Enjoyed the location and privacy . Awesome covered outdoor patio with views was fun place to hangout . Good for 2 couples. Has everything you need for a short stay .

The location was still close enough to walk into town for food and drink. The place itself was quiet and very charming. Everything from towels to coffee makers (3!) was top notch. But maybe best of all was the indoor/outdoor patio. An awesome place to drink morning coffee and late evening night-cap.

This beautiful home shows the love and attention to detail the owners have given it. My best friend and I stayed here for 3 nights while exploring the wineries. Instead of going out to eat, we found ourselves wanting to stay in and cook in the wonderful kitchen that had everything we needed! We spent every morning and evening in the gorgeous sunroom with stunning views, and the daily visits from the deer who were grazing above. Location to everything was great and the tips Tracey & Leila left about dining and wine shopping were life savers! I can't stress enough how clean and beautiful this home was. Best sleep ever on the comfortable beds. We even had to take a peak to find out who made them and have ordered the same beds for our guestrooms! My friend and are already planning a repeat visit to stay here. Can't say enough about the beautiful find!!!

Really nice 2 bedroom 2 bath property, very clean, everything quite new. Easy walk to all the downtown restaurants. Central location for visiting wineries. Great overall.

We absolutely loved staying here. Fantastic location, close to the square where all the bars, shops & restaurants are. Very clean and very cute decor! All amenities were available. Easy stay! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful hideaway tucked away on a lovely garden hillside. The home is gorgeously decorated and well appointed. There is an incredible glass sunroom to enjoy the sunrise views. We were lucky to watch deer from this spot every morning. Due to the hillside location there are stairs in and out of the home. The driveway is steep but provides nice off-street parking. We definitely plan to return!

A well appointed, clean, convenient location and the easy check-in process was so effortless and clear. The only thing to be aware of is the amount of stairs you climb to the house and in the house getting around.

I usually give the benefit of the doubt to hosts 'cause its a hard job. In this case, I won’t be back
The good: Location, general layout, regular deer sighting out the back of the house and sometimes, while driving/walking on the blocks to the house. Coffee lovers dream with 3 different kinds of coffee makers (and coffee) provided. Nicely stocked kitchen. Clean BBQ grill. Generally well-stocked amenities.
The bad: Host communication (rude and accusatory). Lockbox open with missing key upon arrival. After 30-40 min., host insists box was closed and had a key, also asking me if I had the right place and I told them the address/photos matched, so ‘yes;. Host then informs me of 2nd lockbox, which worked fine. Let them know I was ‘in’, host says they ‘sent someone by’ and I was wrong,. I offered to send them a picture of the open/empty lockbox and they declined. Host asks if I ‘knew how to use a lockbox’. I didn’t want to be petty and so I didn’t write the obvious question: “How do you think I got in using the second lockbox, if I didn’t know how to use one?”.
Downstairs en-suite bathroom shower backs dirty water up to your ankles. AC can’t keep up with the heat (works & is not adequate). Power outage on last day that the neighbors knew about due to utility warning sent to property owners. Host claimed not to know about it. I packed in the relative dark, left an expensive Bluetooth headset and when I wrote asking if it can be returned, they never replied.

The property was cute and quaint. Lots of lighting. Although we did not use much because we were out all day, it is equipped with all necessary items. I would stay at this property again.

This is the sweetest vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. Walkable to many great things yet deer grazing next door. Would very happily stay here again! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!!

We had a great time staying at Hillside Hacienda. The Hacienda was well equipped, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It’s walking distance to the downtown area and an easy drive to the wineries. Check in and check out was very easy. We would love to go back to Paso Robles and Hillside Hacienda in the future. Thank you Leila for your hospitality.

Absolutely perfect for our stay. High end amenities. A sun room complete with wood burning stove, heat & air conditioning that was our most favorite room: games, conversation, or early morning coffee. Walkable location to downtown. Beautiful historic area.

Right away, I was impressed with the thorough list of amenities provided that allowed me to leave some things behind (ie blow dryer, shampoo, etc). The setup is truly like that of a boutique hotel but with the privacy a private residence affords. Loved everything about the home- from the attention to detail with styling to the convenience to downtown (easy five minute walk). Highly recommend for the aforementioned reasons as well as the immaculate state of the home upon arrival and the prompt response from owners with any questions or concerns. Would absolutely stay here again!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with this sweet little spot. Amazingly done and no detail missed. This rental was clean, comfortable and charming. We were there over Thanksgiving and had to do some cooking to take sides where we were going. The kitchen is top notch and had everything we needed. I was nervous about this property being the back house with another property but it was very private and not weird at all. Separate entrances to the homes as well as other measures to ensure privacy. Beds were so comfortable as well. We will be staying here for all our future Paso travels.

Lovely place 4 blacks walk to Paso square. Deer were spotted in the back area. Lovely enclosed outdoor porch with mini-fireplace. Wonderful amenities (soaps, shampoos). Only downside, two sets of stairs to main the house. One bedroom downstairs. Might be tough for elderly and not accessible for disabled person who uses wheelchair. We very much enjoyed this place.

This is a great split-level property entering through a tiny living room, up a half-flight to a well equipped and designed kitchen + one bedroom and bath, and the enclosed lanai with beautiful views overlooking the valley. Steps downstairs through the middle of the unit take you to the master bedroom and bath. Great for two couples or a family. We had wild deer in the backyard in the mornings and a roughly 6-8 minute walk to restaurants and wine tasking. Perfect!

