I liked that this hotel was close to the beach and felt secure. The staff was really friendly. Booking didn’t show but this hotel had free breakfast which we enjoyed.
When I booked through booking I chose 3 beds when I got to the hotel I only had 2 queen beds. Booking also stated free parking, parking was not free. The pool was not in service which was another disappointment. The bathroom door was a sliding door which made lots of noise. The room had ants on the ac unit and the desk area by the tv. There was trash left from the previous person we found it in the morning when cleaning and putting away our stuff.

Breakfast was good with a variety to pick from. Staff working the room were very attentive.
The only problem was the remodel but we were told about it ahead of time. We look forward to the next time we stay so we can enjoy the new remodel!

Beds are comfortable
Site is on renovation, so honestly I think there is no conditions to receive guests. Price was like the hotel was fully funcional but its not. You enter from the back door. Elevator is not working properly, there are construction workers everywhere, noise, etc. They should close the hotel, finish the renovation and reopen. Not fare to ask the same price liek the hotel was fully functional.

Location was close to our event.
Our room was dirty, large dead crickets on the carpet.

Clean & comfortable
They are dog, friendly, however, make sure to find out the price before you come. I didn’t know until I was there that their charges $75 for one dog (apparently for 1 to 4 nights, however, I was only staying for one night). This charge is well above any other hotel I’ve been in with my dog.

location was good.
a bit outdated. Toilet wouldn’t flush on day one, was later fixed. Bathroom sink drainage was a bit slow

Room
We arrived 9:30PM tired! We rang the buzzer 3 times, waited over 5 minutes, and then I called before we were noticed and buzzed in. The greeting by the evening attendant was not welcoming. Afterwards I went to the eating area looking for a fork. Seeing the basket of fruit selected an apple. The attendant asked me what I was doing, I told him I was taking an apple. He asked again, and repeated myself. It was too late to create an issue so I just left becoming more upset at how was made to feel that I was stealing an apple. I felt we were paying extra to stay at your hotel, so this was totally inapporpriate. Is it the lack of a mission of wholesome hospitality, tired staff, racism (I'm Latino), or a combination?

I always like staying at the Hampton Inns. Our room was fine. And really just what we needed for staying in Paso Robles. I only wish that the young adults staying in the room next to us had behaved themselves better. they were very loud and annoying.

We've stayed here multiple times for wine tasting visits. Really like the quiet location close to 46 and easy drive to Paso Robles town square. This trip we had two other couples with us; they commented it was a particularly good Hampton Inn. We also like walking across parking lot to Enoteca Restaurant when not wanting to head to town for dinner. Excellent food and service there in a lovely space. Especially liked that our room is now fitted with dispensers for shower gel etc instead of individual bottles. Hotels really need to get away from that!

The staff was friendly
Our bathroom door, was locked when we arrived and needed maintenance to come, there are no USB outlets in the room and the TV doesn't accept HDMI to let you stream from your laptop. ( or just upgrade the TV's to chromecast) Also the juice machine at breakfast was broken all weekend, not a huge deal, but they could have put out pitchers of juice instead.

The 24/7 coffee, the included breakfast and the parking. Also, that it is pet friendly.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.location was good.
Room AC and heat was noisy and hard to regulate. If ours was off, we could hear the rooms above and below us.

The room was clean but very dated. We arrived and a puddle of water was in front of the kitchen. The cable was not working. It was booked as a “suite” but was one overcrowded poorly organized room with dated colors and well worn furniture. It was more expensive than other two room suites in the area. The breakfast was adequate but the items were not tasty and repetitive throughout the properties Hilton owns. The coffee was excellent though. I will probably book elsewhere next time. Times are tough but I can’t spend money and not enjoy my stay.
Everything by the coffee.

Second stay at this particular Hampton Inn: complimentary breakfast is higher standard than most chain hotels! Hotel lobby and rooms are nicely designed. This time we walked over to the Bellasera Hotel to eat in their restaurant Enoteca. It is a really a good restaurant with full bar and we liked not going back into town after driving all day and already doing our downtown Paso Robles activities. So the combo - Hampton Inn + Enoteca a minute away on foot - is really great. We find this Hampton Inn location is perfect for easy access to wineries.

Room was nice and spacious
Seems like breakfast is not as good as it used to be.

It was quiet and the ac worked great .the room smelled pleasant upon arrival and breakfast was plentiful and somewhat flavourful.
The room was nice, but there was evidence that the floor wasn't thoroughly cleaned. We found a build up of hair on the box spring which also said there was not a cleaning being done there. Our pillows had long since lost their ability to support heads. When we went swimming we definitely were being watched.
