excellent motel with outstanding staff

TV has no option to utilize the HDMI inputs. Please change that. Needs more entrances. Front and rear only when the majority of the parking is on the sides of the building. Makes no sense. And I paid for faster wifi for my room and it wasn't faster

Great hotel and great customer service. The breakfast buffet was ok but I think the price was too high. Other than that the room was good and the beds where comfortable.

There were roaches in our rooms.

Was a great stay. Room was excellent. The hotel did charge for the night’s stay on top of my payment thru Hotels.com, but they fixed it and rectified it that day. Excellent customer service

Hotel was very clean, friendly staff. Room was nice, but bathroom door did not close all the way or lock and bathtub had no anti-slip features. Would stay here again.

Brian at the front desk was excellent.

We really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and complimentary cookies!!

We had a pretty terrible experience and we will not return. The biggest issue is the AC. It was SO loud and it ran constantly even though we had it set to 78. I used earplugs at night and I could still hear it.
Second problem was the pull out couch my kids used- the mattress was incredibly thin and the whole bed was not sturdy. The room layout was cramped, but it was nice to have two “rooms” with the junior suite, even if they were quite small.
To top it off, our toilet overflowed randomly at 10pm (they did do a good job of getting it cleaned up quickly), and the hotel hosted a gun show the weekend we were here 🙄. Overall not a positive experience. We stay in Phoenix regularly and we will not be returning.

Overall outer appearance looks good.
Experiencing being bitten by bed bugs was not expected. I stayed in room 215, hopefully this information being brought to the propertys attention, the bed bug issue can be taken care of

The property itself was ok. It’s a bit outdated and although there were many restaurants nearby the area is in a bad part of town. The worst part was the party that was going on next door from 10pm until about 3am in the morning. We had called down to the front desk to complain about the noise from the party at least 2 times. First call down was about 12 midnight when we thought would’ve died down but didn’t. Then the other time was at 2am which were told there were other rooms complaining about the noise as well. But still nothing was done. We hadn’t fallen asleep until about 3:30am. I don’t think we will be staying there again. Especially since the staff didn’t seem to care that the party was going on for hours until early morning. We actually recorded videos to capture how loud they were to show the front desk and all they said was “Sorry! It must have been the wedding party.”No compensation. No free breakfast. No free night. Something would’ve been nice since we only got a few terrible hours of sleep.

I really loved our room! We did have kind bed high floor overlooking all of Mesa. For someone who grew up here and went to the hotel as a kid - loved it. Would stay again!

Peggy at the front desk was horrible. She charged for a late check out for no reason. And the room had a broken door handle that was never fixed even after notifying the staff

I was there because it was close to Desert Banner hospital where I learned my brother was dying. I ran into difficulty booking with Hotels.com, but the staff at the Doubletree helped me get in touch with Hotels.com. After 2 hours! I was able to work out problem. Will never book with hotels.com again.

Good except for a few things. Pool was closed during the cooler time of day from 10 PM until 8 AM. Air-Conditioning system was very noisy so it woke me up every time it kicked on. Building was poorly insulated so it was uncomfortable in some areas. It is obvious that the Hilton chain doesn’t realize the advantages in comfort and reduced utility costs by correctly insulating their buildings and installing quieter HVAC systems. All can be solved with the correct solutions. Once upon a time 20 years ago when I was the Engineer for the 2nd Medical Brigade in the Green Zone of Baghdad (hotter than Phoenix) I did a project that insulated our Brigade Headquarters building with a ceramic microspheres type insulation called TC Ceramic. The result? The frequency of fuel convoys for the building generators was reduced from every three days to every six. I may be retired, but as one of about 💯 Fellows in the Association of Energy Engineers I could help Hilton fix this problem from both a technology and comfort standpoint. Investment of capital into the right building improvements can get a Return on investment of greater than 12% and improve customer comfort and satisfaction to increase occupancy and profitability.

Great stay while my mom passed at hospital near by

The only "glitch" was the stopped up tub. We went out to dinner only to return to a bath tub with some black, stinky stuff in it. Figured out real quick that the drain was almost completely blocked. When we called for assistance, someone was there almost immediately. He quickly resolved the clog and disinfected the tub for our use. The room was quiet and comfortable.

Due to global computer issues the hotel was unable to issue keys to any rooms, but they had staff readily available to open rooms for guests (never waited more than 1 minute).

First room that I had air-conditioning was out they moved me to a second room, which was not the same room that I paid for it was a much smaller room with not the same amenities and very outdated walk-in shower as I had requested either… Was disappointed that the staff was not willing to give me a refund of the difference in price between the two rooms … As the original room that I paid for was more expensive than the room that they put me in
