The home was beautiful and comfortable. We really loved the decks to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and gorgeous views. Hosts are very thoughtful and even included makeup remover wipes with the toiletries. I felt like I was at a 5 star resort except much quieter.

Very quiet and relaxing. Easy access to everything in town

Even though Vacasa customer service did everything they could to correct the problems we encountered with the property and accommodate our family, there were just to many things to address. When we entered, we found doors open to the other two rentals, one rental looked as if someone was still staying there. As we were checking our rental, we heard someone calling out and discovered a couple inside our place. They had rented part of the home, opened their door found the place a mess and our rental open so they walked in. Disturbing! Someone else had access to the area we rented. Vacasa, found another rental for them. As for my family, we had found a key on the floor that locked and unlocked the access doors to the two other rentals. On further inspection we found the refrigerator didn't work and its the day before thanksgiving! After several calls and complaints, a costumer service manager did as much as she could to accommodate our family. We were allowed to use to use the refrigerator in one of the other rentals. Each two floors down and one was open and stuffed with towels. So we had access to all three rentals, one that was a mess. The manager said she would refund part of the fees for our trouble. So our food and drinks are two floors down through another rental to a basement kitchen. What a pain. We locked the other rental and hoped no one had access codes. I wish it stopped there. We tried to figure out which room fit whom. The beds went from hard, to sagging, to not to bad. (just like the three bears). We gave our son and wife the third floor room. (They could hike three floors for a cool drink). We locked a few more doors and settled in. The next morning I got up to take a shower in the master bathroom. The shower didn't get hot, it is an open shower, water splashes everywhere! The bathroom mirror is so high you can just see the top of your head. We got a step stool so we could see ourselves. . There is a trough sink and if you stand in front of the left faucet, turn it on ,you get a stream of water that shoots out of the trough right into your croutch. The upper bathroom had a mirror that was just the opposite to low! . Also the bathtub is in backwards. We also found that the key pad would not lock the entry door so the manager had to drive to the home and deliver a master key. Sooo... The rooms have little place to hang clothing but are comfortable. The lay out is a little confusing as the home was divided up into three rentals. It has a well stocked kitchen, everything you need for cooking. There is no real dinning area. It does have a bar height table that works. Lots of windows and great control of heating. The location is in walking distance to all shops and restaurants. We found the internet slow so streaming on the Television was a little glitchy. With out the problems in checking in this would have been a nice place to stay. Vacasa's customers service was impressive. They responded quickly.

Short vacation stay, Great location Perfect for 3 mature adults that want their own space and bathroom

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Alpine Modern. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood within an easy 5-minute walk to downtown Sisters. Everything was clean and functional. The rooms are tastefully furnished and the kitchen is very well equipped. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had nice modern fixtures. We would definitely stay at this property again.
