Came to our hometown to see family. Loved that this was located close to them all. Clean, easy communication and best location for us.

The property is located in a lower middle-class neighborhood with lots of rentals. Not terrible area but need to be vigilant. It is basically in a suburb of Waco 12 minutes or so from Silos & Baylor University. The house was pretty clean but needed a deep clean of corners, ceilings, baseboards, vents etc. The kitchen was equipped nicely, and the laundry facilities were great. The BIG issue were the beds they were broken down and were like sleeping in a hammock. As a result, my husband's back went out and the put a damper on the trip. A little TLC with new beds & deep clean and the place would be definitely a potential return for us to visit our Baylor Bear.

Communication with Host was amazing. Every thing in the house was as described and very comfortable. Loved having a Keurig coffee maker. Neighborhood was very quiet and house was so close to so many convenient places.

The property is cutely updated with a big back yard and quiet neighborhood. The fold out is a full sofa fold out (not just futon) and reports from the teen sleeping there was that it was quite comfortable. Will definitely consider staying again if we head back to this part of Waco.

Overall the place was fine, we didn’t spend much time other than sleeping. The outside needs some
Love with the lawn unkept and the backyard not able to be enjoyed. Inside could have been a little cleaner. Finger prints on doors and bathroom cabinets. Yet it did its job by offering a comfy place to retreat after our busy afternoons.

Owner was very responsive to all emails . The home had been beautifully remodeled and so very comfortable. Great experience

Very nice place and worth the rental rate. Hostess couldn’t be nicer!

Beautifully renovated home with everything you need for a nice stay. We really loved watching the cardinals and squirrels in the backyard and being able to cook a meal in the kitchen. The master bedroom bed is comfortable but don't plan on sleeping in the middle as there is a hump. I gave 3 stars for cleanliness because it was clean enough but the bathroom was not fully clean - faucet, makeup mirror and the wall behind the sink were all dirty. The location is centrally located to several restaurants and grocery stores but not very close to Magnolia & tourist things. It's an older, quiet neighborhood and we felt safe. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and organized.

The house was so well done! It's very clean, has many thoughtful items and touches throughout the property - Coffee pods, make-up remover, shampoo and conditioner, etc. This rental made it easy for us to stay in Waco after flying to the area for a wedding. The location is also super convenient to the main areas in Waco. We loved our stay!

Sadie's 5 Star Retreat is a welcoming home in a pleasant neighborhood. My husband and I and our adult daughter stayed there to watch the recent eclipse, as well as to do a little local sight-seeing. It was a fun and thoughtful surprise to find 3 pairs of eclipse sunglasses waiting for us in the home. The kitchen is well-stocked and though we didn't make many meals in the house, there were plenty of dishes and pans, as well as a variety of spices. It was great to find bottles of water in the fridge and plenty of coffee (and tea) pods, plus creamers, for our use. The beds in both bedrooms were very comfy. The TVs were a little tricky and time-consuming to figure out, but we managed eventually. Also, we had a bit of a problem with the front door lock, but Michelle responded right away. All in all, I'd recommend staying there. We had a great time.

Cute, clean, and comfortable house. Felt safe in the neighborhood.

The house was exactly as pictured. The house appears to have been remodeled and was well appointed. The property manager answered any questions we had promptly. I cannot say the house was sparkling clean, but it was not filthy by any means. I found broken crayons and dust bunnies on the floor, some drips of food or beverage in the refrigerator, and some crumbs in silverware drawer. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils. We used only one bedroom and the bed was comfortable. The closet was roomy and stocked with hangers. The master bath was spacious and the shower was great!
My two suggestions would be to give a little more attention to detail on the cleaning and consider adding some grass and landscaping to the front and back yard.

This house was just as described in the listing - clean, warm and welcoming. This was the first time I was traveling with my toddler, and the host was helpful in answering all my questions as I figured out what we needed to bring. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and tea, and we made good use of the amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable, a pack and play was provided for my little one, and we all slept well after long days. We’d definitely come back to stay at Sadie’s!

Loved our stay here. House was clean, close to everything we went to see in Waco, and the master bedroom shower was awesome. We would definitely recommend this property.

A lovely, clean place, I would book it again. Had everything we needed for our stay in Waco! We visited family and toured the sights of the city.

We were in Waco for our 40th high school reunion. Sadie's Retreat fit the bill perfectly for the 4 of us. Furnishings were nice and the home was updated. Really enjoyed the selection of coffees and breakfast bars. Highly recommend for a stay in Waco. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

My girls and I came to Waco for a girls weekend. This place was centrally located to everything, great space, good back yard and quiet neighborhood.
4.7
We enjoyed our stay at Sadies! We had everything that we needed for our stay. The beds are SUPER COMFY, and the kitchen was well equipped with spices, dishes, pots, and pans, etc. We will be back to visit. The backyard was nice, and there was a table to sit out in the backyard and watch the birds and enjoy the evenings.

