, so pretty, and peaceful. The house was stocked with all the supplies we could ever need - we had a chef come in for a private dinner at the house and he found everything he needed from serving platters, charcuterie boards, and glassware. The pool is beautiful and has an amazing view of the vineyard on property! So many girls have already mentioned wanting to come back. Highly recommend! The only things I would mention to future renters is that the house is really suited for 14 adults and ubers take some time to reach the house, but that was expected! It was an easy drive into downtown Paso and wineries.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is beautiful, with a giant lawn that was great for games, and a new play structure that my son loved. Plenty of room for our big group inside the house, and the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were all well appointed with everything we needed. The guest portal for check-in and check-out was really neat and easy, as well. Our only issue was a skunk making his home somewhere near the house on our last night which really shocked the senses, but that comes along with being in nature! We would definitely stay again.

This house overall worked really well for our large group. The only downside is that I think it really only sleeps 14-15 comfortably where it’s advertised for 16. Our group was super flexible so someone slept on the couch (which was really comfy) but could be a problem for some other groups. We had some minor issues with things not working but the management team was very responsive and made accommodations if it couldn’t be fixed right away. I would love to see this place in the summer to take full advantage of the outside area. Beautiful, clean home and we had a great time!

Our group had the most amazing weekend at Vaquero Vineyard. The grounds are absolutely stunning. We enjoyed the pool, volleyball/basketball courts, BBQ and fire pit. The inside of the house is spacious and had everything you could possibly need. We are already planning another weekend back. The heater wasn't working in part of the house and they brought us portable heaters and blankets right away.

The house was gorgeous and so was the location. We had a great time at the property with kids. The house was big and very clean and comfortable and had plenty of areas to hangout for a large group. We had a great time in the pool watching sunset in the vineyard.

I stayed in this house with my family of four, my brother’s family of four, and our parents. It is so perfect for a group! Plenty of space for the adults, teens, and kiddos to spread out. And the property! Just so serene and beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Not too baron/sterile like some vacation rentals and not overloaded with clutter and knick-knacks. Comfy, clean couches to lounge and really comfy beds with quality bedding. There is so much to do on this property! The kids had a blast! Can’t wait to rent it again some day with friends for a Paso wine trip. Another huge bonus is the customer service you get from Paso Robles Vacation Rentals. So nice to have knowledgeable and friendly people available to answer any questions and make sure you are happy! Wish every vacation rental had a company like that behind it!
