Possibly one of the best hotels to stay at if you are going to any of the events at the Armadillo or Hydro.
Close... clean... cost effective!

Room was spacious and comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly. Located with good access to public transport and regular buses to city centre. Check in and out was quick and simple. Breakfast selection beat all expectations. All in all would highly recommend.

Overpriced for what you get it’s verry dated and the walls are paper thin could hear music from a function downstairs past 1 am even after complaining
4.0
Overnight for show, room generally clean, small hair d in bathroom. TV couldn't connect to streaming services , hdmi slot not accessible. Tea coffee but no wee biscuits, breakfast good. Buffet style.

Hotel was very clean very friendly cosy and comfortable

Check in was smooth and easy despite having to queue for 5 mins. The hotel had something on when we stayed and as such hotel guests were asked to use the bar in one of the function rooms, which wasn’t big enough to hold everyone that wanted to use it. The room was tidy and clean but there were a few marks on the walls in the bedroom.

Fire alarm at 3 am due to someone showering. Ridiculous

Had a wonderful 2 nights at The Hilton Garden Inn, lovely staff throughout the hotel.
Rooms lovely only thing the pillows were not so good but that is the only downside. Would definitely stay again

Made a genuine mistake with dates. Meant to book 23rd and NOT 29th. I immediately called to change date but was not able to therefore I lost all my money!

Very handy for visit to Hydro

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. Very convenient for attending an event at the Hydro. Good breakfast, their vegetarian sausages at breakfast are yummy.
This stay our door didn’t lock when closed as you could open it from the outside. This was quickly rectified.
The room has a mini fridge which is fab.
Apart from the inconvenience of the door not working on arrival we only had one other downfall. The roll of extra toilet paper had obviously been sitting for a while and had some black mould on it along with around 10 little bugs crawling on it. We didn’t need extra toilet roll and didn’t notice it until the morning of check out but was a little disappointing and has made us look elsewhere for our next stay in a couple of weeks time.

Ismail on reception was very welcoming and informative.
Room looked onto the river which was lovely.
Rooms were spotless.
Extra bonus was having a fridge.
Only downside, the housekeeper left no tea and coffee, but easily rectified by reception.

Check in was busy which was fine, our rooms corridor had an awful smell there were no alternative rooms available due a conference being on in the hotel
The smell continued to be there thought the whole stay it was quite unpleasant

For the price it was very good . Comfy beds and a good breakfast . Staff very attentive and friendly which makes a huge difference to your stay . Only grumble is that you can hear other guests coming back to their rooms in the early hours and walls seem quite thin - could hear people in adjoining room on the toilet !! But would definitely stay hear again .

We loved and enjoyed our stay, lovely location close to amenities and city centre.
Aircon/heating instruction and control system was not working which was reported at check out.
Given the name and stars expected much cleaner and finishing in bathroom not up to the mark.

Stayed at the hotel when attending a concert. Has requested a low floor but ended up on the top floor!
Not enough staff on the bar when the concert finished to cope with everyone looking for an after concert drink. Rooms very clean .

Our room was dated but clean.
Other people staying at the same property said their room was very modern, so I guess we just got an old room sadly.