Wonderful property in a perfect location for our family stopping over for a couple of days in Paso on the trip from SF to San Diego. We were three - (parents and a 23 year old tall son). We all agreed it was a great place with everything you need in a really well stocked rental. I am partial to rentals that have everything you need to drink a delicious coffee in the am without having to go shopping. We loved the outdoor sun room because it has a fabulous heater and when the sun is out it doesn't matter how cold it is, it warms the room. This room really adds a lot in terms of light and space to a cozy rental which has fairly petite living room space. We enjoyed using the charcuterie board to pair appetizers with local wines we bought in that room. With lights on, it's magical. Beds are comfy. The room on the first floor got rave reviews from our 23 year old. We walked to everything to eat, or grab take out. We watched Netflix at the end of an evening, comfortably in spacious two seater sofa and big chair.
Easy parking and close to anything you'd want to do. We visited DAOU for a NYE tasting, ate at Il Cortile for NYE and visited Sensorio Light Exhibit on New Year's day. All were super easy from this location. The house heats up nicely in wet cold wintry weather (not always the case with vacay rentals), and we all slept well.

The property was clean and beautiful. They had only the best appliances and kitchen ware. The master bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of it. Perfect location to all wineries and downtown square. We’d love to stay here again on our next visit to Paso.

This home was beautiful and perfect for a short stay for two couples. Owners spent a lot of time creating a very high-end luxurious space. It is gorgeous. The location is in a quiet neighborhood close to the Paso Robles square, so very easy for walking in for meals or to visit wine tasting rooms.
I appreciated all the extra amenities provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Having two parking spots in the driveway was convenient.
As others mentioned, it is a back house. The communal areas are small, but the enclosed patio is wonderful for hanging out in. I stayed in the upstairs room and it did get a little stuffy with the heater running at night. (It was in the 30s at night during our stay). I mostly kept the door open for air circulation. The metal bed frame creaked quite a bit with the smallest movement, but if you are a hard sleeper that won't matter. The downstairs room doesn't have a window which can feel claustrophobic. There is a high window in the adjoining bathroom for some daylight. All in all - it is a fantastic place for a quick getaway.

The Hillside Hacienda is the perfect property for a stay in the wine country. There are two nice bedrooms on different levels which is a great feature for privacy when traveling with friends. The unit is tucked and and so quiet and night. We slept well! I loved the kitchen appliances and it is well stocked with nice cookware and dishes. The best part of this charming bungalow is the sunroom. It was our favorite place to hang out, eat, work and sip wine. We loved being able to take a short walk in to town. So convenient! I can’t wait to come back!

Certainly one of the best rentals we have stayed at. If only every rental was like this one, I'd be on vacation all the time! Not a detail was overlooked. Property managers are very friendly and quick to respond. The location is a quick walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is friendly, residential, and great for morning walks with a walking trail behind the house. The only downside is that this property is not kid-friendly for a toddler, lots of stairs inside with no gates and many sharp corners. Overall, it is a beautiful property. We feel very lucky to have stayed here while visiting Paso. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Every detail was so well thought-out and my husband loved cooking in the kitchen. All the provided amenities from soap to towels to all the spices were fabulous! Loved the area and did lots of walking including into downtown! Thank you for making our stay so fabulous in this beautiful place!!

Perfect for 3-4 people
Great location walking distance to the downtown square. Beautiful place perfect for 2-4 people. Well equipped with all the needs. We only stayed for 2 says and we wished we were staying longer.

Comfortable stay great location
Extremely strange floor plan and really tiny! Living space is about 8x8ft LOTS of stairs, second bedroom is actually underground with no windows… old house with a modern farmhouse decor, super comfortable beds and everything you can think of is provided. Very clean and view from the sunroom is amazing. Also, the driveway is soooo steep that one of our cars (a mustang) could not make it up without bottoming out. My pick up was fine. Overall it was a nice stay, great safe location close to center of down town Paso.

A Lovely House
We really enjoyed this house, especially the sun room. It was extremely well appointed and very clean. The only downside is the number of stairs. You should probably point this out to people because they could be a challenge to other seniors in less good shape.

Oasis Retreat
We really loved staying here! The layout is unique and the Sun Room was incredible. I do wish the Sun Room had a couch since there isn’t really a large living room space, but that’s only a minor comment as this space is wonderfully unique, and a small oasis to escape to. I would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Girls Weekend
We rented this place for a relaxing Girls Weekend. The place was beautiful and clean. We really enjoy relaxing in the sunroom. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was also very nice that there was shampoo, conditioner and coffee already at the house so we didn't have to go and buy it or bring it with us. We would most definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful Property & Amenities
We absolutely would stay in this property again! Our family (including my elderly mom) really enjoyed the relaxing stay.
The property itself is gorgeous and quiet. This sits on the hill and is the back house of a two-house property (it looks like the front house is also a rental property). The garden is well maintained and beautiful - if you are a bird watcher, there are also very cool birds you can spot throughout the property. We spent a lot of time in the enclosed sunroom (also has a separate AC). The driveway is a little steep, but manageable.
The amenities were very impressive - not only were they top-of-the-line appliances, but they also thought of all the items you would need for a vacation to wine country (bottle openers and cheese knives). They even offer additional amenities (for a fee) for beach items or if you have a baby/toddler.
Last, the team maintaining the property are also super communicative and a joy to work with. For example, they did let me know that the main refrigerator was out of commission several weeks in advance, but they provided a separate fridge/freezer that was just the right size for all the cooking/grilling we were planning to do. They also shared helpful resources and tips around Paso Robles a week prior to the trip.
