This was a last-minute booking and served its purpose. the property was not the cleanest but I felt comfortable and safe.

Floor was dirty, killed a cockroach in the bathroom.

First, I don't judge budget motels against higher level properties. I actually usually like places that are a little funky. With that said, this place was pretty dreadful. I was in town with my daughter for a soccer tournament and did not have the opportunity to book well ahead of time. We have stayed in the SLO area several times, from beach hotels to higher level properties. By the time we booked, rates were sky high. I read the reviews for this property and knew it wouldn't be fabulous. However, the first impression is that it's just a little weird. Check in was fast, no more than two minutes. In that two minutes, I was told, "no pets, no, smoking, no visitors - check out at 11," at least three times. The room was hot when we opened the door. The dresser was missing a handle on one of the drawers. Half of the power outlets did not work. There was a hair in the shower drain so the water would not vacate. I pulled it out and it was the size of a small rodent, so it has not been cleaned properly in awhile.
I would not stay again, but to the hotels credit, it was relatively quiet at night. The location is not great, but you are very close to the freeway to get to the nicer parts of SLO.

Perfectly adequate.

This property has all the basic amenities you need for a pleasant stay in a quiet yet convenient area. It was lovely

Chose this place for its low price when visiting Cal Poly. The motel is worn out but mostly functional. When checking in, I was advised three times that smoking and visitors are not allowed. As a mother of two close to age 50, I found this to be a bit odd and mostly amusing. Beds were okay and we were able to scramble up enough outlets for charging devices.

This is a very basic, no-frills motel, which was okay for a quick stop-over, but nothing more. It not within walking distance of downtown or anything else (regardless of its name).

The room was terrible. The sheets and bathroom were clean but the carpet old and grimy like all the furniture (including the bed). The carpet felt sticky to walk on and the curtains looked they had not been replaced (or cleaned since the 80s). It did not reflect the photo in the advertisement at all. I have the feeling that not all rooms were like mine and I was given one of the worst because I had prepaid and my reservation was non refundable. Not worth the money at all.

Drug deal outside my door, domestic violence in room next door at 2-4 am, gang graffiti in my room, shattered toilet lid, tv hanging off wall broken mount, $220 should get better conditions! I wish I could upload photos. Stay away!

Please fix broken towel rack.

For the price I expected a more. The toilet was broken the restroom was not clean the mini frigid was also dirty. I did not feel comfortable.

Carpet, walls and bed skirt were stained and dirty. Had a musty scent in the room.

We couldn’t sleep bc we could hear upstairs water pressure running and their stumbling foot steps.

We stayed here one night before graduation.
It was fine for the purpose.

Life happens, at the last minute we needed an upgrade to 2 beds we were only charged $35, I think that was a fair price.
I liked the room because it wasn't cheaply modernized, it had real furniture that wasn't bolted down.

Great would recommend it 😃👍

Good spot if you’re galavanting all day and only need a spot to rest. Simple little inn, but not super clean and very noisy.

Nice

Close to dining options and freeway

Nice area to stay at and not so expensive

It seems that the property was recently renovated, so old reviews aren’t the best way to gauge the quality of the stay.
Despite being right by a freeway, it was quiet and easy to sleep. Everything was clean and the fridge was spacious. The bathroom was a bit small and difficult to walk in and out of, but wasn’t much of a problem for an able bodied person.
The only con was that my room’s window was stuck, but I didn’t really need it open.

It was not a good stay. Low life people stay here . Woke us up at 2:30 in the morning yelling and screaming that their room key wouldnt work. Caused a big scene and woke everyone up in the motel. I would never stay here at this place again...never

Ive been to alotbof hotels in the area and one thing ive noticed is that they never show hospitality and politeness towards their guests. I can honestly say that my stay here was the first time ive recieved any kind of politeness and hospitality from the front desk. He passed no judgment or didnt make me feel like i was expected to be a problem. Ive always been respectful of hotels and never left messes. So there shouldnt ever be a reason for me to feel that way. Point being that he was very kind and treated me like a guest and made me feel welcome. A little kindness goes along way!!!!!

The property is very near Cal Poly SLO. The room was clean and price was decent for one night stay. There were plenty parking spaces. My room was on the back row so I didn’t hear the highway noise.

Great location, easy access and a good value. Updates look good but floors had only been swept, not washed, so they looked clean but socks were very dirty daily from the floors.

Overall I enjoyed my stay, although the AC in our room stopped working randomly but staff was very helpful. I was woken up at 2/3AM by people in the next room "accidentally" knocking on our door but I am sure that doesn't happen all the time.

Nice, comfortable bed and clean room. Simple amenities. Fairly spacious. Competitively priced. Might be nice to offer Netflix or HBO for a few extra dollars a night. Otherwise is very close to downtown and there is a relaxing river visible from the patio towards the end of the parking lot.

Motel is an all standard motel. The man who checked us in was brute , unfriendly.
The bed sheets had black hairs on top sheets.
Microwave filthy dirty.
2nd floor was very noisy with mechanical systems making lots of wave noise.
You can heard all steps and noises from above rooms.
Overall, not recommended!

Friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Carpet and furnishings pretty well worn.

Very goof

Was a nice place to stop off of the 101 on the way down the coast at an affordable rate

Nice one night stay

Checking in and out was very easy and friendly. But the inn itself is very dated. Bed was just ok and pillows awful. Paper thin bath towel. Convenient location to Cal Poly where we came to town to attend the football game.
I would not stay here again.

Just average like a motel 6.

Property was quiet and somewhat safe looking. Everything is out of date. There is cracks and stains on furniture and walls. Beds were nicely made and towels seemed and smell cleaned. The sheets i think might have not been washed. We saw lint and hair the moment we arrived and saw the sheets. We slept in our clothes and wrapped the pillows in extra clothes just to be safe. If you need a one night sleep and next to fast food and freeway then this place is the place to be. Other wise not the best looking feeling place to be for a extended period of time.

My husband was upset there were blood stains on the coverlet and hair on the beds. We had brought blankets so we laid them on top. Otherwise it was pleasant for just needing a place to rest/sleep.
2.9
Nice and clean
2.9
The cable tv did not work during the majority of our stay. Toilet was not bolted to the floor. Good location and price was right. Get what you pay for.
2.9
No real huge complaints. The only draw back was the AC not really being a comfortable feel, either too cold or too warm and the bathroom being quite small. Otherwise good overall experience.
2.9
upkeep of the room was not good at all. noisy fridge, shower hard to use, all furniture old and falling apart. i have to stay the front office was great.
