The restaurant and bar weren't open and the pool was to cold to swim

The room was fine, seemed clean and bed was comfortable. My problem was that the alarm on the digital clock was set to 6am, unbeknownst to us. We were, of course, quite upset to woken up so early on a Sunday morning. When I complained to the lobby personnel upon checkout, I was given a $12 credit for the parking fee for my inconvenience. This would have sounded like a nice gesture had I been told I was going to be charged $12 for parking in the first place! Plenty of close, free parking was available just beyond the hotel parking lot in the same quiet area. I mentioned this to the rep., but it seemed a moot point then...

The sofa and chairs were not as clean as they should be and need replacing.

Gym had no AC and no fans, it was hot and very scarce

Great no fuss motel. Clean spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with full tub. Front desk has all sorts of amenities that a forgetful traveler might need. Super walkable area with grocery stores, good restaurants, and coffee nearby. Was traveling for work, but honestly had such a nice stay, I'd come back for a small vacation anytime.

The best part of this hotel is the staff, they offer outstanding customer service & go out of their way to make sure you have all you need.

Nice hotel, decent location if you’re looking for something central to freeways. One annoying thing is charging for parking - this is Southern California, so it’s safe to assume every guest will have a car so why not just make it part of the room rate?

Terrible unfriendly front desk staff!! I will cancel my membership as I was told from the beginning of my booking over the phone that my membership didn’t have anything to do with getting priority booking. Our host got us the room, the only reason I extended our stay for our business. Mistake!!

This hotel is average. The worst part of my stay was the uncomfortable mattress. I was there for more than a week so I had to go out and purchase a foam topper and mattress pad in order to get any sleep. The manager and the staff were great though. They were very accommodating and friendly. Cleaning service is once a week unless otherwise requested. This was fine with us as we don't like traffic in our room. There was plenty of decent body soap, shampoo and conditioner. Housekeeping came around to refill if needed. There was a coffee maker, a microwave and a refrigerator that did not seem very cold though. I did not use these. The cleanliness of the room overall was just ok with little attention to switches and knobs etc. I did clean those myself. However, whatever I asked for, be it towels or blankets or trash bags, the staff kindly provided it. I asked to switch rooms and they did that as soon as one was available. There is a one washer/dryer coin operated laundry which came in very handy. There was a basic workout room with treadmills and an eliptical, some free weights and a bench. I think there was a stack type pulley machine for upper body as well. There is a business center which was helpful for my husband and a restaurant that is open for parts of the day. I would stay here again at the rate I got it for which was a bargain. It's better than any other hotel in Camarillo in this price range.

The first room I was assigned had a couch that smelled terrible and looked dirty. The hotel was accommodating though, and moved me to another room the next day. They also provided me with fabric spray for the night. It was unfortunate that was my first impression of the hotel.

Was very loud, no parking, shower and floors, water in shower was not going down. I noticed hair stuck in the drain. Kids running around when there’s a sign about quiet zone. Tons of trash by my pool view. Room 114

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Pictures were not what was represented. Bar opens at 6 never did usually 7. Wouldn’t eat there.

This was not a good experience. I arrived on a Friday and left on Monday. The staff was nice when they were available. The bar didn’t open at their scheduled time. And the breakfast was opened at their scheduled time. It was a disappointing experience.

Good place to stay when in Camarillo. Right next to shopping centers which makes it convenient.

Checking in was a nightmare, I called the day before and spoke to Ramon (Manager) regarding early check in, Ramon stated that it would be a $30 fee for checking in before 2 pm or no charge after 2 pm and noted my account. I arrived the day of check in at 1:30 pm and was helped by a going lady and stated they didn’t have a room for me even though I called the day before and the manager told me they’ll have a room ready for a $30 fee. 15 minutes later I had one of my family member check in and they gave them a room after I was told there was no room available. I went back to the front desk and spoke with Mark and he told me that they didn’t have any room available for me which made no senses and he was extremely rude. Mark seemed not to care at all, his exact words to me were that there was nothing he could so to come back at 4 pm to check in (extremely rude) He also told me that they’ll make sure the manager will call me on Monday morning and that never happened. We had to wait outside the hotel for over 2 hrs to check in. Extremely rude employees that don’t care about there customers

We just used the room as a place to sleep while we visited family in the area. Was surprised that the hotel's policy required guests to call the front desk the night before if they wanted their room serviced. We were there for 6 nights.

My room had very dirty carpet. Only had one role of toilet paper and no soap. The breakfasts that are offered are not the average breakfasts that everyone eats. Also, overpriced for what you get that is basically microwaveable food.

Close to freeway and restaurants. Check in was quick the receptionist was friendly. Our room was nice and large, only thing the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, pillows were way too soft. But had a nice stay, would stay again if ever passing through.

Tired out hotel

Decent place but right next to a freeway and has mandatory quiet hours.

Excellent, the hotel even had a free shuttle that took us to a local event.