What a great little house in a quiet neighborhood! My retired parents and I were in town for a wedding and couldn't have been more pleased with the home, its location, everything was perfect. The kitchen is very well-appointed with a nice selection of appliances, dishes and flatware. The decor and rooms are as advertised: clean, cute and good-sized. It was nice coming back after a long day of festivities to a quiet, calming little haven. Highly recommend.

The house is comfortable and nicely remodeled;, conveniently located to the places we went, especially the Delaney which is less than 2 miles. Blackout curtains in the master make it easy to sleep in, bed in master could stand a replacement, has a bit of a hole but the second bed was firm, baths clean and bright. Kitchen has everything for cooking and eating. Great little house in an older well maintained neighborhood.

We were in town to visit our new grandaughter. The location was perfect as it was a close commute to go back and forth. Also close to Target, HEB. Neighborhood was quiet. House was clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortanble. Bedrooms and bathrooms were a perfect setup to accomodate the needs of our autistic son who was with us. Looks like this is a place we will be using for future visits.

The house was clean and updated. Could use more kitchen items, I like to cook when we have VRBO, but not alot of pots and pans or utensils. Could have used a spaghetti spoon, some wooden spoons, etc. Foil, plastic wrap and bags would have helped. Overall, we had a nice stay and communication was great. Thank you.

This home was beautifully updated, comfortable and super clean. The owner does a great job of making you feel welcome.
It was a great location for all we wanted to do in Waco. It was absolutely Premier and 5 Star!

We loved the place but be ready for a shady and busy neighborhood.

Great location, close to Waco, responsive host

We came from Virginia to see our new grand baby! The weather was too icy so we didn’t get to see much but we made lots of beautiful memories 😍. The house was warm and inviting and had everything we needed.
4.7
We really enjoyed this cozy home. Looks newly remodeled and was clean and staged perfectly. It was conveniently located to many eateries and the school we were playing at. The host, Michelle was very accommodating when we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend if ever in Waco it’s a must you stay there!

Thankful for this home. We were visiting family during the holidays and the location for us could not have been more perfect. Close to the home is a Target and HEB. The neighborhood seemed family friendly. The home was extremely clean and comfortable .and when I needed to communicate with the owner, they responded quickly. (My family was running a day late in our trip and I wanted to let the owner know. It had nothing to do with the home). It was raining and chilly while we were there, so we did not use the backyard. After you rent here, sign the guest book and read the stories of the other guests first thing. They have many recommendations (along with the owners HOME book) of places to visit. We will rent here again if it is available.

The property was as described in the listing. We didn’t spend much time in the unit except to sleep. The only thing that could be better is stronger water pressure at both bathroom sinks and a small dresser in both bedrooms would be nice.
4.7
My husband and I found Michele’s nicely remodeled and centrally located home to be quite comfortable for our week+ visit with family in Waco. Things we really appreciated during our 8 night stay—the very comfortable king bed in the master, the large shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and lots of countertop space in the master bath along with ample towels, a robe hook on the master bedroom door, and room darkening curtains in both bedrooms. We were grateful for the Keurig with pods in the kitchen and packets of oatmeal and granola bars for a quick breakfast.
Many of the homes in this older Waco neighborhood are less well kept than this one. Overall, the area was quiet. We were 10-15 minutes from most things we wanted to do on our trip.

We did not stay and went to hotels instead. The street was creepy, homes around are old and run down. The rental has been renovated but items in kitchen in cabinets did not appear clean. Stuff left in washer/dryer. But we mainly left as we did not feel comfortable or safe on that street with surrounding homes. Very disappointed.
4.7
Loved staying in this beautiful house! It was close to our friends whose daughter’s wedding we were attending and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. Enjoyed the smart TVs with streaming services and the Keuring!
4.7
Loved this home. Very spacious and comfortable. Appreciate the little extras that the owner offered. Would definitely stay here again if in Waco area.

Super clean, nicely furnished place in a great location. Would love to stay there again. Highly recommended!

Our stay was perfect as we transitioned into a new home.

We are between relocating to Texas and closing in our home. We needed a place with some room. Worked out well! Thank you!

This property is beautiful- just as advertised! Owner was very quick to respond. The super small issue we had was ants in the kitchen (counter, dishwasher) and in the shower. Unfortunately Texas hasn't had rain in a long time and this is the result. Owner responded they plan to have property sprayed again.
We really enjoyed our stay and loved the comfy beds!
